Selah has always been a special place for me. I met my wife in Selah 10 years ago and I have always felt a wonderful connection with the community. As the owner of Selah Creek Dental, I am committed to helping the community and providing a comfortable and compassionate place to receive dental care. What I enjoy most about being a dentist is really getting to know my patients. I want my patients to feel comfortable talking and sharing their concerns and never feel like just another chart number.
I know I dont like feeling graded by people who are supposed to help me, so our office is a judgment-free zone. Whether it has been 6 months or 60 years since youve been to the dentist, you will be treated with the utmost respect at Selah Creek Dental.
My favorite part about being a dentist is building lasting relationships with my patients. From a babys first tooth all the way to your 100th birthday, my goal is to help all my patients achieve a smile that makes them happy. Happiness is different for everyone, so whether it is helping you get your dream smile, or just keeping your mouth healthy, we are here every step of the way!
I am devoted to creating a relaxing dental environment. We understand that coming to the dentist is not always everyone's favorite part of the day, so we try to promote an atmosphere where we can all laugh, talk, and have an environment where it's okay to be nervous. Although we will always go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable, whether that is using nitrous and medications to relax you, or just joking around.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, golfing (poorly), working out, cheering for the Seahawks (loudly), attempting to cook, and making the best worst dad jokes. I am also a member of the Yakima Dental Society, ADA, and Selah Chamber of Commerce.

This was my first time at Selah Creek Dental and I have to say, this was by far the best dental service I've ever experienced. From Christina answering all of my insurance questions and working around my hectic schedule, yo Dr. McKay answering my questions, and Yesenia and Bridget doing my exam and filling...nothing but GREAT service. I highly recommend this office!

I am a new patient and everyone was on their "A" game, nice and knew what they were doing. I didn't wait at all & everything went smooth even my whole lotta treatment plan :))) isn't that always go when you try and stay away especially from Dentists so I have a long road ahead....and I'm ready!

This is the second review I am giving Dr. McKay along with his staff and all I have to say are good things. From the good doctor, to the front office manager Sandra, to her scheduling assistance Yachty, I am so sorry I know that spelled wrong, to Priscilla and all of the other office staff that I haven't had as much contact with you are wonderful! Your team has been working on my teeth for maybe three years and even if there's a bump in the road you all have made it easy to talk about it and resolve. Of course nothing major it has ever happened but it's still very professional and kind when Dr. McKay and his staff are willing to listen and explain things to me when I need that extra help and reassurance. Keep up the good work team! And the office looks great
