Dr. Sterett and his wife Jennifer have one daughter and three sons. When not in the office, he enjoys taking his family bike riding along the Savannah River, kayaking, water-skiing, and spending time with other hobbies such as hunting, woodworking, playing guitar and violin, camping and backpacking. They are members of the Alleluia Community and active parishioners at St. Josephs Catholic Church.
Service to others is one of the most fulfilling parts of life for Dr. Sterett. Growing up as the oldest of eight children often placed him in a role of caring for others, as well as providing some of his first opportunities for dental practice. His brothers might have some stories to tell
After achieving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Medical College of Georgia, he worked as a registered nurse in the ICU at the V.A. Medical Center. Later he was accepted at the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry where he completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in May 2009.
Dr. Sterett understands that spending time with patients is critically important. His focus is patient education along with understanding your dental health concerns and needs. Diagnosing, improving, and preserving oral health are Dr. Steretts priority.

My experience at this dental office was amazing. I had an emergency visit due to some broken/decaying teeth. I was absolutely terrified to visit a dentist because of past experiences with different providers. Ms Regina and Dr Sterett had such calming demeanors and educated me on exactly what was taking place during my two extractions. I would definitely recommend their services for any of your dental needs.

By far the best dental clinic my family has ever been to! The staff is amazing and makes you feel welcome and like family! The dentist is the sweetest and thoroughly explains the process of everything he plans on doing! They make going to the dentist a pleasant experience every single time!

Ashley, the dental hygienist was wonderful cleaning the teeth of my 4 and 2 year old sons. Very patient and took time to explain the process to them. Thankful for a wonderful dental office !

I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the dentist was quite informative. I liked that he spoke and explained dental things as he examined my teeth and he cracked a few jokes which helped to break the ice and calm my nerves . He has a great bedside manner.

Ashley the hygienist is the best!! She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. I have been going there 4 years. She also will educate you about how to brush your teeth and the best brushes to buy!! Good job Ashley!!!!!

I don't like the Dentist, but everytime I have a appointment They make me feel comfortable. If you looking for again to his Serenity dental is the place to go.

I went for treatment of an abscess tooth. I just thought I would be given the exam and scheduled for an extraction. Earliest appointment for an extraction was over a month away. They said they would put me on the cancellation list. Dentist came in and said a month was too long to go. He said I could try an oral surgeon to get it out sooner but that would cost me more money. He then decided to make time in his busy schedule to pull it right then and there. The office worked with me regarding payment because I didn't have the money to pay for the deductible today. It was nice to find a dentist who puts a patient's health first. My former dentist office had told me to come back when I had the money.
