Dr. Quintner graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Phi Beta Kappa key in 2004 from Tufts University where he received his B.S. in Biology and spent his junior year abroad at Oxford University researching cellular and molecular microbiology. He then joined the class of 2008 at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Throughout all four years at Penn, he was the proud recipient of the Deans Scholarship awarded to the top 25 undergraduate applicants based on academic performance. He spent a summer in Washington DC as a health policy fellow of the American Medical Student Association, one of 8 medical and dental students chosen nationwide. He graduated with National Boards part I and II honors, and was the sole recipient of the Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award. He was also the founder and president of the Penn Dental Sailing Club.
Dr. Quintner enrolled in a competitive dental residency at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. The residency provided further training in dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, IV sedation dentistry and the management of medically complex patients. Dr. Quintner was the first recipient of the William J. Reiger Award given to the resident who shows the highest motivation and superlative skills in both clinical and didactic general dentistry.
He continues his dental education with Spears seminars, Dr. Parnoff Study Club, Fairfield County Study Club, The Connecticut State Dental Association Continuing Ed. Continuum, and has achieved his Mastery of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also an active member and fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Quintner enjoys performing rehabilitative dentistry utilizing techniques in smile design, endodontics, bone grafting and implant placement, digital and CAD/CAM restorative dentistry, and bonded ceramics. He has had the pleasure of working side by side with his father at Sensitive Care since 2009, and has recently become Managing Partner and President of the dental group. Carrying on the family tradition of excellence, It is his great pleasure to oversee such a wonderful and dedicated group of professionals and his mission to deliver the finest comprehensive dental care in New Haven and Fairfield Counties.
Away from the office, he spends his time serving the homeless population in Milford on the Board of Directors for the Beth El Shelter. He enjoys playing squash, hitting the slopes, running, biking, fishing and racing sailboats.

A true Milford native, Dr. Quintner has practiced dentistry in Connecticut since 1983. His last office was in the same house where he visited his dentist as a boy.Hes a doctors doctor, having been Peer Review Chairman for the Milford Dental Society. He has also been a consultant to insurance companies andPresident of the local Dental Society. Dr. Quintner has been involved with training dentists in the use of CEREC technology and has restored in excess of fourthousand CEREC restorations. Dr. Quintner is one of the best dentists in the Milford area and beyond. As a professional, Dr. Quintner is a member of: TheAcademy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, The Connecticut State Dental Association, the Academy of Computerized Dentistry, and TheAmerican Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Locally, he was formerly on the United Way Board of Directors and past President of the Orange School SystemPTA, and is a past President of Milford Rotary and on the Board for the Milford Health Department.
Dr. Ahmed graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2016 from the University of Pittsburgh where she received her B.S. in Natural Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Sociology. She then joined the class of 2020 at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She was the sole recipient of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award.
Dr. Ahmed completed a competitive General Practice Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. This residency provided her with further training in digital dentistry, dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral pathology, sedation, and management of medically complex patients.

Dr. Helms is proficient in all aspects of dentistry, including endodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implant restoration and is a certified Invisalign provider. Married with three college aged students. She has been practicing dentistry in Milford for 24 years. Twice named one of Connecticut Top Dentists.

I have very bad anxiety when it comes to ANY dental work. Sensitive Care has been GREAT!!! Went for a cleaning on my posts today. Jessica was so polite and listened to my concerns. Everyone behind the desk (Jennifer) was very helpful. Each and every one who works in this office care about my well being and listens to my concerns. I just can't pin point one person in this office because they are all AWESOME!!!!

Sensitive Care is the name of my dental team -- because they exemplify a gentle approach, to what has been a lifetime of the most-terrifying experience of going to the dentist! When the wonderful Dr. Helms left the practice, I was beyond apprehensive about returning to have much-needed, but complicated, dental work. But Dr. Naadia Ahmed filled the fabulous, chic shoes of Dr. Helms to a "T!" She ensured that I felt comfortable at each step, and was patient when I needed to take a break due to fear. I usually have a panic attack in the chair -- but Dr. Naadia helped talk me through it, and cranked the music up louder. Dua Lipa and I made it to the other side! And the support staff at Sensitive Care has always been exemplary. I have adored my hygienist, Michelle, for ages. She gives me tough love; and I get through the knot-in-my-stomach cleanings, alive & kicking. Recently, Crystal, helped me sign up for a dentist-sponsored payment credit application, when I couldn't afford a dental-implant I really wanted to have done. And the dental assistants I have been blessed to have recently, took charge of my care like the bosses they are. Nikki & Lexi were so kind and nurturing, that I almost forgot where I was. Believe me, that takes some serious doing! I am deeply grateful that I still receive the caring & comfort I've come to expect from Sensitive Care, over the past 15 years. After a ton of anxiety from not such a great dental experience, Jessica, the hygienist was amazing at keeping me comfortable and getting the cleaning done very thoroughly and setting me up on proper treatment come checkout time I saw Krystal and she was also amazing at scheduling me accommodating my schedule all super friendly staff including Megan B from their billing department

Wow! What an amazing experience! I had my first new patient appointment yesterday and I have already told five people about the enjoyable experience I had. Nikki was the first person I began my appointment with; as she took pictures and X-rays she was friendly, energetic, and welcoming. She really set the tone. Dr. Ahmed was thorough and took the time to explain her assessment and ensure she answered all my questions. She didn't appear to be in a rush; she was in the moment, present and kind. I was lucky enough to have Jessica as my hygienist who was just fantastic! She was thorough in her gum assessment and my cleaning was the easiest I've ever had. Jessica completed a warm hand off to crystal who was patient and accommodating when scheduling my speciality consult, explaining my treatment plan and breaking down cost and insurance coverage. It's clear everyone truly loves what they do and where they work. I felt like I have been coming here for years! And to think it was just my first appointment.

I want to compliment Dr Alex Quintner and his superior staff for there unrivaled, compassionate care. First time here due to tooth pain. Not only did they take me without question but they helped me figure out my insurance as this is my first time alone. To make all of that even better Nikki and Elizibeth extracted a molar that had been bothering me forever, and i didnt feel a thing, no paint at all. I was in and out with no appointment, no phone call. I will definitely be coming back at this is the most comfortable I've been at a dentist!!!!

Appt for 9/8/22 to add resin to my teeth to prolong my dental health performed by Dr Alex Quintner and his awesome assistant Lexi. I also had my teeth cleaned and the health of my gums checked by THE BEST HYGIENIST IN THE WORKD in my opinion. Thank you Michelle. You're the best. Let me start by saying I have extreme dental anxiety! Everything about this place is great! The receptionists are terrific! The office is immaculate and state-of-the-art. Dr Alex and Lexi provided excellent care and kept me calm the entire time!!! I was nervous to have a drill in my mouth and have a crown placed. It was not a big deal at all! No pain, no anxiety! I wish I could give them 20 stars! My dental fears are over!! THANK YOU!!!

Dr. Michael Wiener is one of those premiere specialists who is a highly skilled in a class by himself, true expert in dental implant and periodontics.. Dr. Wiener took the time to explain every aspect of the procedure and truly cared about my comfort and the success of the implantation. He utilizes both his knowledge and state of the art technology to provide the patient with the most optimal oral health. He has a phenomenal bedside manner and is highly proficient.My highest recommendation and appreciation goes to Dr. Wiener. He is located on Wednesdays at Sensitive Care in Milford, Connecticut.
