Dr. Dan Davidian received his Bachelor of Arts at East Carolina University. He continued on to graduate from UNC School of Dentistry with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Davidian has completed additional training in Advanced Life Support Skills at UNC and received his sedation training with the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Medical College of Georgia, and Baylor University
Dr. Davidian trained at Ohio State in advanced Airway Management. He Trained at the Medical College of Georgia and received his IV sedation Certificate as well as additional Advanced Life Support Training. He has worked in and trained at numerous prestigious hospitals and dental facilities including: The Carolinas Medical Center, Kino Community Hospital, and The Fayetteville VA, and he has traveled to other countries volunteering his dental skills.
Dr. Davidian holds a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists: ICOI and has additional training in: complete cosmetic restorations and makeovers, mini-dental implant restoration, and placement for denture stabilization. Same-day implant placement and restoration, and cosmetic and neuromuscular rehabilitation. He has been awarded Americas Top Dentist for 2003 -2021 and continues to enjoy the prestige associated with this great Honor. In addition to being awarded Americas Top Dentist, Dr. Davidian was honored with an induction into Strathmores Whos Who in July 2005.
Dr. Davidian is the Founder ofAnutra Medical that neutralizes and delivers dental anesthesia. This technology helps patients get numb faster, more reliably while reducing discomfort. He enjoys spending his free time with his wonderful wife Tracy, his sons Chaz and Grey. He also cherishes his many worldly travels.
Dr. Tracy Davidian has completed courses at the prestigious Pankey Institute for advanced dental education coupled with cosmetic and neuromuscular rehabilitation courses fromLVI Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studiesand Ross Nash Institute.
Dr. Davidian successfully treats TMD and Migraine patients with a neuromuscular approach at her sister dental practice,Carolina TMJ, in Raleigh.She has extensive training in Oral Facial Pain and its links to Migraines and TMJ/TMD.She attended Montefiore Medical Center in New York, where she received certification in patient management with Oral, IV, and Nitrous Sedation techniques. Dr. Davidian received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at East Carolina University. She then went on to excel in her Dental Career at UNC School of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
She was nominated and received an award for one of Americas Top Dentists in 2003-2021 with the Consumers Research Council. Dr. Davidian is currently a Fellow with the Las Vegas Institute for Neuromuscular and Cosmetic Dentistry, a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, and the Wake County Dental Society. She is a proud mother of her 2 sons, Chaz and Grey.
As a fellow dentist, Dr. Davidian and staff realize the importance of implementing your treatment plan while the patient is in our care. We always send the patient back to you for routine care, unless you request or feel the patient would be better cared for in our office.
I can never say enough good things about all the folks at Sedation Dental Care and Dr. Dan especially. I've been his patient for over 5 years and used to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist - but not anymore. I admire and respect Dr. Dan tremendously and trust him completely - he's simply the best dentist I've ever gone to.
Saw Dr. Dan yesterday for the first time since the pandemic... I was impressed by all the measures he's put in place. No contact with other patients, everyone masked up, and they've installed high tech equipment to decontaminate and circulate the air. I felt extremely comfortable and safe going there.
Dr. Davidian will put you at ease right away with how competent and knowledgeable he is. He'll take the extra time to answer all your questions and make you feel completely comfortable with the procedure. The staff is awesome too and the nicest people - they treat you like family! All I can say is Dr. Dan Davidian is the best dentist I have ever encountered. He is so generous with his time and makes you feel comfortable because he takes the time to explain procedures and answer all your questions. He doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need which I really respect. He is consistently dedicated to making me feel comfortable.
This place was top notch! I was very impressed with their hospitality and kindness! I had a chipped tooth and they saw me quickly, and the process was very smooth! The entire staff is excellent and I can tell they all really care! I will be taking my wife here in the future for her same-day crown as well.
Best dentist I have ever been to! It's not your average dentist that's for sure. The staff are so personable/down to earth which wouldn't be possible without Dr. Davidian! I always look forward to great conversations with the staff. They actually care which is hard to come by these days. I give an A+

Dr. Davidian knows just how administer the pain killing shots so the his work is virtually painless. He also is very much aware of any movements or sounds that might be an indication of any possible discomfort of his patients. I recommend Dr. Davidian to someone who might need a really good dentist!

