Dr. William Alford graduated from Delta State University and later earned his dental degree from The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He served as an officer for three years in the Army Dental Corps before beginning private practice in Senatobia in 1982. He joined Senatobia Dental Care in 2012. For over 15 years, Dr. Alford served as the Dental Director for the Marshall County Correctional Facility.
Dr. Alford's involvement in the dental community stretches back to the beginning of his career. He is the current president of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners, which grants licenses to new dentists according to merit, among other responsibilities. He is a member of the American Association of Dental Boards, the Northeast Regional Dental Board, and the Southern Regional Testing Agency. Dr. Alford is the past president of the District II chapter of the Mississippi Dental Association (MDA), but has also served as Secretary, peer review Chairman, legislative contact, and Trustee. He has been on the MDAs Budget and Finance Committee for over 20 years.
Dr. Alford is also very active in the local community. He is past president of the Senatobia Chamber of Commerce, the Senatobia Rotary Club, Delta State Universitys Alumni Association, and the Mississippi Independent School Association. He is a trustee on the Magnolia Heights School Board, and a director of the Delta State University Foundation.

Dr. Alford is fantastic. He does a great job of explaining things and does wonderful work. Hannah did a great job on my cleaning, she is very friendly and very thorough.. The staff overall is wonderful! They aren't in network for me but I am willing to pay a little more for the great level of care they provide! I can't imagine taking my family anywhere else!

I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Alford. His bedside manner was comforting and reassuring. He and Karen made the tooth extraction process quick and painless. Even the front office was awesome by getting me a next day appointment after my initial call. Dr. Alford even called afterwards to check my status. I'll definitely return for any dental needs!

Great people. Everyone treated you with kindness and respect. They talk you through what is going on and lay out all your options to help you save money. Hopefully I won't have to soon but if so, I would definitely use them again.

I love this dentist office ! They always have the best care and always so nice ! They are pretty booked sometimes but they always are definitely worth going to for sure ! My whole family goes to this dentist and we all love it !
