With a background rich in Asian culture, Dr. Cao has applied the art of Feng-Shui to help make one feel calm, relaxed and peaceful. Upon entering the door, you will find yourself in a fine, ultra-comfortable day spa. An office coordinator will greet you with a warm, friendly hello and offer you drinks and snacks from our refreshment center. You will unwind your mind and body in our comfortable leather chairs in the Guest Lounge. You will relax in a serene atmosphere with the sound of cascading waters, soothing music, and essential oil aromatherapy, all while surrounded by elegant and tranquil dcor. Once inside the treatment room, you will be seated in the ultra-soft & comfortable dental chair enjoying the peaceful ceiling art. Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available to provide an anxiety-free environment.

At Serenity Dental Spa, you will also find yourself in a brand new, state-of-the-art and eco-friendly dental facility. The practice is 100% computerized. Advanced digital imaging (x-rays) is used that reduces patient radiation by up to 90%. Each treatment room is computerized and an intraoral camera is used that helps patients understand their oral health needs. All dental equipment is new and state-of-the-art. Our sterilization center helps provide the highest level of sterility and cleanliness. In addition, our office is equipped to handle medical emergencies to an extent that exceeds all state requirements.

Dr. Dao Cao,the creator and owner of Serenity Dental Spa, has been practicing dentistry for over twenty years in both the private and hospital settings. Dr. Cao graduated Cum-Laude from Jersey City State College in 1995 with a double major in Chemistry and Biology. Dr. Cao attended New York University, College of Dentistry, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1999.

She then continued her post-doctorate training with a General Practice Residency Program at Jersey City Medical Center. During this time, she received extensive training in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry as well as in the treatment of medically compromised patients.

Dr. Cao resides in Lafayette, NJ with her husband Kurt and two sons, Vincent and Anthony. Dr. Cao enjoys volunteering her time to promote oral healthcare and participating in career day at local schools.

Dr. Patel attended Lafayette College where he received a BS degree in Biochemistry in 2012. He graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly UMDNJ) with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2016. While at Rutgers, Dr. Patel was a peer tutor in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry and was a part of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.

Dr. Patel completed post-doctorate training at St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in general practice dentistry. While in residency, Dr. Patel received training in all aspects of dentistry including treating medically complex patients, implant dentistry, and dental emergencies. Dr. Patel is also a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Murphy graduated from Monmouth University where she received a BA degree in Psychology in 2014. Dr. Murphy attended Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2018 where she received the Stanley S. Bergen Medal of Excellence. During her time at Rutgers, Dr. Murphy was a peer tutor for clinical dentistry and was a part of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society.

Dr. Murphy went on to complete post-doctorate training with a General Practice Residency at St. Josephs Regional Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. During this time she received training in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry, including treatment of dental emergencies and medically complex patients. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Marmora graduated summa cum laude from St. Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in biology in 2013. Dr. Marmora attended West Virginia School of Dentistry, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2018. He then continued his post-doctorate training with a General Practice Residency Program at St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. During this time, Dr. Marmora received extensive training in all aspects of comprehensive dentistry as well as the treating of medically compromised patients.
