Dr. Acevedo began private practice in Colorado in 1985. As he built a brand new practice originally located in Thornton, he served as a staff dentist for Salude Del Valle Dental Clinics from 1983 to 1987, and was an associate dentist for a large downtown Denver dental office.
Dr. Acevedo graduated from the University of Iowa with Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1982. After dental school, he completed a general dentistry hospital residency program in 1983. This valuable time was spent gaining experience in more complex dental treatment plans, oral surgery, and medically compromised patients.
After practicing dentistry for over 30 years, he still enjoys the people part of dentistry, and he finds helping make patients comfortable rewarding. He keeps his abilities and skills updated with continuing education classes including dental implant placement, lasers in dentistry, Botox and dermal fillers.
Dr. Choi moved to Colorado and joined the Sedona Dental team in 2003. He grew up in North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He graduated from the Indiana School of Dentistry in 2002. After dental school, Dr. Choi completed his practice residency in Madison, WI where he became proficient in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Choi is committed to continuing education and has completed extensive courses on implant placement and restoration.
Dr. Choi is a caring and practical dentist. He enjoys building long term relationships with his patients and truly cares for their well being. In his free time, Dr. Choi enjoys many of Colorado's outdoor activities especially skiing, golfing, and fishing. He ran his first marathon last year and hopes to do more in the future.

I loved my dentist! I am the biggest baby when it comes to getting work done but he made sure that I was not in pain. Natasha was great also,I work nights and she made sure my appointments fit my schedule. Everyone there was very friendly.

I have been going to Sedona dental for 5 years now, and have always excellent service. Dr. Park has given me a root canal, and 2 crowns, and has done an outstanding job on both. I get cleanings, and checkups every six months and every hygienist there are very professional, and do a great job. Everyone from the receptionist to the people in the back are friendly, and and make you feel comfortable. There is a reason Dr. Park has won so many awards.

My hygienist always remembers me and anything I have told her in previous visits. She is gentle on my gums and teeth. I love this place! Very personable and friendly. They are always very friendly at reception area as well. The dentist is also very professional and friendly. I can get in and out of this office quickly. I have been going here for more than 15 years and can not find an experience greater than this one. I wished they had offices north and closer to my home location. It is still worth the drive!

I have used Dr. Park as my dentist for 8 years since I moved to Colorado and have had nothing but pleasant and wonderful experiences! I have never experienced such a gentle, honest and caring dentist. Dr. Park has fixed several cavities and broken teeth. I have even experienced getting crowns completed with Dr. Park and they looked like my own teeth. One time my mouth was open for at least an hour and I thought for sure I would be sore. That afternoon and even the next day, I felt nothing. It truly amazed me. His mannerisms were very concerned and reassuring. He is very trustworthy, honest and excellent dentist. He does things to perfection. Thank you Dr. Park for making my dental experiences exceptional!!

Dr. Park has been my family's dentist for many years and we fully trust him. He's professional, patient, kind and competent. He's very careful to explain what to expect and performs procedures with meticulous care. I recently cracked a tooth and he was able to get me in the same day. He prepared the tooth for a temporary and made sure it would last through an upcoming trip I had planned. Without Dr. Park's quick assistance, I could have waited days at other offices and I wouldn't have felt comfortable leaving town with a temporary. The crown he fitted is perfect, the procedure was painless and I have had no further problems. He also has an amazing network of specialists, when my son's wisdom teeth were due to be pulled and when it was discovered that I needed a full gum graft on a portion of my teeth, Dr. Park referred us to the best specialists in town. Both procedures were flawless. I highly recommend Dr. Park, as he has proven to be an excellent dentist and has always exceeded our expectations.

I have been going to Dr park for over 10 years now and there's many reasons why I've been with him for so long. I was referred to him by a good friend after I was frustrated with all the dentist in my neighborhood. He's always been honest, fair and he really does care! There's been more than once where he's helped me out with my dental emergencies. One of the first experiences I had with Dr park I was when I was leaving on a month trip to Taiwan and right before I left, I had the worst tooth ache. I called Dr park right away and he was completely understand and was able to fit me in the next day. Thanks goodness for his help because that 15 hr plane ride would have been torture if it was for his help. Another time the night before I was leaving for Vegas, I ended up rechipping my front tooth and once again, I called him right away. He was so understanding even though he had a full day, he made every efforts to fit me in before my afternoon flight to help me out. That Vegas trip would have turned out a lot different with my chipped tooth looking horrible but instead, I had a great lucky trip. He's well connected with the rest of the dental professionals and have referred me to oral surgeons that absolutely were the best. I'm 40 yrs old and have been though a lot of dentist in the past and there's a reason a I've been with him for so long. I will always appreciate his efforts and understanding and with plenty of reasons why he's the best, the main reason is that I really trust him!
