Dr. Omid, as he is known among his patients and staff, completed his dental education in Canada at the University of Alberta where he obtained both his Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Dental Degree (DDS). Following his dental education, Dr. Omid practiced general dentistry prior to continuing on to his post-graduate orthodontic training at the Anthony Gianelly Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his CAGS degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Omid's Master's research (MSD) placed focus on the quality of orthodontic care provided by both practitioners and postgraduate residents. This, in turn, helped develop and emphasize systems and protocols designed to further enhance and improve the final outcomes of orthodontic treatment in both adults and children.
During his time away from work, Dr. Omid enjoys his sometimes 'heated ' evening discussions with the rest of the family orthodontists on yet more orthodontic topics and cases...'There is never a dull moment when we talk shop!' He also enjoys most types of outdoor physical activities.
Dr. Arash, as he is best known among his patients and staff, practiced general dentistry for several years in Vancouver, Canada and Dubai prior to moving to Boston to specialize in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He earned his CAGS in orthodontics atAnthony Gianelly Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics program at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During his post-graduate training, he earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree for his master's thesis focusing on the stability of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) following total joint replacement.
Dr. Arash employs the latest orthodontic techniques and treatments to obtain optimal results in his adolescent and adult patients, including Invisalign, ceramic braces and lingual bracket systems, as well as enhancement systems, such as AcceleDent, that may reduce treatment time and increase patient comfort. He also has a special interest in treating cases with complex orthognathic surgical demands, as well as patients exhibiting temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
In his spare time, Dr. Arash enjoys horseback riding and soccer.Hailing from a family of orthodontists, Dr. Arash and his wife, a fellow orthodontist and graduate of Boston University, reside in the Washington, DC area where they spend much of their downtime with close friends and family.

So I just switched orthodontics and I can tell you this sequence orthodontics is the WORST ORTHODONTIST!! I advise you to please get ur money and go somewhere else!!! I've been here for a year and my teeth worsen very bad. So it took them 1 year to shift my bottom teeth, and when I did it it took me a week to fix my bottom teeth!! But that's not the point when I went in the dentist the rude lady argued with me and told me " I didn't go to school so I didn't know wat I was doing and she went to school and she knew more than me" so I went to my new office and they redid my braces and they told me sequence did a horrible job on my teeth. I even notice that they did a bad job 1st I haven't seen progress in almost a 1year I just seen my teeth worsen 2nd they kept a close spring on my braces 3rd horrible service 4th I straightened my bottom teeth in a week and it took them a year to do it. And I even notice my new orthodontist they put a open spring on my teeth with my braces and change a few things with my teeth and when I was at sequence they kept a close spring on my teeth for almost 8 months for that lady who told me they went to school SURE DIDNT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING WITH MY TEETH IF MY NEW ORTHODONTIST PUT A OPEN SPRING ON MY TEETH N YALL KEPT A CLOSE SPRING ON MY TEETH FOR 8 months. And this was exactly why my teeth wasn't doin anything for a year because they kept a close spring instead of an open spring!! This orthodontist does not know what they are doing with your teeth please save your money and go somewhere else!!!!

Dr. Omid n staff r THEE ABSOLUTE BEST.......so im back to UPDATE my review...I HIGHLY recommend Sequence, I have had the best experience....this was my 2nd go at wearing braces, this experience was completely different from my 1st experience....Thanx Sequence staff for taking of me

We have 3 daughters who have all gone to this ortho. Unfortunately over the years we have a seen a pretty severe decline in scheduling and customer service. Many times we get there and the appointment is missing or a completely different day. When we contact them they are slow to respond or not at all. Many times our youngest now waits for 30mins+ for simple updates. Only to have someone come in for 2mins. Seems unprofessional that this is now the standard. In the bringing we would have highly recommended this office but in the last 3 years things have declined to the point we can no longer recommend.

This place has gone so far down hill..I had my braces here when I was in high school and it was a great experience. Now my daughter has them through here and its been nightmare. They make you sign up for automatic payments through a 3rd party. The appointments are over an hour every time.. There was one day that we waited two hours. They just called to cancel my our appointment this morning 10 minutes before it. My daughter has had braces for 14 months and we've made almost no progress. She was last seen in December and now I cant get in until Feb. for her to be seen again, they over wayyyy overbooked. They pulled 2 of her permanent teeth because it was mandatory for her to move forward, then we found out months later that there was an option of shaving her teeth..? We can't get those teeth back. I would like to add that for her last appointment, they said they would email me her school note... never did. PLEASE consider somewhere else if your insurance gives you an option.

