Dr. Lubomir Serafimov is a 1991 graduate of the Medical University, School of Dentistry Sofia in Bulgaria. For over a decade, Dr. Serafimov enjoyed a thriving practice in Bulgaria before moving to the United States. Today, he gives the people of Minnesota plenty of reasons to smile. He is active in the Twin City Orthodontic Study Club and the Minnesota Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, St. Paul District Dental Society and Mendota Heights Rotary Club.

Dr. Lubomir Serafimov grew up in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria, and lived there until he moved to the United States with his wife, Tania, in 1998. He worked and studied hard to reestablish his dental credentials and in 2003, he obtained his dental license in Minnesota.
An owner of Serafimov Dental, a West St. Paul family dental practice that has been established for over 30 years, Dr. Serafimov bought the practice from Dr. Glenn Stratton in 2004. Being a fourth generation dentist continuing family tradition, Dr. Lu specializes in a variety of dentistry fields including porcelain veneers, cosmetic solutions and implant restorative procedures. From endodontic, worry-free anxiolysis/minimal sedation dentistry to comprehensive full mouth rehabilitation, Dr. Lu is the dentist of choice allowing you to get all your dental needs and desires completed in one office.
Graduated with highest honors from Medical University School of Dentistry in Sofia, Bulgaria, Dr. Serafimov has trained in many programs including the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Nitrous Oxide Sedation Board Certification and is active in two study clubs: Twin Cities Orthodontic Study Club and Minnesota Academy of Comprehensive Dentistry.
Besides dentistry, Dr. Lu loves to spend time with his family: wife Tania and three children Ivan, Sophia and Estella. He likes to travel abroad to explore new cultures and meet new people. He is active in sports, loves to play tennis, swim, enjoys biking and simply spending time outdoors.
I am the dental office manager. It makes me proud to be part of an office with the best staff and most talented dentist. My position allows me the opportunity to assist patients with their insurance or financial needs, so they can have healthy teeth and gums and a wonderful smile. When I am not in the office enjoy spending time with my family at the lake.
Hello, my name is Annette. I am a Certified and Licensed Dental Assistance. I graduated from the Minneapolis Technical College as a Dental Assistant. I love working with patients and enjoy giving patients a smile they will be happy with. I reside in Hastings on a 10 acre hobby farm with my husband Dave and our 3 Chihuahuas and 2 cats. I have four grown children (all girls) and 8 grandchildren. I love to travel and spend time with family and friends.
Im Sara, the new dental hygienist! I graduated from Century College August 2019. Before going back to school for Hygiene I worked in the medical field for over 15 years. I live in Hudson, WI, with my husband, two daughters and two cats. In my free time I enjoy going up north, horseback riding and yoga. If you have had trouble in the past getting yourself to the dentist for whatever the reasons, go see Dr. Lu and his staff. They are amazing! I had my own reasons for not going to a dentist for a long time. I finally made an appointment. In the last few weeks I have had 3 visits. I wish I would have gone much sooner. Don't wait. Go see Dr. Lu! I'm so happy I did!

I started using this dental office with Dr. Stratton 37 years ago. Over the years I had most of my teeth crowned under his care so when he retired and the new dentist, Dr. Serafimov, took over the practice I was a little nervous but soon came to trust and admire his skills. My family has now grown to three generations using this dental office. We have confidence in his skills, patience and compassion.

I've been visiting Dr Serafimov for 14+ years, and I highly recommend that you go here. Everyone in the office is pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Every hygenist has been top notch, and they are always conscientious if I have a sensitive spot or other concerns. Sandy at the front desk is so wonderful and is always able to answer any paperwork, scheduling, and insurance questions. Dr. Lu really takes time to explain what's happening with any changes or upcoming procedures, so I always know what's going on or what to expect. The office is clean and quiet, and I was at ease during my recent visit during Covid. Great overall, and I hope to visit for years to come.

Iv been going here for years and I have never felt more comfortable with the dentist anywhere els. For someone like me who has anxiety about going to the the dentist Doctor Lu and the staff are very warm and welcoming and do an amazing job. I'm always comfortable I have no anxiety about it anymore. My 6 year old daughter goes with me and gets her teeth done and they are super with her. I can always hear her laughing while she's getting her teeth cleaned. I highly recommend to anyone looking to begin change to Doc Lu.

Dr Serafimov and his entire staff are amazing! If you're looking for a new dentist or unhappy with your current one this is the place to go! It has been over 3 years since I have been to my previous dentist (did not have pleasant experiences with them, so decided to just avoid going all together). Fast forward to current time, I cracked a tooth on accident. Was recommended to go see Dr. Seafimov, and they got me in right away. There was no judgment from staff or Dr. Seafimov. Their only concern was helping me in a timely manner so things didn't get worse. I ended up having to have a crown and root canal done which is not what you want to hear. However Dr. Seafimov and his assistant were extremely friendly and explained the entire process step by step. They also ensured I was comfortable and there was no pain from beginning to end. During the procedure I didn't experience any pain. I was a little sore for a few days after, but that is expected with a crown and root canal. Nothing bad though just took some advil and there was no more discomfort. Overall I had a great experience, Dr. Seafimov and staff did an amazing job! They're also very friendly and put you at ease. I would recommend anyone needing dental work, whether it is just a cleaning or something more to give them a visit!
