Dr. Seghers was born and raised in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and currently resides in Colleyville with his wife, Alli. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Seghers majored in Biomedical Science and enjoyed attending A&M football games during his stay in College Station.
Dr. Seghers received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio receiving Magna Cum Laude honors. He continues to sharpen his skills and knowledge with the many continuing education courses in which he participates throughout the years. This continuing learning has been fundamental in shaping Dr. Seghers belief system in the importance of oral health and its effects on the human body. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Dental Implant Association and Mensa.
His hobbies include wakeboarding, water skiing, snow skiing, jogging, dining with friends and watching his alma mater on Saturdays. He and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their two newest additions, Creighton and Harper. Dr. Seghers feels that optimum oral health is the cornerstone for a healthy lifestyle. His goal is to provide each and every patient with quality, comprehensive dental treatment. His staff is extremely knowledgeable and will assist in any way possible to make your dental visit in our office an enjoyable and stress-free experience.

Every single time I come here (biannually), Dr Seghers tells me I have one or two new cavities after looking around my mouth for what seems like 1 minute tops. He seems rushed when I ask questions and doesn't really explain how I can prevent it, or reasons I could have gotten it. He doesn't give detailed explanations on whether I should wait to see if it gets better, or if there are alternatives to drilling out large parts of my healthy tooth. Also, he does really big fillings and I wonder if i could have lost less tooth if he had minimized drilling out healthy tooth instead of just drilling out whatever to get the decay out. I've had like 5 fillings done (a few of them were huge) and my new dentist says the big ones will need crowns in the future and that it's odd that my relatively healthy teeth would have had so much decay. Seghers never told me about the long term that these fillings will cause. I think they follow a very aggressively preventative filling policy here and that's just not it for me.

Friendly and efficient dentist office. I've been to a lot of dentists and had a lot of dental work done - Dr. Seghers is one of the few dentists I trust and he stays up to date with the latest technologies. The only improvement I can think of is online payments would be nice.

Dr. Seghers has been my dentist for the past 12 years. I've had my experiences with other dentist who are dishonest & super pushy. Dr. Seghers is honest & gives options for treatments. He has great bedside manner & is awesome at giving shots! All the girls there are super sweet and go out of their way to make my family & I feel special! I have been going to Dr. Seghers for about 3 years now. Both the Dr an his staff are all so friendly and helpful!! I really enjoy my visits there and they really know how to make you feel so comfortable. I'm so glad I was able to find them and will continue to go in the years to come.

This dentist office is the best. Everything about it is great. The staff is warm, friendly, caring. Facilities are super clean. Dr. Seghers is really nice and patient. He doesnt push you to get unnecessary procedures but lays out all the facts and will lets you decide. They really try to work with your schedule and, last but not least, they are so great with my kids! Love this office and all the people here.

Seghers Family Dental is first rate. I had to cancel my original appointment and when I began trying to secure a new one Lori was quite diligent in trying to find me a spot; which she did. Hygienist is always excellent and gave me some good tips too. Doc Seghers is just plain awesome. Having had the same dentist since I had teeth I wondered about the change. Couldn't have been more prefect. See y'all in 6 months. :D
