Born in South Florida, Dr. Semidey was raised in Barcelona, Spain, before returning home to the Miami area for high school and college. Dr. Semidey earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida in 2010. (Go Gators!) Alex, as he prefers to be called by his patients, regards dentistry as his craft constantly working to elevate it through continuing education and the implementation of the newest technology in his practice. Once you meet Dr. Semidey, it is clear that he is fully committed to doing things the right way.
Sara started her career with Semidey Dental as a Dental Assistant. During her 2 years at the practice she became an integral part of the team, and starting in the summer of 2018, Sara will be taking a 4 year hiatus from Semidey Dental to go to dental school at the University of Florida. She will remain involved in the practice and when she graduates she will be returning home as Dr. Sara to work alongside Dr. Alex.

10/10 experience!! MARK MY WORDS: this will be the BEST doctor's appointment of your life! Don't know where to begin. From start to finish, I felt so comfortable, relaxed, well-informed, welcomed, cozy and so taken care of! The entire staff, including Dr. Alex, treated me with such intentional care, amazing attention. Dr. Alex was so intentional about creating an open, comfortable patient-doctor relationship. I felt like I could ask any questions and he was so ready and eager to answer them. The hygienist, Brittany, was so incredibly nice, gentle and so sweet to talk with. The cleaning was my favorite part! I've never seen such attention-to-detail and such a focus on patient experience at a practice. I didn't want to leave haha! So grateful to have found the best dental practice. I'm now looking forward to all my dental appointments!!

Used to hate going to dentist. I have say that this has been the best and most enjoyable dentist I've ever been to in 60+ year's. Dr. Sara and her assistant Gail make so enjoyable. They do great work and everything is Perfect. The entire office staff is great to deal with and very helpful.

My partner had a procedure there two weeks ago and I am impressed! I was expecting a painful procedure as she had two wisdom teeth extracted and Dr. Sara Tarte did a wonderful job! I highly recommend this clinic that has a great energy and customer service, latest/advanced equipment and you will leave thinking about your next visit!

Best dental experience I've ever had! My exam was so informative and they really took the time to educate me. Dr. Tarte did an amazing job and was able to treat me the same day. The assistants were so kind and made everything a smooth process. Dr. Tarte even messaged me the same night checking in to make sure I'm okay. This will forever be my dental home!

I have never felt more comfortable and welcomed. I never smiled ever and they helped me with Invisalign and made me happy to smile again. This review is way over due but I am so grateful for this journey and for Semidey dental. They gave me a freedom that a lot of people wouldn't understand. Thank you. My Wife and I really enjoy our visit at Semidey Dental on 8/1. I have been through many Dental Offices from Coconut Creek to Davie, but this is the best one so far. We love that they were very professional and inspect everything thoroughly from jaw, bone, muscles, gum, teeth... during our annual check up. They also have a PowerPoint presentation to educate you on your dental condition and a detailed report emailed to you after the visit. In overall, 10/10 experience! We are eager to come back on our next visit to start the Invisalign treatment. Thank you, Dr. Alex and the team!

If you're looking for a new dental FAMILY to be a part of look no further than Semidey dental. The entire team makes you feel welcomed and comfortable during your visit in an office that doesn't feel like a dental office. My appointment was on time and very thorough. The best part was the hygiene flavor bar which had lots of amazing options to choose from!

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcomed; The staff is highly friendly, making your visit very pleasant. After so many years of dealing with different dental hygienists, my experience with Brittany Johnson, RDH was like no other. She was extremely professional and had an amazing bedside manner. I complimented her and the rest of the staff. The ambience is so cozy I said: if this was a restaurant, I would visit them every week. I encourage you to visit them and see for yourself.

Unbelievably cool staff, very professional. I felt completely relaxed. Had a molar in the very back of my jaw removed. This was my 2nd time there and both times were the best possible experience. Semidey is the best dental experience I've ever had! They make sure you are completely comfortable throughout the appointment, and Brittany was amazing! I came in for a quick cleaning before work and I was relaxed, I almost fell asleep in the chair. Would highly recommend Semidey to anyone I know.
