A native of Jasper, Dr. Nate graduated from JHS in 1999, where he was active in sports and scouting, earning an Eagle Scout. He attended Indiana University and graduated in 2003 with a major in biology. Dr. Nate then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2007. While in dental school, he was awarded a scholarship under the Navy's Health Professions Scholarship Program and was commissioned to the United States Navy Dental Corps.
Dr. Nate served as a general dentist for four years in the United States Navy. His duty stations included Parris Island, SC, and Okinawa, Japan. It was during his three years of service in Okinawa that Dr. Nate discovered his passion for pediatric dentistry while treating the family members of active duty Marines and Sailors. During his service in the military, he received two Navy Achievement Medals for clinical excellence.
Upon the conclusion of his military commitment, Dr. Nate was accepted into the pediatric dental residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. During his residency, he worked closely with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, emergency medicine physicians, and hematology and oncology specialists, preparing him to maintain the highest level of care for both healthy and special needs children. His training also included growth and development, conscious sedation, and hospital dentistry. Dr. Nate served as chief resident during his final year of residency. He received his certificate of specialty in June 2013 and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Nate and his wife Laura have three children: Piper, Porter, and Bridger. In his spare time, he enjoys spearfishing, scuba diving, camping, working outdoors, traveling, and watching IU basketball. Go Hoosiers!
Dr. Lauren E. Long (Dr. Lauren) grew up in Jasper, Indiana. She attended Butler University and graduated in 2012 with a bachelors degree in biology. Following her time as a Butler Bulldog, she studied at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she completed her doctorate degree in 2016. After working as a general dentist in Indianapolis for two years, Dr. Lauren grew to love pediatric dentistry, and pursued her residency training at Riley Hospital for Children. She served as Chief Resident during her final year and received the Delta Dental Award for Innovation in Oral Care Research as well as the G.R. Baker Fellowship Award.
Dr. Lauren is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry (ISPD). She and her husband Jake also served as co-chairs of the New Dentist Committee for the Indianapolis District Dental Society. She is CPR and PALS certified and is always seeking new ways to improve her clinical skills.
Dr. Lauren has always loved working with children in any setting, but particularly enjoys creating a fun and educational experience for kids at the dentist. She prides herself in getting to know each of her patients, listening to their goals, and working together to achieve them.
Dr. Lauren and Jake welcomed their first child, James, into the world in August 2019, and becoming a mom has only deepened her desire to serve her patients well. She is looking forward to moving back to her hometown and being a part of the Seng Pediatric Dentistry family!
In her free time, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, and volunteering with Young Life and other community organizations. She is eager to provide compassionate care to each patient she encounters!

Our Doctors: Dr. Nate and Dr. Lauren are Board Certified Pediatric Dentists. After dental school, each completed a pediatric dentistry residency and specialized training program. This advanced education on addressing the dental needs of growing children, including care for those with special physical, emotional, and developmental concerns, ensures they provide the ideal treatment and experience for your child.
They also understand a parents concerns and seek to partner with you, learning your expectations and respecting your wishes. You are invited to accompany your child during their visit, and our doctors and team are happy to answer questions and offer helpful guidance.
Our Approach: Our doctors and entire staff are compassionate, gentle, and truly do their best to ensure a fun and positive experience for each child. We take our time to help nervous children settle in, talking with them in everyday language and listening to what they have to say.
Our Services: Seng Pediatric Dentistry is the only local office providing specialized dental care for children. In addition to general treatment, we offer laser lip- and tongue-tie revisions. We also offer safe, in-office sedation options, as well as general anesthesia in a hospital setting.

Amazing place for pediatric dentistry. Accepts Medicaid, makes the kiddos comfortable with having dental work done. Very friendly staff.

My son is disabled, he's deaf and has mild cerebral palsy, so I dreaded taking him to the dentist as a lot of people aren't accommodating of his conditions and I was worried that a dentist visit could be scary for my son when he can't hear what's going on. We've been going here for a year now and they always do great, they ease my son into everything so there isn't anything startling and they are super accommodating and take everything at his speed to keep him comfortable. We love this office, my son has a great time at his appointments and the staff is so kind and willing to work with any patient.

All three of my kids are patients ranging in age from 1-9, and I've always been happy with the level of professionalism, knowledge, and patience they have. My kids are like me and get anxious at the dentist, but you can tell they are trained to deal with nervous kids and do it so well. We recently moved out of town, and taking my kids to Seng Pediatric Dentistry is a little out of the way, but I can't imagine going anywhere else and will gladly make the trip.

I honestly was dreading taking my child to the dentist. But after going here, I wish this was my dentist when I was a kid. The staff is awesome and the facility is very open and kid friendly. Highly recommend.

Today was our first visit to Dr. Seng's office. Everyone at this office was so kind and patient with my children! Each chair is equipped with a tv mounted on the ceiling and the children are given headphones and sunglasses while they are examined. The office was also very clean and well organized. We will absolutely be returning for future visits!! I can't recommend them enough!

The nurses and the dentist are really nice but when it come to payments and the financial part they are terrible. They told me I wasn't gonna be charged for something until the day of the appointment and they charged me like 2 weeks before the appointments, they have a lot of communication issues. It looks like they are confused all the time. I'm not going back after my appointment that's terrible.
