Dr. Sedwick is a general dentist, originally from Hawaii, she moved to Indiana for Dental School.Prior todental school Dr. Sedwick earnedher BS in Biology before attendingIndiana University School of Dentistrywhere she earned her DDS. She has been caring for patients and enhancing smiles since graduating dental school in 2004, andhasbeen providing exceptional care to patients ofGeorgetown Family Dental for 10 years.She is a member ofthe American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, as well as theSouthern Indiana Dental Association. She is trained in providing advanced care with DOCS Oral Sedation, Invisalign, Clear Correct, Rotary Endo, as well as the CEREC. She loves every aspect of her job fromgetting to knowpatients, providing quality care, andlearning aboutthe cuttingedge of the newestdental technology. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking and playing tennis.

Amber is the friendly face you see upon entering the office, she is our Patient Coordinator. She will help with any schedule adjustments, insurance concerns, or account needs you may have.Amber got her Associates Degree in Office Administration, and hasbeen working here at Georgetown Family Dental since 2013. She has been involvedin the dental field since 2004. She likes to go on vacation, travel with friends and also enjoys cracking jokes.
Lesley isone of our dental hygienists. She graduated from University of LouisvilleSchool of Dentistry in 1997 with a Bachelorsdegree in Science andDental Hygiene. Lesley enjoys working withevery patient to help provide them with the knowledgeto achieve a healthy smile. She is very gentle,charismatic, andtreats every patient with the utmost care.Lesley has worked in the dental field for over20 years, and hereat Georgetown Family Dental for 19 years. She enjoys the relationship she has been able to developwith our patients throughout the years. Shesays one of the perks of working at Georgetown FamilyDental is getting to work within the community in which she lives. Shelikes to spend time with her friends and family.Her and her husband, Kevin, have two children.
Kacey is also one of our dental hygienists. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Scienceand Dental Hygiene. Kacey is also certified to administer local anesthesia. She enjoys cleaning teeth, providing a gentle touch that patients can trust, and learning about the newest dental techniques. She has been working at Georgetown Family Dental since 2013.When she is not working shelikes to run road races, exercise, and spend time with her husband, son and dog.
Steff is an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA), she earned her degree from the University of Louisville in 2015. She previously attended Plaza Dental Assisting School prior to getting her certification as an EDDA. Steff enjoys learning new techniques and broadening her dental knowledge in order to provide enhanced patient care, she has become veryknowledgeable with CEREC and same day crowns in the past few years.Steff's hobbies include camping and going on vacations. She enjoys spending as much time as she can with her husband, son and daughter.

I'm a chicken in the dentist's chair, but Dr. Sedgwick & staff always put me at ease. Got kids? Dr. Sedgwick & staff are great with them, too. This dental office is an absolute gem, and this level of care is hard to find, especially in a small town. We're very lucky to have them. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

If you are looking for someone to put you at ease in the dentist chair, Dr. Sedwick and her staff will do just that! They are skilled, kind & gentle too. As always, my recent appointment time was started on time and thorough. Leslie & Dr. Sedwick are always friendly and skilled... with a smile! Even though that smile was behind a mask this time, I could still see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices. They were very well dressed with regard to our COVID pandemic situation. It was very obvious that they take my health and theirs very seriously. THANK YOU for all the extra precautions you have put in place. You are the BEST!

From receptionists, to dental hygienests, to Dr. Sedwick, these ladies are down to earth and friendly as can be. They answer all questions with genuine interest and PATIENCE. They inform you thoroughly, but will NOT try to push any treatment on you. When, if, and how you want to proceed is totally/completely in your control.....(unless the patient doesn't know what decision to make, and asks for their guidance. In that case they will help them to choose the best course of action to take.) In summary, there are dentists who have great technical skills but lack bedside manner. And there are dentists with great bedside manner but lack the technical skills. Dr. Sedwick and staff have BOTH! I have been to many dentists over my 62 years, so am definitely qualified to critique them. And I can guarantee that they are better than just "good". They're exceptional! I will never go to any other dentist again. I am truly fortunate to have found such a "goldmine" in the dental industry!

Dr Sedwick is fantastic. Needless to say I have numerous cavities and when Dr Sedwick fills them she is very gentle and empathetic for any discomfort or pain which doesn't happen with her.