Update 9-13-22: I moved 2 hours away and I still come here for my dental work. The new female dentist, Dr. Vet, did 4 fillings for me upon my last visit and I almost fell asleep on the 3rd one! I am glad she's a part of this practice now. Many thanks to her and Dr. Dan for their expertise! The staff here and dental assistants are also very much appreciated for their courteous service. Previous review: This is the most "together" dental office I've ever been to. My experience was superior. The staff was very knowledgeable and hospitable. The office was really clean and easy to get to (near the NC Museum of Art). For someone that has very sensitive teeth and was dreading a dental visit (I had not been to one in 7 years), I am not in fear anymore. An old cavity needed a crown and another old mercury-filled cavity was updated with a tooth-colored filling. Karen did my cleaning and it was so pleasant. I can't say enough good things about this practice. I called on a Thursday about the tooth that broke off and received a return call on Friday (which is unheard of because I know a lot of dental offices are closed that day). Thank you for taking care of me and making me smile:()

My experience is always very pleasant. I only wish my insurance covered any noticeable percentage of the work. But the Dentist and his staff are consistently maintain a pinnacle of professionalism, pleasant personalities, communication is clear, not rushed, informative and focused. All personnel pause to listen and answer any question and give well informed, confident, and respectful responses. Even the space is well thought out, and seems to be state of the art technology. They seem to be very efficient, all staff seem to enjoy what they do, and enjoy being in the space - from the Dentist himself to his receptionist, dental assistants, dental image specialist. Always a very pleasant experience! Most importantly MASTERS of eliminating all worry of pain, even the slightest bit of discomfort. Visiting a dental office has afforded me empty pockets, added pain, and a series of my life most traumatic experiences. Thank GOD I've found The Answer! Steven Glover

Dr. Dan is an amazing dentist (the best I've ever gone to). He's perfected sedation dentistry to the point where it's not the least bit uncomfortable. I was anxious prior to my initial visit years ago, but after that first consultation I immediately felt very comfortable and relaxed. I'm going in for a third implant soon and honestly haven't given it a second thought. I trust Dr. Dan COMPLETELY and would never consider going to another dentist. I can't say enough good things about all the folks at Sedation Dental - you take such great care of me during every visit... Stephanie my hygienist (who is super nice and friendly), Gina who handles all my appointments and bends over backwards to work around my schedule (thanks Gina!!), April, Jessica, Shawn - all of you are AMAZING and fantastic at what you do. You have actually made me look forward to going to the dentist - which is quite an accomplishment - so THANK YOU ALL!!

I have been going to Sedation Dental Care for 12 years. Best dentist office I've ever had. They are so wonderful, that after I moved to Florida, I still travel back to see family & go to Sedation Dental Care. I've never trusted any business or dentist as much as I do them.

I have been going there for over 10 years. They are absolutely fantastic! They are so gentle and respectful. The dentists have the perfect blend of professionalism and personability. I feel very safe with them, and I'm not someone who needs sedation so that is very important to me.

Just had my 3 month cleaning today and wanted to say 'thank you' to Stephanie my dental hygienist... she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during my visit. Stephanie did a fantastic job with my cleaning as usual, and was extremely professional, warm and friendly. Most important, she is a skilled hygienist and is doing a fantastic job helping me stay on task with my cleanings! The visit flew by today as I was so relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Dan only hires the best and the entire staff at Sedation is awesome, they treat me like family every visit. This the best practice in town IMO - so once again THANK YOU to Dr Dan, Stephanie, Gina, April, Jessica and everyone at Sedation Dental!!

I have been going to Sedation Dentistry many years, and when my mother came here after Dad's death, they graciously took her on, too. She was immediately enchanted by Dr. Dan, and even when her dementia considerably worsened she found a visit there a pleasant experience. I never needed sedation but I appreciate knowing exactly what will take place, lots of visuals onscreen, and clear presentation of status and options. Vandy Bradow
