Our primary goal is to help you maintain your natural teeth and smile for as long as possible. Routine exams and cleanings are at the core of our preventative care and allow us to diagnose any dental problems early on, when treating them is less costly and time consuming. If you are not happy with your natural smile, well discuss the aspects you would like to change and develop a plan to give you the smile you have always desired. For those patients suffering from dental pain, we understand the discomfort you are in, and were often able to diagnose and complete the necessary treatment the same day. Regardless if its your first time in our office or you have been coming to us for several years, you can be assured we will develop an individualized dental treatment plan with your values and desires in mind.
Dr. Kathleen OConnor has been in private practice for over twenty years. She received a B.S. degree in Biology from Georgetown University in 1983 and her doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 1987. Dr. OConnor attends continuing education courses on a regular basis, keeping current with the latest techniques in modern dentistry.
Dr. OConnor and her husband, Dr. Ronald Kohlbrand, have two sons and have lived in the area since 1995. When not at the office she enjoys tennis, traveling and spending time outside with her two dogs.
Lori started her dental career while still in high school, working for a now retired orthodontist. She received her expanded functions and radiology certificates from the University of Fl. Over the past 20 years she has gained extensive experience in both assisting and front office duties. Her primary role for the past 10 years has been providing administrative support, where she has finally found her true passion in dentistry.
Lori has attended numerous continuing education courses to stay current with the changes in dental benefits and she works hard to help our patients understand their dental policies and get the dental benefits they are entitled to.
She enjoys building relationships with every patient, new or existing, she comes in contact with. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband of twenty years and two boys. She enjoys traveling and spending time outside, especially at Universal Orlando.
Kristen has been a licensed hygienist for 15 years in Brevard County, and has been in the area since 1992. Kristen graduated from the dental hygiene program at Brevard Community College in 1995. Prior to that she worked as a dental assistant. She has been with Dr. OConnor for 8 years. She loves the calm relaxing atmosphere the office holds for all our patients Which makes it a great practice to be part of.
Evylissa was born and raised in Lajas, Puerto Rico. In 2000, she moved to Germany where she received her dental assistant training and became a pediatric dental assistant with the Department of Defense. Since the day she realized that she could change peoples lives by just changing their smile, dentistry became her passion.
Candace was born in Orlando and raised in West Palm Beach. In less than 3 years with Dr. OConnor, she has become an expanded function dental assistant after attending the Assisting Institute in Pinellas Park.

My family and I have been seeing Dr O'Conner and staff for over 20yrs! One and only dentist I've needed since moving to the area. I've moved several times over the years and will drive as far as required to stay with Serenity Dental. Professional, polite, informative, reliable, responsible, refers excellent specialists and reminds me of appointments. Couldn't ask for better service....and don't, because there's no need.

Serenity Family Dentistry's name is very fitting. I never thought I would say this about a dental office but it's very calming and I no longer have anxiety. Went in for my six-month cleaning and check up, and was again very pleased with my hygienist Kim and Dr O'Conner. I have sensitive gums and Kim always ensures that I'm pre-treated with a topical that renders the cleaning pain free. Dr O'Conner gave me a good report too, so I'm good for another six months. All of the office staff are professional and very personable.

Great experience!! A+ service. This was my first visit at this dental office and I chose it over the others in the Rockledge area because of the reviews I read. From this experience, they were accurate. Carol is the receptionist. She was professional, polite, friendly, honest and thorough. The persona over the phone matched the face to face person. When my exam was over, the price she quoted was the price I paid. She advised me on future exams and let me make the decisions on what I wanted to schedule with no pressure. This is what you expect from "the face of the business". Candy is the Technician, again I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly personality. She completed the intake and conducted the x-ray portion of the appointment. Candy was thorough, gentle and quickly explained each step. Dental x-rays are uncomfortable and Candy worked hard to try to make this portion as painless and she could by working fast and being gentle. She was great. Dr. O'Connor came in to evaluate and examine my teeth and mouth. Again, professional, friendly and thorough. She advised me on future appointments, explained what would happen during this appointment and answered any questions that I had. As this was my inital appointment and cleaning, this was my only interaction with Dr. O'Connor and again, she was just great. Ms. Kim is the hygienist. She conducted my cleaning and again was another top notch professional. I've been having my teeth cleaned on a regular basis for decades and she is one of the gentlest hygienists Ive ever had. She took her time, was very thorough, very gentle but, not slow. She also provided tips on dental hygiene and explained her work along the way. A+ The facilities are clean, bright and smells nice. The location is easily accessible. So far, I would highly recommend this team. If you are paying for a service you may as pay the best and so far, they meet that criteria. I highly recommend them. A+
