I had been going to Dr. Egan since I was a kid. When I was 19 I went in to have the bonding replaced on my front tooth which I had chipped when I was younger. He put full veneers on BOTH front teeth (only one was chipped & had the bonding) without me really understanding what the procedure was. I didn't know they'd be shaving my teeth down to nubs or that they'd have to be replaced approximately every 10 years or what it would cost. I didn't know I'd never be able to whiten my teeth with them on. I would have never gotten them. They also had a rough edge near the gum line that recently began making my gums recede. I go in last year for a cleaning and ask for a price sheet to have the veneers replaced because one day I would like to whiten my teeth. They do xrays and then spend a long time out of the room (40 minutes) and finally come back with the price, but they have news! The 2 other incisors have cavities and will need to be replaced with veneers as well, bringing the total to $4k+. They say my insurance will cover a majority of it, leaving my price at around $1.5k. They give me paperwork with these figures. I tell them I have to wait to get that kind of money. I later find out they BILLED my insurance saying this work was done - and insurance was only going to pay $400 of the $4k+. I tell insurance they absolutely did not do this procedure and they thankfully deal with them to get their money back as they have already paid the dentist out. At this point I'm mad. I'm mad I even have veneers on my front teeth. I don't believe I have cavities on the other 2. I go to my cousin's practice in the city (she's a hygienist) get x-rays, and the cavities on my other 2 incisors are magically gone. What a scam. You were going to shave down my other 2 teeth for what? For a measly $4k but a lifetime of upkeep and issues on my end? Never again.

Very friendly staff. Dr Egan is one of the best dentist in the area. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients leave the office with a big smile. Also Mary is my favorite dental hygienist. I highly recommend this beautiful dental office.

Serenity Dentistry, is in the heart of the Tinley Park, It's a beautiful, classy office, with high quality service and an incredibly friendly staff. Not only is the staff friendly, but they're also very knowledgeable, and make patients feel like they're at home. Dr. Michael Egan is an amazing doctor! He makes me feel comfortable and safe, even though I hate going to the dentist! He makes sure that I know what is going on with my treatments and teaches me how to take better care of my teeth. If you're looking for a safe and friendly dental office, this is definitely the place to go! I highly recommend coming here, the service is truly amazing and I always recommend my friends and family to come here! All the doctors here provide nothing but the highest quality of work and care, and they always make me look forward to my next dental visit!

Very friendly staff. Dr Egan is one of the best dentist in the area. He goes above and beyond to make sure his patients leave the office with a big smile. Also Mary is my favorite dental hygienist. I highly recommend this beautiful dental office.

I asked for copies of documents I signed twice and they still have not provided them to me. said work to be done for my husband was for one side of mouth and began working on the other side. then took another 3D image of his mouth to charge more money again on top of what I agreed to. office has gone downhill

The minute you walk through the doors of Serenity Dentistry, you immediately feel so welcomed. It's a beautiful office with the most friendly staff I've ever met! Dr. Michael Egan delivers high quality work and always has me leaving be office with a beautiful smile! I've gone to many dental offices in the past and none of them compare to Serenity Dentistry. They have completely transformed my smile, and I love coming here for all my treatments, cleanings, and teeth whitening! They always make me look forward to my next appointment!
