Im a native Oregonian who attended South Salem High School. I obtained my undergraduate degree in General Science at Oregon State University. I went on to get my doctorate in Dentistry at OHSU School of Dentistry in 1985. I spent my two year Orthodontic residency at Indiana University earning my Orthodontic specialty degree. In addition, I earned my Masters of Science in Dentistry degree at Indiana University. As friendly as the Midwesterners were, I returned to live in my home state. I have lived in and around Lake Oswego since starting practice. My kids are now in their twenties and live and work in Portland. My wife and I recently moved to downtown Portland and enjoy living in the city.
I have tried to create a practice over the last 30 years that is professional but also has a friendly and personal feel to it. I have focused on regularly attending continuing education courses and keeping my practice progressive when it comes to research and technology so that my patients benefit from this. Our practice has many firsts in the Portland area which include digitally scanning patients to obtain models, 3D X-ray imaging, and now 3D printing to create an impressionless practice.

I have enjoyed working as the Practice/Financial Administrator formore than 16 years.I love helping our patients with their financial questions and getting the most out of their insurance benefits and flex plans. I have been married for more than 37years and have 7 wonderful grandchildren.In my time away from the office I love be with family, travel, cookand be in the garden.
I started as a clinical assistant for Dr. Sessions in June 2011 when I was fresh out of dental assisting school. This office of incredible people welcomed me warmly and made the process of my growing experience and knowledge so much fun. I enjoy getting to know everyone and helping each patient feel comfortable and excited about their treatment. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, hiking and boating- anything in the sun or with family makes me happy!
I have been part of the Sessions Orthodontics team for over 16 years. I began my orthodontic career as a clinical assistant and have transitioned into the position of Treatment Coordinator. I enjoy meeting with all new patients who may be needing future orthodontic care. It is my goal to make each individual who walks through our door feel welcome, comfortable and leave with a thorough knowledge of their recommended treatment. I have been married to my best friend for almost 18 years, and we have two beautiful children!Outside the office I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors with my family. My happy place is in the sun with my nose in a book.
As our financial administrator I welcome patients into the office and make sure all of their front office and financial needs are taken care of. One of my favorite things is meeting with all of our wonderful patients and their families and getting to know them. I have been with Sessions Orthodontics for over 10 years and absolutely love seeing our patients transformation from beginning to end. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have a wonderful son and two black labs. During my free time I enjoy running, spending time outdoors with family and friends and traveling to Mexico.
I have been at Dr. Sessions office since 2003 and support him with clinical and administrative patient care. Communicating with patients and parents regarding their treatment and providing the best experience possible is the most important part of my job. The best part of my job however, is seeing all those amazing smiles! I cannot imagine working for a better doctor than Dr. Sessions. In our free time my husband and I love trying new restaurants and riding our bikes around Portland.

All three of my kids have had two rounds of braces at Sessions Orthodontics. In every way, Dr. Sessions and his team have exceeded our expectations for professionalism, friendliness, and perfect outcomes. The facility is clean, bright, and comfortable (and often decorated for the holidays!) Absolutely everyone who works there is happy and helpful. Dr. Sessions himself is affable, fun, and accessible. He always has taken the time to explain treatments and options to us. We are so grateful to him and his entire staff for the experience and for our children's beautiful smiles. My Invisalign treatment that I got was easy and barley any pain. I love the fish in there entryway. Also it's neat that they put patent's first names in colorful bright font .

Dr. Sessions and all his staff are wonderful to work with. They are efficient, consistently kind and competent at what they do. Dr. Sessions goes above and beyond to show he cares about his patients. He explains things very well so you know exactly what they are accomplishing each visit. I always left happy to have found a great orthodontist. You won't regret it! Also a shoutout to Andrea. She is so good at what she does! I always felt in good hands with her.

Love Dr. Sessions and his great staff! They are friendly, caring, professional and efficient. They listen carefully and make sure I'm fully informed and engaged in my Invisaligns. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Sessions and the team! I started with another local orthodontist who was going to charge $2k more (messed up the billing/didn't understand my insurance), did not give me options, did not explain the process, and ended the intake appointment by trying to make me feel bad about my smile so he could sell me more work. Hard pass. I asked my dentist for a referral, and he hooked me up with Dr. Sessions. The team took time to understand my goals, to make sure I understood all the options, and to explain how things would go at every step of the process. They're also just incredibly friendly so appointments are always fun. I am very happy with the work and highly recommend to anyone who needs orthodontia!

I will be the 5th of 5 in my family to be treated by Dr Sessions. Most top scores are 5 stars, but Dr Sessions and his team really deserve 6 stars. They have mastered every tiny detail with the patient experience. They run an amazingly efficient office to save you time, and are so friendly and professional. They give me top confidence in my treatment plan.

Let me start off by saying I have never had one bad experience at Dr. Sessions office, everyone is always so kind and helpful (and understands early appointments are rough for teenagers). As a kid my teeth were extremely messed up and it was a combination of braces and teeth pulling that gave me the beautiful smile I have today. It's been almost 6 years since I got my braces off and moved out of town. I needed a new retainer and was in Portland for a few weeks, when I called they were lovely (as usual), fit me into the schedule the next day, and are even going to ship the new retainers to me in California. As I walked back into the office after so many years, I remembered this one morning I had an early appointment at 7am, and out of the office window there was a beautiful sunrise. Both my dad and Dr. Sessions were trying to get a picture of it but the glare from the window was ruining it. So Dr. Sessions had everyone stop what they were doing and turned off the lights in the office so everyone could get a good picture of the sunrise. There's something so lovely about going to places (especially like the orthodontist that is often dreaded) and seeing people genuinely happy to be working there and really making the office feel like a safe and fun place to be. If you are anywhere near the Portland/Lake Oswego area I would 1000% recommend going to Dr. Sessions for all of your orthodontic needs.
