Thats our mission, says Dr. Nilash Patel, and why my brother and I named our comprehensive dental practice Serenity Dental. We have practiced dentistry in the Lutz-Land OLakes area since 2004. Because many patients are apprehensive about dentistry, we are forthright with information, kind and understanding. We strive to make dentistry affordable and abide by the golden rule. Your safety, comfort, and concerns will be our priorities as we partner with you to discover your oral health goals and attain them.
When brothers Nilash and Nitash Patel decided to open a practice together in 2004, their goal was to provide compassionate, comprehensive dental care at affordable prices. Their patient-first philosophy meant working with patients in partnership with them, and getting to know patients as individuals, putting patients at ease and addressing their concerns. We set up an office with calming lake views and flat-screen TVs in every examination room, and we developed an exceptionally service minded and friendly team.
The Patel brothers believe a trip to the dentist should not automatically evoke apprehension. Thats why they decided to name their practice Serenity Dental. The name reflects their commitment to do everything possible to put every patient completely at ease. They are also concerned about access to quality care and strive to make dentistry affordable.
Both individuals and families feel at home here. All ages are welcome. Drs. Nilash and Nitash Patel avidly pursue ongoing education and are passionate about discovering new and improved dental methods and materials. Their advanced training, technology and expertise have enabled them to not only provide the full range of dental services in their office, but also become a teaching center for other dentists to learn dental implant placement and restoration.
Drs. Nilash and Nitash Patel were born in London, England, and settled in Tampa as boys when their parents moved to Florida in 1979. The Patel brothers both chose to become cosmetic and family dentists, and both wanted to practice their profession in their adopted hometown, the Tampa Bay area. Together, in 2004, they opened Serenity Dentals first office in South Central Pasco County, near the bustling commercial intersection of State Road 54 and Collier Parkway in Land OLakes (serving Lutz, Odessa, Trinity, and beyond).
They since have expanded their services throughout Pasco County, with additional offices in Wesley Chapel (serving New Tampa) and Zephyrhills (serving Dade City, Lakeland, and San Antonio). They chose the name Serenity Dental to convey their compassionate approach to the dental arts, which is a commitment to confront the natural anxiety people experience when they visit dentists. They are dedicated to doing everything possible to put patients at ease regardless of the procedure.
Its always been important to the Patel brothers that they really get to know their patients and vice versa. For instance, both doctors have given back by volunteering to perform dental work in disaster-stricken regions such as Haiti and Guatemala, a practice they plan to continue whenever and wherever the need arises.
Dr. Nilash S. Patel graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelors degree in science and a masters degree in Public Healthfrom the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is certified in orthodontics and Invisalign, with an emphasis cosmetic orthodontics for adults and late teenagers. He continues to take advanced dental courses on a regular basis in order to remain updated on the latest innovations in the profession, including facial esthetics.
Dr. Nitash S. Patel also graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelors degree in biology (with a minor in chemistry) in three years from the University of Miami. His prosthodontics fellowship at the University of Florida focused on complex cases, including full-mouth reconstructions, implant-related restorations, prosthetic treatment for cancer patients, correction of cleft palates, and complex cosmetic makeovers. He continues to enjoy the challenge of working on full-mouth reconstruction cases for his patients, but he is equally committed to comprehensive cosmetic and general dental care for the entire family. Dr. Nitash Patel has considerable expertise and experience in dental implant placement and restoration. He teaches implant procedures to other dentists in The Implant Institute of Tampa, located in our Lutz/Land OLakes office.

I've been a patient here for over a decade but had a less than stellar experience today. I called the dentist office to ask for the cash rate, told them I had no insurance and was paying cash, and to update my name after my divorce. They forced me to do x-rays when I only wanted a cleaning, but I get they have to make extra money off of you somehow. In between my x-rays and cleaning they mention that I have insurance and this is the rate. I told them vehemently no, I do not have insurance. They were trying to put me on my ex-husband's insurance even after I called and specified that all of my information had changed. It was extremely upsetting. I got sick to my stomach and felt a tightness in my chest like I was going to have a panic attack. I got through my cleaning but I may not go back. Their staff clearly didn't read the notes in my account or care to make sure they had everything correct. Deeply disappointed in my experience.

1st of all I did an online appointment and they got back to me 1st thing in the morning, I was impressed. Once my paperwork was complete they turned me over to Jamie To get me prepared for the screening. She was very professional and easy to talk to. Dr. Patel is wonderful I would highly recommend him. However the dental hygienist could be more personable. Ask how is your day or so small talk thru the cleaning. The front desk could smile a little more and great you like you are welcome in the office and make you feel at home.

Serenity Dental was able to accept me as a new patient and get me in quickly for a dental issue that couldn't wait. I have been looking for a good dentist since moving to Florida five years ago. Finally found Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel and his entire staff were amazing. Very kind, gentle, and professional. I have been a patient at Serenity Dental for several years, they continue to impress me. They have two locations, one in Wesley Chapel, the other in Lutz - Land O' Lakes. The office is modern, bright and clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My dental hygienist, took her time, explained what she would be doing, asked if I had any questions and set expectations for my next visit. Would definitely recommend Serenity Dental to friends and family.

I had a Crown fall out and I have never been to Serenity Dental before, but when I called, they got me in and took care of me like I have been a patient of theirs. I was so happy with the care and treatment that I scheduled an appointment for next week to have them do a full exam and x-rays. They are my new dentist of choice.

I've been under the care of Serenity dental almost 20 years. Dr. Patel and his staffs are very professional and helpful throughout my treatments including while I was going through chemotherapy.

I had an appointment for check up and cleaning for Monday only to get a call today(Friday), that because I didn't follow the dental assistants "instruction's" to see her referred periodontist she would not perform the cleaning. Seems like the technicians make the decisions on who should be the patient at this doctors office. By the way the only reason there are so many five star reviews is because the practice gives out a big screen TV for the best review every quarter.

Dr Patel got me in the same day as a new pt for a second opinion. He was very kind and took his time, explaining the issues and possible treatments. Also very affordable. I will be switching to his office for primary dentistry. Highly recommend!

Terrible experience. Serenity's hygienists = great. Temporary Hygienist = terrible. Maggie got a TEMPORARY (TEMP). She was rough, careless causing lots of unnecessary pain... this was really terrible. I was there to witness... this is Carlos, the husband!

It took me years to find a good dentist after moving to Florida. Dr. Patel came highly recommended by a colleague and I have been loyal to his practice for 7 years. When j first came to his practice I had a failed root canal from a prior general dentist and Dr. Patel was great at helping me find a specialist to fix the root canal, saved my existing crown, and was wonderful! I just had my 6 month cleaning with Alexis. One of the best hygienists I've ever seen. Highly recommend her. She was kind, answered all of my questions, and made me feel truly cared for and comfortable. I will definitely be back for my next cleaning with Alexis.

Very friendly staff and Doctor. Great location Office is very nice and super clean. I (in the past) hated going to the dentist but at Serenty Dental I have yet to feel uncomfortable. All and all great experience!!
