Dr. Keith T. Sellers has practiced orthodontics for over 35 years and has been voted Charlottes Top Orthodontist for 10 years in a row by his peers! After graduating with a BA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1978, Dr. Sellers then continued his education at UNC, getting his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1982. Then, it was off to St. Louis University to get his masters degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Kenning was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. She graduated from The University of Kansas in 2012 with a B.A. in biology with Highest Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, and University Honors. She then moved to the Florida Keys to work in marine research and conservation for two years. She received her D.D.S. from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska graduating Summa Cum Laude, second in her class. Dr. Kenning then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center where she received her Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters of Science in Dentistry.
After work you can find her playing tennis, running, or cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks basketball team. Keep your eyes peeled for an Underwater Wire Bending CE course led by Dr. Kenning in the near future!
Dr. Sellers is an expert at using growth modification to balance and create facial symmetry, rarely pulling teeth or recommending invasive treatment plans that include headgear, rapid palatal expanders, or jaw surgery.
The only Charlotte orthodontist to have achieved Invisalign Top 1% status the highest level of experience with the Invisalign system, which puts him among the Top 1% of Invisalign providers in the ENTIRE COUNTRY! Experience and expertise are important!
An expert at using the Damon bracket system, Dr. Sellers was taught by Dr. Dwight Damon (founder of the Damon System) himself. Additionally, Dr. Sellers has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally to other orthodontists teaching them how to utilize the Damon System.

My 2 girls and I have been treated by this group team and we are extremely satisfied with their service. I will recommend this facility 100%. We have had an amazing experience with this facility. The staff are extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. The environment and the office look amazing. The staff have been extremely understanding and helpful with the few issues we had. Overall, this company is perfect for anyone searching for an amazing and beautiful smile!

Dr. Sellers and his staff go above and beyond and always provide exceptional care. Everyone in the office is professional and friendly. Dr. Sellers is the best of the best. Dr. Sellers did such an amazing job on my oldest daughter's braces that her younger sister got her braces on the same day the oldest one got hers off. We will go to no other orthodontist.

We have had 2 of our 3 kids go here for orthodontics so far. We have had an amazing experience with this facility. The staff are extremely welcoming, kind, resourceful and helpful. The environment is very hospitable and the office looks amazing. The staff have been extremely understanding and helpful with the few issues we had, and the scheduling is flexible. Definitely the best orthodontist in charlotte and surrounding areas. I would say in the southeast, personally. Always so gentle and kind as well as super knowledgeable. I have gone to others and no one equals this level of service or experience.

Our family is so grateful to have found Dr. Sellers. We had a terrible orthodontic experience with our 1st child. The orthodontist was unrealistic concerning the treatment plan and our child had braces on for 5 years until his senior year in high school he could not handle it anymore and had them taken off. The experience effected him so negatively and he felt terrible about his smile.. We were so hesitant with our 2nd child and went to see numerous orthodontist and we are so grateful we choose Dr. Sellers. After seeing the beautiful smile and confidence from our second child we are turning to Dr. Sellers to help correct the mistakes that were made with our oldest. We highly recommend Dr. Sellers and his excellent staff to create a positive experience with great results.

Dr. Sellers is an amazing orthodontist. We saw 4 orthodontists before we met Dr. Sellers and all of the other orthodontists wanted to perform maxillofacial surgery on my son to correct his bite. We live 40 minutes away from Dr. Sellers' office but I drove to Charlotte hoping to avoid my son having surgery. After a couple of years with regular braces and a retainer, my son has a perfect bite and smile. I also took my other 2 children and myself to be treated by Dr. Sellers. My daughter and I wore Invisalign with beautiful results. All personnel is kind and caring. We highly recommend Dr. Sellers!

Sellers Orthodontics has been part of our family for a very long time! My son came here when he was young and I came back as an adult to have my smile improved! One of my daughters in law came to him to fix a bad attempt at Invisalign by an out of state dentist. We all had wonderful results. Dr. Sellers is a truly great orthodontist with a kind and gentle approach and demeanor. The staff (some of which were there back when my son went!) are always so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the office is so inviting and they really help ease the fear and discomfort that go along with having dental work done. If any of my granddaughters should ever need orthodontic work I would not hesitate to take them to Sellers Orthodontics!!

Outstanding staff! Always on time, professional and friendly! Dr Sellers is a master at his craft and always goes the extra mile. He even met us at the office on a Satuday when my son had a loose wire that was uncomfortable. Both of my children have beautiful smiles thanks to the team at Sellers Orthodontics!

I honestly couldn't rave about Dr. Sellers and his team enough! I had a super complicated case with an impacted canine tooth that my Dr is greensboro recommend Dr. Sellers to me to handle my complex situation. This has been the quickest and best experience with an orthodontist I have ever had (even during the middle of a pandemic). The team there is so kind and answer every question I have in depth with so much care! Stephanie is one of my favorites she always comes to greet me even when I'm not under her care at the time, Carrie is amazing too! They are all just so personable and wonderful! I have had 10/10 care and experience I fully recommend!

Dr. Sellers was my Orthodontist 20 years ago. Recently, I needed a new retainer (they lasted 20 years until my dog chewed them). I called Dr. Sellers office and they scheduled me right away and I had a new retainer in 2 days time. It was quick, easy and awesome!

Dr. Sellers and his staff are the best in the business. They are all very kind and truly care about the patients. The office runs like a well-oiled machine, so we have never had a wait. My daughter loves going to the orthodontist! ***I originally posted this review five years ago, and since then, my daughter has lost her retainer twice, but the staff at Dr. Sellers's office has gotten us in quickly both times to make new ones. They make new ones from new molds each time, which I love, because it keeps up with any new or emerging teeth. Thank you to Dr. Sellers and staff! Y'all truly are the best in the business!***

Dr. Sellers and his team is the the best of the best...Professional, trustworthy, caring, great bedside manner. They took care of our entire family for several years and we all had spectacular results. We initially started with another orthodontist in town. He wanted to break my daughter's jaw, but we decided to get a second opinion. Several friends highly recommended Dr. Sellers. After our consultation, Dr. Sellers said he could correct the problem without surgery...And he did! Our daughter now has a beautiful smile! We highly recommend Dr. Sellers and his amazing staff.
