Dr. Li has been practicing dentistry since she graduated from dental school in China in 1996. She worked as a general dentist for four years in a community hospital before moving to U.S. At Buffalo, New York, she spent nine years on research and clinical study. She received intensive training on comprehensive dental treatment involving patient education, oral disease diagnosis, esthetic and functional teeth restorations. Her research has been published on oral biology research journals and presented at national and international conferences. After graduation in 2009, Dr. Li pursued her career in private and pediatric dental practice where she gains extensive experience on children and family dentistry. She loves seeing children at various ages from infants to teenages. She enjoys educating and helping them to establish a healthy oral habit at young age. Dr. Li is well respected by colleagues because of her fine skills and dedication to patient's care. Dr. Li takes numerous continuing education course to keep her updated with the newest technology in dental field.She names her practice Serenity Family Dental after her English name Serene. Her goal is to create a peaceful, relaxing dental environment and strive to make your dental visit a pleasant experience.

Dr. Li is terrific and has been the dentist for our whole family for years. Recently my husband had a really bad toothache, he could not eat nor sleep for days, and Dr. Li was able to fit him in her busy schedule to operate on him very soon, and the operation made huge difference in the quality of our daily life. We truly appreciate Dr. Li's kindness and skill!

Wish I could give negative stars. This "dr" was extremely rude and humiliated my wife. She should not be in business. Stay away from this place. reply to owner - Correct place. We have moved on and was not looking for a reply to our review. The review was for potential clients. We have had enough interaction with your establishment.

Had to give a one star because I can't give any. The place is nice the staff in the front is nice. Now I can't say the same for the Dr. She is rude. I had a deep cleaning to do she didn't tell me that they were going to numb my mouth. When I noticed she already had the needle going into my mouth. Then she didn't even waited for my mouth to get numb and she started working on my teeth. The pain was so hard and I started to move and she said stop moving around and kept going. I couldn't take the pain so she decided to put more numbing medicine. I kept trying to close my mouth because the medication hadn't kick in and she had started working on my teeth again so she had to keep pulling my mouth open and she said I am tired of holding your mouth open. So rude!! When everything was done she just told me rinse there. Then she just stood there didn't tell me anything else she said your done you can go. I had to ask the girl in the front is there anything I need to do at home and she said they didn't give you paper work back there!. The Dr. didn't explain to me to take medicine for the pain, what to eat or not eat or any instructions for after the procedure. Very unprofessional. I have another appointment in June will not be going back will be going elsewhere. I do not recommend.

Dr. Li is my favorite dentist. She has done such a great job to keep my teeth healthy. She is gentle and detail-oriented. She has helped me a lot on overcoming my dental fear to the dentist, especially the needle part. I can tell she is professional with good experience on handling patients. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family!

I recently visited Dr Li office twice, with one for cleaning and the other for a cavity filling. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Dr. Li and her staff. Due to the pandemic, I haven't visited my former dentist for about 2 years, and like to go to a dentist somewhere around. Dr Li is very considerate, and told me clearly what she is going to do, and what I will expect. The last, but definitely not the least, she did a fabulous job on filling my cavity and a broken previous filling. my fixed teeth look perfectly same adjacent to other teeth, and I do not feel anything uncomfortable, and feel so natural. I highly recommend Dr Li with a five star.

I don't know them very well because I am not a patient there but I had to go there because of my new dental insurance didn't give me many options. So, I am doing this review is for this specific visit at this dental office. FTY: This is not a full review of the practice or the doctor's performance. However, since I have to come back soon to get my work done, I will edit an update this review in the next few weeks.

I recently had to get a new dentist & I was really worried about finding another really nice dentist since I loved mine so much but they stopped taking my insurance. When I walked into the waiting room I was immediately greeted & was taken back right away. Everyone here was so sweet & very respectful. I'm very excited about going back!! Definitely worth the drive too!

My husband and I never got the chance to go to Dr Li office. We both served in the United States Air Force and currently work on base. We had to reschedule appointments due to our work. We called to schedule appointments today and received a call from the front desk person that we could not ever be seen, because of cancellations. We always called a couple days prior to the appointments. We respect ourselves therefore we respect others. The front desk person has always been very professional and kind over the phone. However, my husband and I will not say the same for Dr. Li. This kind of arrogance Dr. Li displays, we are glad not to be patients with this office.We will never recommend anyone to this dental practice.

Dr Li she really honest and always to listen and explain what the best option for me. She does an excellent and professional job to take care my tooth. The best dentist office ever since I live in Columbia, MD. I would strongly recommend to all of my friends!

We moved from PA to MD about five years ago and have been going to Serenity ever since. Nice, clean place and always welcoming. Dr Li is one of the nicest people we have ever met. She is professional, friendly, always accommodating to our needs and willing to work around our busy schedule. Very happy with her services. Highly recommended!

Both my kids and I go to see Dr Li. She is very professional and honest. She takes time and explains my condition and discusses the options with me in details.She did awesome job on my tooth filling jobs. She is patient with kids too, both of my kids love her!

Dr. Li is super nice and professional. I did Invisallign and also do routine check ups and cleaning there. I am very happy with the services. The office is also very kid friendly.

Nicest staff around!! My dad is a dentist in Idaho so I am critical of dentist but the staff here is on point and the doctor li and staff has you in the chair and back to life very quickly. I am very impressed!!!
