Dr. Gauthier received both his Master of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees from the New York University College of Dentistry. Prior to joining the prestigious New York school, he completed his dental studies at the State University of Haiti - School of Odontology where he graduated with honors in 1999. He is known to his beloved patients as Dr. G for his commitment to use his Gods given talents to bring bright, happy and hopeful smiles to all. He has demonstrated this dedication by serving others both in his local home town of Charleston, SC as a member of the Charleston Church of Christ, and through frequent travels to his native homeland of Haiti to take part in medical and dental service trips in remote and rural areas within Haiti. Dr. G lives in Summerville with his wife Jessie and two sons, Alec and Dylen. Dr. Gauthier is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an affiliate faculty in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.
Hi yall, Im Jennifer. I am originally from the Philippines, I grew up in Hawaii, Connecticut, and finally settled in Goose Creek in 1985, where my father was stationed at the Coast Guard Base in downtown Charleston. I earned my Associates Degree in dental hygiene from Trident technical College in 1992. I started working here in 2001 with Dr. Bobby Gore until he retired. I enjoy working with Dr. Gauthier as we strive to always make sure our patients receive our undivided attention when it comes to their individual dental care. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this dental family and the Goose Creek community as a whole. Outside of work, I truly enjoy spending time with my family, my husband of 16 years, and our bullmastiff Bella. I am a gymaholic and avid sports fan, and when we are able, we both enjoy being out on the water fishing or just riding around Charlestons waterways.

Never thought I'd ever say this, but I love going to the dentist! I drive all the way from Sullivan's Island to see Dr. G and his staff, because they are the absolute best. Think about the number of razzmatazz east cooper dental practices I have to drive past on my way to get here- I'll choose unrivaled expertise and genuine compassion over a complimentary paraffin hand wax every time. Dr. G is the first dentist I've ever been loyal to since I was a kid- He and his staff are lovely people and they've earned my trust.

I had a wonderful experience with the entire team. The front desk was welcoming, Erica was calming, and Doc was reassuring. If I stay in the area, I will be a long-term patient. The office is very clean and spacious. Plus they had America's Funniest Home Videos on the TV, what's not to love?

Hands down Dr G is the most professional & courteous dental provider in the area. I always dread my annual X-rays but Jennifer makes it quick and comfortable. I Love the new location too. If you're looking for a pleasant & knowledgeable staff who do their best to accommodate you look no further!

Very shady business, save your coins !!! Went to have all four of my wisdom teeth pulled so I could get my braces on after I healed . They couldn't get all four for some reason, so they only removed three . Went to my appointment & was told they left a small portion of a tooth sitting in the back of my mouth that needs to be pulled before it starts causing problems to my other teeth . They're trying to bill me for almost $300, but they make you pay the difference insurance doesn't pay after your procedure is done . Not to mention 3 other family members that also used them are now having issues with them as well . Not worth it
