Dr. Hansrolf H. Gruener has been practicing in Sedro-Woolley for over 35 years. He graduated with his masters degree in dentistry from the University of Washington in 1983 and majored in microbiology and immunology as an undergraduate. He continues his education all year long to remain up to date on the most recent dental practices.
Dr. Gruener has advanced training in implant restoration from the Zimmer Institute and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Washington State Dental Association. He has received numerous Peoples Choice Awards. His goal as a dentist is to provide people with excellent, gentle dental care at an affordable price.
Lizeth joined our team in August 2016. She graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in 2007. She brings a sense of calm to our practice and is a great listener. Her cheerful, engaging personality is valuable to both our team and our patients.
Joanna joined our Sedro-Woolley Family Dental Center in May 2017. She graduated from Soledad High School in 2012, and went on to graduate from charter college with her dental assisting degree in 2016. Joanna helps our practice run smoothly. She approaches every challenge with a smile, and her upbeat personality helps put our patients at ease. Joanna loves working with the highest quality goofballs around! Our team works together to provide the best possible dental care to our patients.
Melissa, or Maw, became a registered dental assistant and started working at our practice on April 29, 1996. She grew up here in Sedro-Woolley and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School. She loves our community and has given back by serving as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for several years. Her favorite part of working at Sedro-Woolley Family Dental Center is Dr. Gruener. Our patients enjoy working with him and love his incredible sense of humor. Melissa is proud to work with a wonderful, skilled and ethical dentist.
Melissa contributes to our practice with her warm and friendly approach. In her spare time, she loves to run because it clears her head and allows for self-reflection. She is married to her husband, Dave, and has three children, Matt, Sarah and Laura.

This has been our family's dentistry office for many years. The staff is extremely pleasant and professional I just wish that the job done on my granddaughters front tooth was as professional as the staff. I brought my beautiful granddaughter with a chipped front tooth for the dentist to repair. Dr Stone who claims to be a cosmetic dentist did a very very poor job at fixing my granddaughters tooth. Was too short and crooked. We let him know while she was still in the chair that the job was unexceptionable. Dr stone claimed that this was all he could do at that time and to make another appointment in 6 weeks. We also offered to pay out of pocket for him to correct the tooth and was refused. Frankly in my opinion this was outside his comfort zone. We immediately took my granddaughter to another dental office. They were shocked at the quality of work that was performed on the tooth. They immediately repaired the tooth which now looks absolutely amazing. No star rating for Dr Stone. I think we found our new dentist office.

The staff here is genuinely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to accommodate patient needs and to be responsive in every way. I never feel hurried, rushed, or like I am part of an assembly line. Treatment is thoughtfully decided and I feel like part of the decision making team. The atmosphere is relaxed, and if it's possible to have fun at the dentist, this is the place! They are truly a nice bunch of folks.

I broke off a large chunk of a molar tooth, and the people at Sedro Woolley Faimly Dental Center fixed my tooth with a beautiful porcelain crown. The experience was great, it's hard to laugh when the dentist has his fingers in your mouth! It was all totally pain free, and my tooth feels great. My sincere thanks.

Dr. Gruener got me in on the same day ! I broke off the side of one of my teeth (the filling was 27 years old...he looked up my records). Took an X-ray & no root canal needed. I'm scheduled for my crown prep Thanks for fitting me - especially with Dr. Stone off for 2 weeks! Much appreciated
