Born in Altoona, PA, Dr. Servello is a graduate of Altoona Area High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University and was the recipient of an Air Force ROTC Pre-Health Scholarship. He continued his education at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree and graduating in the top 10 of his class. Dr. Servello was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilonhonor society and was the recipient of by The American of College of Dentists award for outstanding academic and clinical performance.
Upon graduating Dental School, Dr. Servello began service to his country in the U.S. Air Force at Travis Air Force Base, CA as a Dental Officer. While there, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. He then had the privilege to work at the Pentagon Tri-Service Dental Clinic as an Advanced Clinical Dentist. During his time there he was recognized as the Junior Clinical Dental Officer of the year for two consecutive years and awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Dr. Servello then went on to complete a two-year residency and earned a Certificate of Advanced Study of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics along with a Masters Degree in Oral Biology, from the Tri-Service Residency Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. During his residency program, his Masters thesis research was eventually published in a peer-reviewed journal.
Dr. Servello then had the pleasure to serve as the Chief of Orthodontics at Aviano Air Base Italy and then Scott Air Force Base, IL. His practice while in the Air Force encompassed the full range of adolescent and adult orthodontic treatment including a robust orthognathic surgery component. He was twiceawarded withthe Air Force Meritorious Medal for all of his hard work and dedication as an Air Force Orthodontist.
Passionate and dedicated to his profession and patients, Dr. Servello is active in many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, The Angle Orthodontist as a peer reviewer, The American Board of Orthodontics, and the 7th District of the PA Dental Association.
After 11 years of service in the U.S. Air Force; Dr. Servello, his wife Angela, and his children Alex, Amelia, and Francesca are thrilled to be back home in Central Pennsylvania. In his leisure time, he enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his Family.

Servello is THE place to go if you need an orthodontist. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere is very upbeat. It is WONDERFUL to see Dr. Servello at every visit and makes us feel like we are not just patients but friends. We haven't been patients for long but I am already extremely impressed!

Love this place! All the staff is so kind and friendly! It's so clean and bright. I waited Years ti have braces and they made me feel so comfortable. Explained each step with my braces and the financial end. HIGHLY recommend!
