Ive been practicing dentistry for more than 30 years. My profession doesnt feel like work to me: its a way of helping others, assisting each patient as they achieve their treatment goals and celebrating their healthy smiles.

I am extremely thorough when developing an individuals treatment plan. This ensures my patient develops optimal form and function, which improves their dental and overall health and has the added benefit of being aesthetically pleasing. A big smile at the end of a procedure is the best compliment I can receive!

I am attuned to patients emotional concerns, and strive to set each person at ease. I want people to relax during visits, knowing theyre in competent, caring hands. As an independent practice, we set our schedule and make sure each patient has plenty of time. I dont want anyone to feel rushed through a visit, and make plenty of time to sit, listen, and joke with each patient. Sharing stories and laughing together is part of every interaction.

Each year Dr. Seligman attends many continuing education programs and conferences. It is at these meetings, seminars, and lectures that he stays current with State-of-the-Art techniques. These continuing dental education programs assures that he learns thenewest techniques and technologies toprovide patients with optimum health and aesthetic results.

In addition to general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry courses, Dr. Seligman studies CEREC and Invisalign. He also completes classes on OSHA andHIPAA, infection control and how to address opiate prescription writing.

Dr. Seligman lives in the South End area with his husband, Joe. He has two stepchildren, a daughter-in-law, and sixgrandchildren. When theyre not working, the couple enjoys time at their place in Provincetown, and traveling.

Dr. Seligman likes to stay active: swimming with a master swim program and competing regularly with the local team, LANES. He also loves skiing,bikeing, gardening and getting to the gym as often as possible. Cooking and eating are high priorities, too.

As a periodontal specialist, I have the ability to give patients many years of eating, smiling, and laughing. I take pride in knowing that I help patients with their oral health, as well as overall health.

Our first choice in dentistry is always to try to save the tooth or teeth, but when saving teeth is not possible, dental implants often are. Replacing missing teeth with implants can restore missing teeth and in some cases help prevent the need for dentures. It has been my pleasure to make my patients mouths healthier and saving teeth and smiles since 1997.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implants (board certified), Dr. Smith is required to continue her education for recertification every six years. She attends the American Academy of Periodontology annual meetings, and the Quintessence International Symposium on Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, to stay at the forefront of periodontal treatments and technology.

A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Smith returned to Boston permanently in 2008 after having spent a few years living in Back Bay in the 1990s. If you ask her, Theres no place else Id rather live. When Dr. Smith is not busy saving teeth, she loves to travel. In cold weather, she makes it her goal to visit warm destinations.

In the warmer Boston weather, Dr. Smith enjoys gardening in her community garden at the Fenway Victory Garden. In addition to her plot there, Dr. Smith volunteers at their community participation days. She is one of a community of gardeners who all help to share seedlings, mend fences, and share the bounties of their gardens.

The best part of being a dental hygienist is working with people from all walks of life, learning about them over the years, and building great rapport. I believe the relationships that I create help patients to feel more relaxed and comfortable, because they know I genuinely care about them as people, not just as patients.

I began working in dentistry in 1996when I graduated with my B.S. in dental hygiene from Northeastern University, and earned an advanced degree in dental hygiene from Forsyth Institute. I joined Dr. Seligmans team in 2004. As an office, we hold ourselves to a higher standard to ensure that patients receive the greatest quality of dental care. We treat one another, and our patients, with respect.

I look forward to seeing and talking with my patients. Ive known many of them for more than 20 years and they feel like family. Our practice strives for excellence every day by providing quality care thats personalized to each patients needs and goals, and I love being part of this team.

I examine patients for signs of oral issues, including cavities and gum disease, and offer preventive dental hygiene care. I clean teeth through scaling and root planing and educate each patient on ways to improve and maintain optimal oral health.

My main focus is on the financial administration of the business office. I am also part of the front-office team, where we work to give patients the help, support, and encouragement they need to make their relationship with our office a WOW experience.

Im married and have two sons, four grandchildren, and a Siamese cat named Arlo. My passion is cooking for my big Italian family and enjoying our vacations together. In my leisure time I love to garden, read, and play golf. I am also very involved in my church: I serve on several committees and reach out to newcomers in our community.

I like coming to work, where I see familiar faces and meet new people each day. Its fulfilling to be part of a dental practice where we trust and support each other. That allows us to provide the strongest care and most positive atmosphere to our patient family.

I wear two hats in our office. As insurance coordinator, I handle filing and follow up on all insurance claims. Im also a dental assistant and work in the clinic, where I assist Dr. Smith with periodontal procedures.

Ive always been the type of person who seeks out and takes on new challenges and adventures. I have a passion for traveling, and learning about new cultures and foods. I love the outdoors and exploring New England with my fianc and my dog, Ruffo. Theres always something to do here, whatever the season!

I enjoy staying active and getting my daily exercise after work, as well as going for long walks when the weather is nice. Playing with my silly hamster named Elsa and Beta fish named Nemo gives me joy. I love finding new adventures to do with my long-term boyfriend Nick and spending time with my family and twin sister Ashley.
