I grew up in South Jordan, Utah where I studied Public Health with a minor in Chemistry at Utah State University and worked as a Safety and Health Advisor at Kennecott Utah Copper. After a couple of years in the health and safety industry I attended and graduated from the University Of Michigan, School Of Dentistry. I served for two years in Southern Brazil on a mission for the LDS Church, and I speak fluent Portuguese and even some Spanish!
I enjoy camping, snowboarding and working on cars (even if theyre not always mine!). I love being outdoors and spending time with my wife Elise, our two daughters (Makaylee and Peyton) and our sons (Jackson and Caleb). We are honored to call Selah home and to be a part of this truly awesome community.
It has been an amazing 7 years working at Selah Family Dentistry, we have an incredible team and Dr. Labrum is not only a great dentist but a great boss. Our office is always full of fun and laughter and we treat our patients like family. I grew up in Monterey, CA then moved to Yakima in 2006. I graduated from West Valley High in 2008, which is where I met my husband Nick. Nick and I have been together since 2009, and married in 2014. I am super fun loving, and I love to laugh. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, going to 3D archery competitions, hunting, watching football, and playing with our dog, Carhartt. I also enjoy working out, listening to country music, going to EDM concerts, and hanging out around a campfire with friends.
I went to Charter College for Dental Assisting in 2015 and have been with Selah Family Dentistry since 2017. My favorite part about my job is getting people to have fun and feel comfortable at the dentist a place nobody likes to be! Our awesome team will have you feeling right at home and youll forget all your fears of being at the dentist! I hope you enjoy being our patient as much as we enjoy having you here!
I have been in the dental field for quite a few years and in several states including: Florida, where I received my dental assisting degree, Charleston, South Carolina, and here in the Yakima Valley. We moved from South Carolina after visiting Washington on Vacation. I have been with Selah Family Dentistry for over 10 years! My favorite part of my job is that I get to meet so many people. I love to make my patients feel comfortable and do my very best to make them feel welcome.
I have over 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University and played collegiate sports. I love working with a Dental Team that treats patients like Family!
I am so glad you are visiting our website and welcome! I will be one of the first people you talk with when you call or email our office. I have been a part of Selah Family Dentistry for many years. I always look forward to meeting new people, listening to what they need, and finding a way to help them achieve their best smile. I was originally trained as a dental assistant and now I use those skills at the Front Desk to help ensure all aspects of your visit with us are positive, informative and beneficial.
I truly enjoy the wonderful people I work with, but at the end of the day I get to go home to the love of my life and our two kids. We enjoy being outside in the summer, Netflix in the Winter and we try to take motorcycle road trips as often as possible.
I worked my first eight years in this practice as a dental assistant and use that knowledge to help people plan and get the dental care that they need. Part of my job is to assist patients with insurance questions and help them understand their treatment plans. I love to help patients achieve their dental goals!
For the past eight years Ive had the pleasure of working for this office and with this amazing team. I love my job because I get the opportunity to get to know my patients as they come in for dental check-ups and cleanings!
I grew up in East Valley and went to school here in the Yakima Valley. I have four crazy dogs and I have a habit of trying to collect and save more animals. I enjoy reading, watching The Walking Dead, and anything sci-fi!!!
