I have had countless amounts of frustrating experiences with this dental office. Nothing but massive oversights and miscommunications about billing and cost. When I had a procedure done here and had complications in recovery they wouldn't disclose what was causing the complications until coming in multiple times after surgery. I also keep randomly receiving bills from this office that were not discussed in a consultation prior to my procedure. The day of my surgery which was running 2 hours late due to complications of another procedure with a different patient I was told I had to pay the entirety of the cost of my surgery up front when before the office told me that I could finance the surgery. I also feel pressured by them to keep getting a non necessary cosmetic procedure done, and when I have said in the past that it's too costly ($20,000) they say there are financing options (which they told me the first time I had surgery and clearly that wasn't the case) and bring up having this procedure every time I go. It's frustrating, exhausting and frustrating and not very transparent with the patients.

I was referred to this office to see an oral surgeon named Dr. Oscar Alonzo. From the start of the visit I was very impressed with how professional and nice the assistants were. None of them had attitudes or spoke to you in a rude way. Doctor Oscar explained everything that needed to be done to get me to perfect oral health. Within days there was an opening to do the surgery. I was terrified but they all assured me that they would take good care of me and that everything would be fine. After the procedure they were all very thorough with the steps I needed to take to make sure I took good care of the operated area. To top it off the prices were reasonable and I was able to get what I needed done. Everyone in that office should be proud of themselves and of the good work they bring forth because it is hard work working in the dental field. Thank you for all the amazing attitudes you guys had. Great team.

I went to Select Dental & Orthodontics to get a root canal. The endodontist, Dr. Samantha Besser, was amazing. Dr. Besser's turned what could have been a very unpleasant experience into something worthy of compliment. Great job by Dr. Besser and thank you to the very professional front office staff.

Dr. Salo is incredibly knowledgeable and truly a one-of-a-kind dentist. I've gotten to know the team and Dr. Salo over the years and they always make you feel comfortable and at ease here. I've never had to deal with long waiting times or have never been given the runaround, which many other dental offices are notorious for. I also bring my daughter here and she recently finished her Invisalign treatment and her teeth look incredible. 10/10 would highly recommend.

My family and I have been coming to Select Dental for years. We've never had a negative experience here. Everyone who works here is amazing and I couldn't recommend them enough. If you're looking for a top-notch dentist, then Select Dental is the place for you!

My experience is always a positive one! From the kind front office staff, to the gentle and accommodating Kelsey the hygienist, to Quynh who always makes sure that things run smoothly. Cumulatively, my family has been treated by just about every specialty in the office, and we are grateful to be able to have all of our dental needs met by a collaborative staff under one roof. Dr Brandon and his team who gave my children excellent orthodontic care, Dr Salo and Dr Gangel who have given us excellent dental care, and Dr Alonzo who safely performed tooth extractions and wisdom teeth removal on my children. The office is very pleasant, clean and organized, and we appreciate it!

Dr. Salo and team at Select Dental provide excellent service and the office is really nice! But when it comes to sports talk etc. I'm not quite convinced by him yet! Lol! Overall whether you need serious dental work or just routine maintenance I would definitely recommend Select Dental Group for all your dental care...

I have been a patient at this office since 2005, have had extensive work done to my teeth and gums. I have never had a bad experience with the dentist or hygienist. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly.

This Dental office and its staff are outstanding! In the confusing universe of LA Dentistry and the expensive billing practices that often encircle it...This office provides patient care first, detailed review of services and realistic fees. This was my first visit to this office and I will remain a patient, In-depth RC and crown treatment were provided with the utmost care and concern for my discomfort and pain. This review shall act as an accurate review of my visit in Feb 2021, foregoing my above expectations were met and the patient care was thorough and comforting. I highly recommend this dental practice, and it's combined staff and physicians.

I'm taking my business somewhere else. Very Disappointed with the lady at the front desk that helped me when I was leaving yesterday, I asked her if my insurance would cover my fluoride treatment and she responded "is $45.00 sir" I handed her my debit card and I entered my pin code to pay, she demanded that I sign a paper that clearly said " no signature required" she insisted that I sign and just said "just sign sir" I refused to sign, she called me rude and referred me to her manager, the manager agreed that I didn't need to sign. Her attitude was as if I was bothering her. She doesn't appreciate my business and because of her I'm taking my business somewhere else

I have had a great experience with the dentist at Select Dental Group & Orthodontics. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable which has helped ease my anxiety about going to the dentist. I have had many bad experiences with going to the dentist in the past but Dr. Gangel, Dr. Besser, & Dr. Brandon and the other dental hygenist have made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I appreciate their expertise and their friendliness has made me feel comfortable about going to the dentist & doing my regular check ups.

Came here in 2016, liked it & Dr. Renate G. Changed insurance & had to leave, but back now and so thankful. I like this office & Dr. Renate G. very much. Everyone is professional and kind. Dr. Renate is informative, friendly and makes suggestions on the care of my teeth that I agree with, no oversell! Glad to be back here.

Hands down the best dental experience all around from fillings to root canals to caps. This place has done wonders for my dental health. i simply cannot recommend the office of Dr. Salo enough.
