Dr. Erica Ford earned her dental degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Biology from American University in Washington D.C. Her other memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and the Southern Maryland Dental Society.
In 2018, Dr. Ford was a nominee for the prestigious '10 Under 10' award by the American Dental Association, which recognizes dentists across America who have made an impact on the profession in areas such as practice excellence, philanthropy, and leadership.
Dr. Ford grew up in Montgomery County. While in dental school, she went on a mission trip to Jamaica to volunteer dental services to the underserved rural population. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency program at Northwell Health Hospital in New York City. She is certified in administering Botox, and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Ford stays up-to-date with the latest Continuing Education courses, and is currently working on her fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry.She provides family dentistry in the Germantown MD area.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Ford and her team for over 5 years and it's always been a great experience. She knows what she doing and I leave with a clean smile, not pain! And to top it off, you will never meet a nicer person than Jeff who tries his best to always accommodate you. I appreciate the whole team.

Dr. Ford is exceptional! The professionalism , care and friendliness of Dr. Ford & the staff are qualities that should be replicated in every medical facility. I have been to a number of dentists; Dr. Ford is my number 1!

Due to Covid, it had been two years since I had been to the dentist. Also, I had moved from Virginia to Maryland and needed a new dentist. I found Dr. Erica Ford online and was impressed from the beginning. When I called, Jeff helped me set up my appointment and answered all my questions in a very friendly and professional manner. They have a helpful system of sending reminder texts prior to my appointment. Dr. Ford was friendly and has a wonderfully soothing demeanor. She is very thorough and her touch is very gentle. Plus, she is very efficient and completed my x-rays and cleaning under an hour. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire dental experience - 5 stars!

My new dentist. Being extremely terrified since one of my tooth broke. I called my dad and he told me how amazing Dr.Ford is. I called them at 3:45pm and they had me in there office at 5 to make sure I was okay. And see if they could help me relieve pain. Dr.Ford stayed attentive even after leaving the visit by responding to text on her off day to make sure I got my X-rays and panos over to the oral surgeon. What I thought would take a few days to get a tooth out took less that 24 hours! Thank you Dr.Ford and your wonderful team. Especially that handsome little guy on four legs there to greet me and calm me before being looked at.

Dr. Ford is always great: professional, friendly, efficient, thorough, and consistent. She's very fun to talk to while getting your teeth cleaned. She's up to date on all of the ridiculously funny Netflix reality shows, which makes the time go by fast while having your biannual dental check-up.

Dr. Ford was able to accommodate my whole family in a single afternoon, which is great in an otherwise busy schedule! Her therapy dog is a huge asset as my children enjoy their time in the waiting room before their cleaning.

Dr. Ford & her staff have been providing my dental care for about 2 to 3 years now. I switched to Seneca Dental Care after my previous provider retired. I cannot say enough good things about them. They make me feel very relaxed; they're very patient and accommodating of my gag sensitivity; they are very thorough with my cleanings, accept my insurance, & they have the sweetest dog, Flynn, available (behind a gate) to greet patients with an enthusiastic tail wag!

I was disappointed when my dentist decided to retire but since I was so pleased with his support staff, I decided to follow them to Dr. Erica Ford's dental practice. I'm so glad that I did because the same dental care and attention that my husband and I received previously has continued and excelled at Seneca Dental. Also, the referrals that Dr. Ford has given me for my periodontal care and implants have been very favorable.
