Thats our mission, says Dr. Nilash Patel, and why my brother and I named our comprehensive dental practice Serenity Dental. We have practiced dentistry in the Lutz-Land OLakes area since 2004. Because many patients are apprehensive about dentistry, we are forthright with information, kind and understanding. We strive to make dentistry affordable and abide by the golden rule. Your safety, comfort, and concerns will be our priorities as we partner with you to discover your oral health goals and attain them.
When brothers Nilash and Nitash Patel decided to open a practice together in 2004, their goal was to provide compassionate, comprehensive dental care at affordable prices. Their patient-first philosophy meant working with patients in partnership with them, and getting to know patients as individuals, putting patients at ease and addressing their concerns. We set up an office with calming lake views and flat-screen TVs in every examination room, and we developed an exceptionally service minded and friendly team.
The Patel brothers believe a trip to the dentist should not automatically evoke apprehension. Thats why they decided to name their practice Serenity Dental. The name reflects their commitment to do everything possible to put every patient completely at ease. They are also concerned about access to quality care and strive to make dentistry affordable.
Both individuals and families feel at home here. All ages are welcome. Drs. Nilash and Nitash Patel avidly pursue ongoing education and are passionate about discovering new and improved dental methods and materials. Their advanced training, technology and expertise have enabled them to not only provide the full range of dental services in their office, but also become a teaching center for other dentists to learn dental implant placement and restoration.
Drs. Nilash and Nitash Patel were born in London, England, and settled in Tampa as boys when their parents moved to Florida in 1979. The Patel brothers both chose to become cosmetic and family dentists, and both wanted to practice their profession in their adopted hometown, the Tampa Bay area. Together, in 2004, they opened Serenity Dentals first office in South Central Pasco County, near the bustling commercial intersection of State Road 54 and Collier Parkway in Land OLakes (serving Lutz, Odessa, Trinity, and beyond).
They since have expanded their services throughout Pasco County, with additional offices in Wesley Chapel (serving New Tampa) and Zephyrhills (serving Dade City, Lakeland, and San Antonio). They chose the name Serenity Dental to convey their compassionate approach to the dental arts, which is a commitment to confront the natural anxiety people experience when they visit dentists. They are dedicated to doing everything possible to put patients at ease regardless of the procedure.
Its always been important to the Patel brothers that they really get to know their patients and vice versa. For instance, both doctors have given back by volunteering to perform dental work in disaster-stricken regions such as Haiti and Guatemala, a practice they plan to continue whenever and wherever the need arises.
Dr. Nilash S. Patel graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelors degree in science and a masters degree in Public Healthfrom the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is certified in orthodontics and Invisalign, with an emphasis cosmetic orthodontics for adults and late teenagers. He continues to take advanced dental courses on a regular basis in order to remain updated on the latest innovations in the profession, including facial esthetics.
Dr. Nitash S. Patel also graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry after earning a bachelors degree in biology (with a minor in chemistry) in three years from the University of Miami. His prosthodontics fellowship at the University of Florida focused on complex cases, including full-mouth reconstructions, implant-related restorations, prosthetic treatment for cancer patients, correction of cleft palates, and complex cosmetic makeovers. He continues to enjoy the challenge of working on full-mouth reconstruction cases for his patients, but he is equally committed to comprehensive cosmetic and general dental care for the entire family. Dr. Nitash Patel has considerable expertise and experience in dental implant placement and restoration. He teaches implant procedures to other dentists in The Implant Institute of Tampa, located in our Lutz/Land OLakes office.

The staff that worked 10/7/22 rocked from the receptionist to the hygienist, x ray tech and dentist. Everyone was super nice and professional. It was giving Publix and chil fil a vibes!

I wish I could rate them a 10! The staff is absolutely amazing. They were the best dental crew I have ever dealt with. It started off with my sons tooth hurting and not being able to get seen by his prior dentist. They kept canceling his appointments then when I would try to reschedule it was months out. I gave up and we found Serenity dental. We called and he was scheduled same week!!!!!!! Best choice ever that I got my daughter seen , then my self today. Dr. Patel and his whole entire crew from the front desk lovely's to the back were top notch. Our mouths look and feel great. Thank you to the whole staff!! I will be referring my clients and friends to you all!!

I have been a patient here since 2018! Now I have my children going here as well. Everyone is so amazing and caring, customer service is also the best. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

I was scheduled for an appointment at 4. I confirmed with all the emails and text messages. I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate. At 2pm they called that patients cancelled so they could only accommodate me if I left my job at that moment to come in. It was not my fault that patients cancelled. I highly recommend you do not go there. They do not care about their patients. Not everyone can just screw over their clientele by leaving. My job would fire me on the spot if I did that.

3/25/22. I was really nervous before a 16 tooth extraction. I was made feel comfortable immediately and the pain was nearly non existent. Serenity Dental and staff are true professionals.

It was my first visit, and I am very pleased with the whole experience. All staff is very professional, polite, there were no delays. There was an opening for dental cleaning, which exceeded my expectations. In my last dental office I always ended with irritated gums and pain. Hygienist in this office was very gentle, but thorough. I should have come here much sooner.

I'm a new patient at Serenity Dental and I am very pleased with my visit. Dr Patel is easy to talk to and explains procedures. They did a full set of x-rays, digital scanning and cleaning all in one visit! I highly recommend Dr Patel and Serenity Dental!

Been going to this dentist for almost 10 years and will not return based on the office staff. Called to say I would be 10 minutes late and was told no problem see you when you get here thanks for calling. I showed up 13 minutes late and was told they only have a 10 minute grace period. I fully respect the time of the dentist and hygienist, but when I asked why not tell me that when I called the office staff simply said we can get you in two hours from now. I said I am not able to wait and their response was okay.
