This practice has been a part of the Fairfax community and providing excellent care for the people of Fairfax since 1958. We strive to provide the same level of care to our patients that we would want for our families. We listen to our patients needs and desires prior to planning treatment, we value their time, and our goal is to exceed their expectations.

Dr. Mary-Stuart Gallian began her educational journey at Sewanee, the University of the South in Tennessee, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Anthropology and Psychology. She went on to do post-graduate work in Microbiology at The University of Missouri, St. Louis and then earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.

Dr. Gallian has been practicing dentistry since 2007 and she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Northern Virginia Dental Association. She is also a member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club, giving her access to high-quality continuing education.

A native of Alabama, Dr. Gallians interest in dentistry developed at a young age when her mother had braces, and continued to grow as she worked alongside her father as his dental assistant throughout High School and College. She was a partner in her fathers practice after dental school, until she moved to Northern Virginia.

She joined Dr. Richard Line as a partner and took over his practice when he retired. The practice had been a family practice that Dr. Line inherited from his father, who also practiced here in Fairfax.

Dr. Gallian strongly believes in the importance of patients truly understanding the need for their dental treatment. She enjoys taking the time to explain dentistry and takes a comprehensive approach. Her extensive education and gentle approach help to ensure that every patient in her chair has the best possible experience.

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Gallian enjoys backcountry hiking, camping, and trail running with her two dogs. She loves to read science fiction, listen to live music, and; she attends as many concerts as possible.

When shes not at the office, Hailey loves spending time traveling, hiking, enjoying live music, and spending time with her extended family. Though she has fun cooking for her family, Hailey adds, I leave the baking to my husband!

Donna enjoys creating a bond with our patients and building lasting relationships. Our patients know that they can trust her with their smile. I have a cheerful disposition and go out of my way to put my patients at ease, Donna said. I take my time to explain aspects of oral hygiene and dental care. This helps to both improve their oral hygiene and it decreases dental anxiety.

When shes not working with patients in the office, Donna keeps active. She is married with three lively children. She likes to run and she enjoys sports especially rooting for her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

Originally from Thailand, our terrific hygienist Pen moved to northern Virginia in 1995. She earned her degree in dental hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College, and an MBA from Johnson and Wales University.

Pen loves getting to know, interact with, and help our patients achieve optimal oral health. When they come in, she makes sure they are comfortable and works to develop a good relationship where they can talk about anything.

She enjoys seeing patients get the treatment they want and need, leaving with their teeth looking and feeling clean. Dieu says, Watching our patients oral hygiene improve with treatment is a highlight of working with them.

An important member of our team, our dental assistant Christine has over 30 years of experience. She earned her Degree in Dental Assisting at Coastal Carolina Community College and is a recipient of the Clinical Achievement Award.

Christine enjoys engaging with our patients and educating them about the procedures they have come to us for. She says that she prides herself in helping them feel at ease, My goal is to make patients feel as comfortable as possible in our dental office.

Her positive attitude, happy demeanor, and willingness to help patients understand the aspects of their dental procedure are why our team and our clients love Christine. She will always work to help out during the recovery process and ensure the long-term care of our patients restorations.

Christine was born in Fairfax Virginia, and grew up in Africa, England, and Pakistan. She has a grown daughter and two cats. Christine enjoys visiting museums, attending wine tastings, and music festivals.
