I thought they were a good choice the first time I went for my teeth cleaning, however, when I went the second time for my wisdom teeth, I had the option to get sedated by the laughing gas (which I did). I then made my second appointment for tomorrow and was called back and told that Dr. Moufida is refusing me as a patient for the way I acted (when I'm laughing gas). It firstly should be understandable that patients are already nervous when coming in for doctors/dentist appointments, and also should be expected that the patient won't be completely normal after being sedated by laughing gas... she then advises me to go to another dentist to be completely IV sedated only for a teeth bonding which takes 2-3 minutes to get done.. I usually never do reviews but this place definitely deserves a bad one. Extremely disappointed.

Professional and courteous staff. Our entire family goes to see Dr Khalife . She is a true dedicated professional. Her expertise, knowledge and skill are exceptional. Laila, is a very gentle and caring Hygienist. She puts the needs of the patient first. My entire family has been coming to see Dr. Khalife and her team for many years. We are planning to continue for many more years to come. Sylvia, Sherry, Naji, Batoul, Salah, and Amber all work together as a great team that compliments one another. Very compassionate staff. They really do care about your dental needs and are very professional. The staff along with the dentist explains and answers all questions to satisfaction. Please keep up the excellent work that you do for your clients.

Do not go here!! I had healthy teeth and gums when I walked into this place and I walked out being told I had 12 cavities and severe periodontitis. I'd give anything to go back in time and undo the work I've had done by Select Dental. I ended up having all 12 cavities done in the same day because I had a one month old so I wasn't able to make numerous appointments. Come to find out every one of those cavity fillings was unnecessary and I've had fillings breaking CONSTANTLY for the past two years. I've paid just over $6,000 out of pocket for numerous cavities, root canals, and even had two of my teeth pulled because I couldn't afford any more dental work. I was also just diagnosed with TMJ due to grinding ( most likely from all of the stress I've endured from all of the dental work I've had done in the past 2 years) I went back and saw the dentist I grew up with and he looked at my most recent X-rays and said I didn't have a single cavity. I have truly been in a world of pain in the past two years, I've called their office and the female dentist who did all of my cavities will not speak to me or respond in any way. So unfortunate how evil people are these days just to make a quick buck.

Broke a Tooth During Eating Food, Called in and Set up Appointmen t immediately within 24 hours emergency during holiday. Dr. Moufida and her associates were great. Did not have any insurance but worked with some discounts was not so bad considering the location and standard of the clinic it is not one of those cheap places. Doctor is very helpful and explains the procedure both in technical and non technical terms, was in and out painless and active within 1 hour or less. Performed one Tooth Filling with composite material.Good Experience, hope not to return in such situation soon, but recommended for anyone having tooth emergency in the area.

Dr. Khalifa has been a lifesaver. I switched over to her after not trusting my previous dentists opinions and I couldn't be happier. What I appreciate about Dr. Khalifa is the trust she worked hard to develop with me and the care she takes. I would recommend her to my family & friends without hesitation!

Best dentist I've found in MI! Serious, they care truly about my dental health and know a lot about dental hygiene. They got me in once when I had an emergency too. Lyla is a great hygienist and she knows a lot! Dr graduated from UM and teaches there sometimes I think. Great people.

Do not go here unless you want chronic pain from a routine dental filling procedure and Dr. Khalife to tell you there is nothing more she can do for me. Dr. Khalife convinced me to replace 4 of my silver fillings with composite. I paid $100 out of pocket after insurance for a procedure that left me with 3.5 months of worsening pain. I went back to see her after 2 weeks of pain not improving and she adjusted my bite as it was way off. After that I waited another 3 weeks with unchanging pain and sensitivity to anything hot or cold. When I went back she told me "Your x-rays look fine, some people just take longer to heal, there is nothing more I can do, I don't want to redo the fillings and possibly make things worse." I walked out with tears in my eyes and then sought a second opinion from a more compassionate DDS. This compassionate DDS told me that I had 4 options. I ultimately ended up choosing the option to redo the problematic fillings (2 of the 4) and instantly my chronic pain with all eating had been alleviated! I am so glad I went with a more thorough dentist who actually spent 2 hours meticulously redoing 2 of the fillings (finding a spot of decay Dr. Khalife had missed). Where as Dr. Khalife spent about 1 hour doing 4 fillings. I additionally felt like Dr. Khalife was always in a rush to get somewhere else (the next patient, etc.) and that she didn't want to take the time to explain anything to me or show even an ounce of empathy/sympathy for having pain with all eating. Safe to say I will not be back. I hope Dr. Khalife can learn to show a bit more compassion for individuals suffering from chronic pain that she caused with her lack of thoroughness. I just wish I could get my $100 back as I am sure my insurance will not pay for the same procedure on the same teeth. Not only was my quality of life negatively affected, but my financial wellness, too.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday at this business. I found the staff to be personable, happy, and most importantly knowledgeable. Each staff member I posed a question to answered my questions in detail. I was impressed by their caring attitude as well.

Do not go here!! I question the ethics and integrity of this office and staff. The dentist visit consisted of being harassed by the hygienist/dentist saying I need braces, a crown, 11 cavities, have poor spacing in my gums, poor breathing through my nose where I might need treatment, among other "issues." The hygienist also wanted to sell me a prescription for fluoride toothpaste and give me fluoride after my cleaning which is not covered by insurance for adults. Something felt completely off as I have historically had healthy teeth and the entire visit felt like an aggressive sales pitch. Luckily, I went to get a second opinion from another dentist who I trust. Turns out I have 0 cavities, need 0 work done and have healthy gums. If anyone else is having experiences like this please speak up because it is not fair the way they are taking advantage of people. Dentistry is about personal health and taking care of the patient, not about convincing and "scaring" a patient to get a number of intrusive and expensive treatments that they do not need. Avoid at all costs!