Not pleased with service as far as available appointments or the progress of my child's ortho care. I feel as though I can speak on this because I somewhat recently (11 months now) have been taking my second child to a different orthodontist in the area and the service is distinctively different. At Sequence Orthodontist, we do not feel as though they care about making progress. Please trust this review and get a few consultation before choosing your orthodontist. Remember you can potentially be with them for years and you don't want to wasting your time and money. Read reviews, ask questions about availability and the office's flexibility in schedule. Some ortho offices are open late twice a month to accommodate school/work schedule. Be sure to document your progress as well. From having the opportunity to get service by another office I think this orthodontist has lost his passion for his profession. Again, shop around (White Plains and La Plata)

The staff at Sequence Orthodontics is absolutely phenomenal. I had my braces on for a little over two years, and extremely happy with the results after I got them off. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing braces.

Took my child to this office for a 3rd opinion. I liked the doctors approach to treatment and explanation. He was able to give me all options and some that other orthodontists totally missed. Polite staff and clean office. Will recommend to anyone in the area looking for an orthodontist.

Do not choose this orthodontist. They are discriminatory towards patients who have state insurance versus patients who have private insurance. My child has been coming here for over two years without progress. The orthodontist has a pompous demeanor. Lastly, they do not promote healthy ortho care. They will not encourage or allow patients to brush teeth when they remove wires. When other offices allow this... they will argue with you. Please take your money/insurance elsewhere.

I was very satisfied with our first appointment today. Honesty goes a long way. They explained everything to us and I felt comfortable with going forward with the Ortho treatments for my son. I would not recommend this establishment especially if you're paying out of pocket. The moment you walk in, you're made to feel as an inconvenience. Always a long wait even with being 10min early. No communication to the parents after the appointments or any progress updates. Good luck calling or emailing because they rarely answer the phone and when you finally do get through, you're rushed off within seconds of them answering. Would not recommend.

I had the most amazing experience with Sequence in Waldorf from start to finish. The doctors listened to my concerns and made sure that my treatment went as planned. The staff was so professional and helpful. The assistants in the procedure room kept the energy high and fun. I got my braces off today and I'm thrilled at how good my teeth look. I had braces years ago through a different orthodontist. I had a permanent retainer on my lower teeth from my previous orthodontist since 2013. In March 2021, my retainer broke loose from my teeth while eating. I called around for to find a local orthodontist to repair and/or install a new permanent retainer and found Sequence Orthodontics. I paid them $450 to install a new permanent retainer on my bottom front 6 teeth. Six months later, the permanent retainer installed by Sequence Orthodontics broke loose while flossing at home. I called Sequence Orthodontics to see if they could replace and/or reinstall for free or for a reduced fee. They told me over the phone that they could, but would need to evaluate once in the office to be sure. So, I scheduled an appointment to have a new retainer installed in October 2021. When I arrived, I explained what happened: The retainer installed by Sequence broke loose while flossing at home. A week after it broke loose, I had a routine dental cleaning and had a cavity filled. While getting my teeth cleaned, my dentist smoothed out the rough spots from the broken retainer. NOTE: My dentist did not break the retainer...it was already broken. After explaining the situation to the Sequence staff, they recommended a clear plastic retainer for $200. I thought that was not fair considering their retainer broke loose in 6 months. I asked what it would cost to just reinstall the same metal retainer and I was told likely more than $300. I told the staff that I was told over the phone that the replacement would be provided for free or at a significant discount since it broke so soon. Their response: Your dentist must have loosened it while cleaning. It is impossible that my dentist loosened the retainer because the retainer was already completely broken and out of my mouth before I went to my dentist. Very disappointed in this business. I was misled and wasted a lot of time during a work day going to an appointment where I was supposed to get a replacement for free or for a small fee. I strongly recommend Waldorf Orthodontics over this business. Waldorf Orthodontics quoted me $175 for installation of a new retainer and were recommended by several local dentists. Updated response to Owner on 10/26/21: I did not mention that part of the retainer had come undone a couple months ago and when I visited my dentist for a cleaning the entire retainer was removed because that's not what happened. I told your staff exactly what happened as explained in my previous review. I now feel as though you are fabricating my story to fit your defense of the situation. Additionally, the morning after my retainer was broken, I called your office, told them what had happened (including informing them that the entire retainer had broken loose) and they said the next available appointment was in October (over a month away). On this phone call, your office staff told me your office would cover the cost to install, with maybe a small fee. I was fine with the long wait for installation of a new retainer assuming it would be free or at a reduced cost. Your office is obviously not coordinated on what is discussed via phone and what is said in person. I felt misled, wasted a lot of time, and now you are crafting a story that isn't true. This has nothing to do with budget. It has to do with your integrity. In response to your comment about referring to other reviews as a more accurate reflection of your service, I recommend people check your Yelp reviews. My review is a perfect reflection of your service because it is the truth and reflects your real actions towards a customer.

I have been going to this office for several years now and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The girls in the back and front are my absolute fave and the Orthodontist are always so friendly!! Highly recommended!!!
