Dr. Deshmukh (also known as Dr. D) brings nearly a decade of experience in periodontology. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest level of distinction for periodontal specialists. Her clinical expertise is in periodontal surgeries, dental implants, implant site preparations, regenerative procedures, and mucogingival plastic surgeries. Dr.D is passionate about enhancing the quality of the patients oral health that in turn can change their lives through the power of dentistry. Dr. D says, What motivates me the most is to see a change in my patients raised self-esteem as a result of a little contribution that I have made through my work.
Dr. D was recently featured inBoston Magazineas one of the 2018 Top Dentists. Her work is informed by a deep understanding of periodontal techniques, research, and clinical practice. Prior to joining our team, Dr. D practiced as a periodontist at the Boston University Dental Health Center and was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Boston University. As a periodontist and an educator, she performed numerous complex procedures and instructed predoctoral and postdoctoral students and residents in several aspects of periodontal diseases and treatment. She is particularly interested in applying innovative techniques in periodontology that result in improved outcomes.
Dr. D holds a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) (2004), a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Periodontology and Dental Implantology (2010), and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Boston University (2017). She is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Nilay and two daughters Aadya and Shreya. She also enjoys socializing with her multitude of friends, reading, listening to music, dancing, and traveling.
Dr. Donald E. Fisher was a devoted, caring practitioner at our office which he established 40 years ago. His honest, direct approach with his patients and staff, along with his quick wit and generous nature were just a few of his many admired qualities. In addition to his professional career, Dr. Fisher was always busy with a project, hobby, creative pursuit or embarking upon some marvelous adventure!! He loved to travel and especially enjoyed scuba diving along with his talent for underwater photography and could often be seen riding around town on his bicycle. Probably one of his greatest personal achievements was his attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking nearly 11,000 feet up the mountain!
Dr. Fisher was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was dedicated to his staff as well as his friend and colleague, Dr. Sein Siao. He was a very special man who was unique and dynamic and he'll always be held dear in our hearts.

When my long-time dentist retired, Dr. Siao was recommended to me. Melissa did a thorough scaling and then Dr. Siao came in for an examination. The doctor and staff were very thorough and professional. It was a positive first impression.

My entire family have been dental patients of Dr. Siao and Associates. We were lucky we found a great dentist office for all of us. It's not just the doctors that are great, I love seeing the entire staff when I go. It's a great place and highly recommended. Patrick and Jeanue B.

Very satisfied with many years of root canals, crowns, nightguards, and gentle-thorough cleanings. Dr. Siao and staff are highly skilled professionals who make you feel personally cared for. I trust them so much that I often relax and almost fall asleep in the dentist's chair!

I had another wonderful dental cleaning appointment with Kristen today. Kristen is terrific. She is professional and kind. She has a gentle touch. She checks in as she's working. I highly recommend this dental office. I trust Dr. Siao to do all my dental work.

Relationships with dentist are so personal. You only have one shot at keeping a nice, healthy mouth, and you have to trust that they are recommending the right things (without over-recommending things that aren't necessary). I had a wonderful first impression with Dr. Un. I was looking for a new dentist, because my previous dentist had sold her practice, and I didn't have a good vibe from the new dentist. He suddenly recommended a lot of work that seemed unusual, since I'm so good with keeping up with my dental cleanings and any work that needs to be done. After research and asking local friends, I made an appointment with Dr. Siao and Dr. Un's office. Dr. Un looked at my mouth and the x-rays from my previous dentist and gave me a recommendation that I felt much more comfortable with. It was much more reasonable, and what I had been thinking in my head all along. I'm now a regular patient. :)

If I could leave no stars, I would. The office receptionists are rude and scheduling is difficult and uncoordinated. You are just a number and they move people through the clinic so quickly that they are skimping in quality cleanings. Specifically, the hygienists spend almost no time cleaning the kids teeth. A half hour appointment is done in 8 minutes--it amounts to a long tooth brushing, but no thorough cleaning. The end result is your child has cavities.
