For over 40 years Dr. Dan Rinchuse has had a career in academics, research and private orthodontic practice. He received his D.D.M., M.S. in pharmacology/physiology, M.D.S. in orthodontics and Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Pittsburgh. Before coming to Seton Hill University, Dr. Rinchuse served as professor of orthodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine Department of Orthodontics for 34 years. He has authored over 90 articles in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored the book, 'Evidence-based Clinical Orthodontics' in 2012. In addition, he is aneditorial consultant for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, The Angle Orthodontist, European Journal of Orthodontics and others.
Dr. Cenkner, a native of Greensburg, attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University to earn her D.D.S. degree followed by her Master of Science degree from Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics. Following graduation, she pursued private practice to broaden her clinical skills and treatment planning knowledge. She returned to her alma mater to begin her academic career as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Director at the Center for Orthodontics. Dr. Cenkner is excited to share her passion of orthodontics with patients, patient's families and residents.
Dr. Zullo's entire career has been spent in academics and research. In addition to his position at Seton Hill he is Professor Emeritus of Dental Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. He received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biology from Duquesne University and his Ph.D. in research methodology from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Zullo has published over 100 articles and over 80 abstracts in peer-reviewed journals in the fields of dentistry, medicine, nursing and education.
Our residents are all dentists who hold a D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine). They are learning to specialize in orthodontics under the supervision of expert, experienced orthodontists that are part of the Seton Hill University Center for Orthodontics staff. This teaching facility incorporates the latest technology with specialized equipment to provide the highest standard of treatment for patients of all ages.
AJ was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Stetson University and Masters Degree in Medical Physiology from Tulane University. He then received his DMD degree from LECOM. AJ Enjoys fishing and playing soccer.
Dr. Cortopassi was born and raised in Wheaton, IL. He attended the University of Dayton for an undergraduate degree in Biology and played football there as well. He attended Midwestern University for Dental School, receiving his D.M.D. He recently married the love of his life, Katelyn, in April 2021. In his free time Dr. Cortopassi likes to bike, golf, read, and explore new restaurants.
Dr. Crell was born and raised just outside Philadelphia. He has lived and worked in Texas after graduating from The Pennsylvania State University with degrees in Finance, Economics and International Business. He earned his D.D.S. from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Dr. Crell is passionate about patient care, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
Dr. Darley was born and raised in north central Florida. He earned his bachelor's degree at University of Central Florida, master's degree in biomedical sciences at Barry University in Miami, and his D.M.D. degree at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Darley is an avid fisherman and also enjoys sports, hunting, working out, and spending time with his family and two Labrador retrievers.
Dr. De Vernejoul was born in France and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree and then Nova Southeastern University for dental school. He loves spending time outdoors, cooking, and traveling.
Dr. Doyle is a 'born-and-raised Pittsburgher'. He earned his B.S. and D.M.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. Cullen loves spending time with family, working out, watching and playing sports, finding new music, and playing fetch with his corgi, Lilly!
Born and raised in Tarpon Springs, Florida, Dr. Dunham received her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and her D.M.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University. She likes being active and playing sports, especially volleyball and tennis. Additionally, she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Gandhi is from Florida. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA where she earned her bachelors in biology. Later she received her D.M.D. from Roseman University of Health Sciences, in South Jordan, UT. She recently completed a one-year advanced education in general dentistry at the University of Detroit Mercy. In her off time, Monica enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, golf, traveling, and listening to music.
Dr. Ghadami is from New York, where she attended a 7-year joint program, earning her B.S. from Adelphi University. She completed her dental school training at New York University College of Dentistry. Alexis loves traveling, baking, biking on her Peloton, and spending time with family.
A native of south-central Pennsylvania, she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degrees from Duquesne University, she then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Masters in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania. With a strong interest in dental education and community outreach, Dr. Hilton aspires to provide empathetic and compassionate care to her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Hilton enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Mike Jauch was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida, majoring in Food Science and Human Nutrition. He received his D.M.D. from LECOM and practiced three years as a general dentist before attending SHU for orthodontic residency. Dr. Mike's wife, Emma, is a general dentist in the Greensburg area and the two of them enjoy spending time with their two dogs, watching sports, and fishing.
Dr. Katz received her B.S. degree from the University of Florida and her D.M.D. from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in FL. Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, she is very excited to be back in PA to enjoy the seasons and study Orthodontics! In addition to traveling and trying new foods, she enjoys exercising and spending time with loved ones and her mini goldendoodle, Arlo.
Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Heidi pursued her undergraduate and D.D.S at the University of Michigan. She then served in the United States Navy for six years. While on active duty, Dr. Novak complete a one-year advanced education in general dentistry in Norfolk, VA, where she met her husband. She served three years aboard the USS Mesa Verde, then completed her service obligation at the United States Naval Academy. In her free time, Heidi enjoys spending time with her two pups and visiting Disney World any time she can!
Dr. Quinn was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Miami followed by her D.D.S. from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. In her free time, Stephanie lives an active life spent with family and friends.
Dr. Weber was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska where he majored in Biochemistry and completed dental school training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Dr. Weber is very active and loves to watch and play sports. When he is not cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, you will find him enjoying the outdoors.
Dr. Wentz was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas with two brothers, a sister and two wonderful parents! He attended Abilene Christian University for his undergraduate degree in biology and married the love of his life, Haley. Dr. Wentz attended dental school in San Antonio. He and his wife have a 75 lb. German Shepard and a one year old baby boy to their lives! If there is any alone time, Dr. Wentz enjoys running, snowboarding, reading, and all kinds of sports! He is beyond excited to start this new adventure at SHU Center for Orthodontics!
Born and raised in Drums, PA, she received her B.S. in Biomathematics and Biology from the University of Scranton with a minor in Psychology. Dr. Wessel received her D.M.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She enjoys traveling (pre-covid), hiking, and exploring new places/ restaurants around the world! A huge animal lover, she grew up with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and peacocks on the family farm back home.
Dr. Zwickel was born and raised in a small town north of Pittsburgh. She received her BS degree in Medical and Agricultural Biotechnology from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) and D.M.D. degree from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Florida. Morgan enjoys boating, biking, and spending time with her loved ones.
