With a unique blend of experience, technical expertise and a warm, compassionate approach, Dr. Serino has emerged as one of the finest orthodontic specialists in the area. He has treated many children, spouses, family members and staff of the area dentists and dental hygienists. His personal concern for each patient has brought accolades from patients, parents and his dental colleagues.
Dr. Serino is originally from Easton and attended Saints Peter and Paul High School. After graduating from dental school with honors, he joined the practice of Dr. Neil Brayton in Chestertown and practiced general dentistry for over two years before returning to the University of Maryland to complete an additional three years of intensive, full-time training in the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
As a specialist in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Serino has been featured on multiple occasions in health publications and has spoken internationally on the topic of orthodontics. He is the preferred provider of braces, Invisalign, and other services in the Centreville, Chestertown, Easton, and Cambridge county areas.
His experience gained as a general dentist before becoming a specialist in orthodontics is something that is a great benefit to his patients. He is capable of not only treating the most complicated orthodontic problems, but is also experienced in the diagnosis and recommended treatment of all dental problems that a patient may have when presenting for orthodontic treatment.
Dr. Serino focuses on the team approach to patient care by including the patient or parent and the general dentist in many of the treatment decisions. This is particularly critical in the treatment of adults or adolescent patients that may require cosmetic dentistry in conjunction with orthodontics.
Dr. Serino is married with two children. His wife, Dr. Sharon Liu, is a local GYN. His hobbiesinclude golf, competitive swimming, and spending time on the bay. He is a huge Maryland Terps fan and loves college basketball and football.

I have been an assistant for over 22 years. I am a certified orthodontic assistant as well as certified in general dentistry assisting. I enjoy working with our patients and seeing their excitement when they have their braces removed.
I have been a dental assistant for over 10 years with experience in orthodontics, periodontal surgery and general dentistry. I completed my certified dental assistant program at Chesapeake College and my Certified Orthodontic assisting through the Maryland Board of Dental Examiners approved Trapezio Program. I graduated from Queen Annes County High School. I am married with a daughter. My favorite aspect of my job is interacting with all the patients and sharing their great smile with them when they complete treatment.
I have been an orthodontic assistant for over 18 years. I am certified in orthodontics and general dentistry assisting. I was a previous patient of Dr. Serinos and can give true insight into the quality work he delivers and his great care for his patients. Dr. Serino is excellent at communicating and explaining all of your treatment options. I have a son that attends Easton High School that Dr. Serino also treated and he is always receiving compliments on his beautiful smile. I enjoy exercising and spending time outdoors in my spare time.
Hi, my name is Ana and I am from El Salvador. In El Salvador, I studied dentistry at the University of El Salvador Alberto Masferrer including a year of social service in the public health unit and graduated from the university in 2012. I worked as a dentist with adults and children in the public health unit and private clinic from 2012 to 2015. I am an active member of the Adventist Church and enjoy camping with other members of the church community. I enjoy my career in dentistry very much and look forward to helping others.

I have been going to Serino Orthodontics since middle school with Dr. Serino being my orthodontist for all these years. I have become very close with Dr. Serino himself and his family as well. I am always welcomed in the office whenever I go and am always very impressed with how everything is ran. I had my teeth botched by a previous orthodontist and Dr. Serino completely fixed them. He worked around my very busy schedule with invisalign and braces, and makes sure all of his customers are safe during covid. Him and his staff are all super friendly and caring -- I could not recommend enough!

Dr. Serino has been excellent at his craft for many years. He was my orthodontist when I was in High School and he couldn't have been better. He's very personable, relatable and just overall fun. His sense of humor is great and also helps with any nervousness you may feel at the thought of getting braces. This is great for younger kids and even adults. He is easy to talk to and listens to all of your concerns. Trust is the key! And if you want an orthodontist that cares for their patients and takes their job seriously, Dr. Serino is that person! If you have been putting off getting braces, please treat yourself, the confidence a straight smile brings is priceless and if you are super self conscious picturing yourself with braces, which you do NOT need to be now is also a good time since we are unfortunately stuck wearing masks. The best choice I made was becoming part of Serinos Smiles, Dr. Serino is friendly, funny and family oriented. Come and join the family. My nephew will be next.
