Dr. Joshua Bullock was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he grew up with 4 sisters and one brother. Josh was a very active child, with a special interest in bicycles developing through adolescence. Josh worked in a bike shop through high school and after graduating from Dobson High he elected to serve a 2-year church service mission for the LDS church in St. Louis Missouri. Joshs interest in dentistry began during high school and was cemented while serving a mission. It became his goal while on his mission to attend Brigham Young University to prepare for a career in dentistry.

While attending BYU Josh majored in Exercise Science and minored in Chemistry. He was active in the pre-dental club and served as president of the club during his senior year. He was also active in volunteering and served as volunteer coordinator for Give Kids a Smile four times. This helped influence his decision to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. Perhaps the most important event during his time at BYU was meeting his beautiful wife Jourdan. They were married in 2011. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, Josh was accepted to Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine.

During his studies at Roseman, treating patients and learning more about the practice of dentistry shaped his desire to provide the best possible oral health care to under-served pediatric populations. Josh was awarded a scholarship from the National Health Service Corps, one of only 27 dental students across the country to receive the award. Upon completion of dental school, Josh matched to the highly regarded Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry through NYU-Langone in Anchorage Alaska, and served as Chief Resident during the final year.

Josh, his wife Jourdan, and their four children Teddy- 7, Sage- 5, Clae- 3, and Flora- 10 months live in Carl Junction, MO and love to spend time together outside- hiking, camping, fishing, riding bikes, playing sports and enjoying nature. Dr. Josh is thrilled to work for Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas and to be able to provide high quality pediatric dentistry to all children in Southeast Kansas.

Dr. Amy Gensweider grew up in southeast Kansas. She received her bachelor of science in biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas and was accepted into the University of Missouri-Kansas City Dental School. After dental school, she worked in Coffeyville, Kansas at the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas. She decided after four years of service that her passion was treating children. She returnedfor her postgraduate education and training specializing in pediatric dentistry at the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She has now returned home for care for the children of her community.

Dr. Amy is married and lives in southeast Kansas. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their beautiful son, Leo, and two dogs. Dr. Amy and her husband are expecting their second child July of 2021 and they could not be more excited to expand their family in the community they love.
