We are an orthodontic practice devoted to creating beautiful smiles. Dr. Sencak graduated from North Hills High School. He then pursued his education at the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. During that time, he was also elected into the nations oldest and most prestigious academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa.
After completing three years of undergraduate education, he was awarded early admission into the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he completed his Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine. He was also elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Sencak earned both a certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
During his residency, Dr. Sencak was able to learn directly from two world-renowned orthodontists, Drs. Lysle Johnston and James McNamara, as well as the President of the American Association of Orthodontics.
The northern suburbs of Pittsburgh have been Dr. Sencaks home for most of his life. I am honored to be able to dedicate my time and knowledge back to my hometown. Along with supporting local recreation centers and charity fundraisers, Dr. Sencak has also been involved with the Special Olympics and has even organized free dental care events for the athletes. Aside from work, Dr. Sencak is an avid Pittsburgh sports team fan. He also likes spending time with family and friends, playing sports, and hiking.

The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our staff will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each available payment plan option, so that you can make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
To alleviate the pain, normal over-the-counter pain relievers will usually do the trick. Rinsing your mouth with salt water can help provide relief for mouth ulcers. All you need is an 8 ounce glass of warm water mixed with just one teaspoon of salt. Topical numbing solutions such as Ora-base are also helpful to ease ulcer pain.
While actual emergencies are rare, if a traumatic event occurs contact any of our offices as soon as possible. In these situations, X-rays are often necessary to determine the extent of the injury or incident and to determine whether or not the orthodontic appliances have been damaged.

Best orthodontist for finding the perfect treatment. I went to another orthodontist and they actually ruined my mouth but Sencak fixed my smile beautifully! Super nice employees and easy to make appointments that get you in fast for damaged bracket, binder!

Sencak Orthodontics is a great place for all ages. The staff is friendly and kind. They are also very flexible with scheduling. Both of my children are seen here. My daughter just had her braces removed and the results are wonderful. We have been going here since 2017 and can't say enough how great our experiences have been.

Thank you so much Dr. Sencak for giving Rylee the most beautiful smile! Today was removal day of the braces! These last 16 months have been stressful at times but your staff is the best! From the first time coming in for the consult with Kristen, to your wonderful techs Nikki and Jen, a very welcoming receptionist Michelle! The group is awesome! I would highly recommend coming to see Dr. Sencak! Before we went to Sencak orthodontics we shopped our options and I'm glad I did! This practice was by far the best we went to. I'm glad they accepted and treated us! Thanks again!

My son has had an awesome experience at Sencak orthodontics. Everyone in the office is very welcoming and personable, and Dr. Sencak is amazing too. I definitely feel that they care about their patients. Its about the quality of their patients, not the quantity of how many patients they have.

Sencak orthodontics is a very casual and friendly environment that my daughters have been to for many years. The staff is very warm and inviting. They are always there to comfort and inform you on procedures that may seem frightening. In the end there is no one else I would trust more in the health and safety of my children's teeth and beautiful smiles.

Cranberry Orthodontics is dependable and delivering of your braces needs! The workers at the place are professional and they like to talk with you! They'll give you recommendations on what you should do with your braces if you have a problem. I most certainly have my problems with my teeth growth, but when the time was right, they put a brace on the tooth and it seems to straighten fine! This is a great, if not the finest place to go in Cranberry Township for Orthodontists!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sencak Orthodontics. My daughter and I have both been patients with this practice for almost 3 years - and my son will be having braces applied later this year. I don't know where to even begin to describe how awesome our experience has been with the practice, everyone there feels like family to us now.
