Dr. Steve A. Sedaros was raised in Satellite Beach, FL, and graduated from Satellite High School. Knowing he wanted to be a Gator, Dr. Sedaros attended The University of Florida for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. He received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in 1999 and continued at UF to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2004. He has been licensed in Florida to practice dentistry since 2004.
Dr. Sedaros completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. John Health System in Detroit, Michigan. Through his extensive training, he is well versed as an Oral Surgeon in Melbourne, FL in trauma, corrective jaw surgery, diseases of the head and neck, dentoalveolar surgery, and dental implants. His specific areas of interest include dental implants, bone grafting procedures, wisdom teeth removal, and corrective jaw surgery.
Dr. Sedaros is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeryand a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, and the Brevard County Dental Society.
Dr. Sedaros has participated in several mission trips out of the country to serve the less fortunate people of Nicaragua and Ethiopia. His latest trip to Ethiopia included cleft lip and palate repair and removal of tumors to the head and neck with reconstruction.
Dr. Sedaros, his wife, 2 daughters, and son live in Melbourne, FL. His interests include anything outdoors with his family, tennis, and racing high-performance cars. He is very proud to join the Melbourne community where his father and mother, Drs. Adley and Sue Sedaros, practiced medicine for over 30 years. In addition, Dr. Sedaros brother is an orthopedic surgeon in Brevard County.

Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and welcome at our office from the moment you enter the door. All of our surgical assistants are DAANCE, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certified.
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires four to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Sedaros manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Sedaros practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. He can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
The surgical staff at Sedaros Oral Facial Surgery & Dental Implants are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. All surgical staff is required to have DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Exam) certification, which is a rigorous course and examination that demonstrates the highest level of clinical excellence. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR, PALS, and ACLS certified.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed. I would highly recommend them. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and competent and they took very good care of my son. As I retired dental professional I can be picky about offices but they far exceeded them.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME,I got my X-rays sent over they said they could help me, drove an hour to get there and they say they don't know if they can help me . Now they need to do a CT scan which will cost $350 to determine if they can help... I rescheduled later when I would have the funds and now they refuse to help me... don't waste your time...

Took my daughter in prepared for 2 implants. Dr. Sedaros stopped before procedure and said he felt one of them could be saved. Sending us to another physician who did a wonderful job of doing just that. Looking forward to returning for the one implant to a physician who I can truly trust to do the best for my daughter. Having worked in the field of dentistry in the past I'm so grateful to find such a patient centered physician and office.

I was not impressed. First call to confirm my appointment was supposed to be a consultation for surgery, the office staff said I was having surgery. Had to call my reg. Dentist to get it straightened out. Had me mixed up with different patient. Dr is very cold, arrogant, non interested. Did my tooth removal, took a half hour, I wasn't numb enough. My dentist sent over a new partial they did not have ready or knew about until I informed them. Not impressed, will be going elsewhere to have my implant completed. Do not need this nonsense in my life. Office staff less than professional.

I highly recommend Dr. Sedaro and staff. I brought my two teenage sons in for a consultation. My oldest was a straight forward extraction. His wisdom teeth were removed without complications. The staff was very professional and caring during and called to check on him the following day. My youngest son did not have a straight forward extraction based on the x-ray view. He had impacted molar teeth that the orthodontist wanted to have uprooted. Dr. Sedaro said that a CT was recommended for a better view. There were some dental insurance issues with covering the CT but I went ahead and paid for it. I am so glad I did. There was an area of serious concern that resembled a tumor. Dr. Sedaro referred us to Gainesville. Thank goodness it was a positive outcome. We would never have known if the Doctor did not recommend the CT. So please if a physician recommend a CT do not disregard. We are incredibly grateful to him and his staff for their professionalism and highly trained staff.

I was referred to Dr.Sedaros as a referral from another great dentist Holly Hamilton. At first I looked at the distance 46 minutes and was considering someone closer. But I went to the consult and was sold. He and his staff are so welcoming and comforting. My teeth were a mess because of dentist a phobia! But cracked teeth you cant ignore. Dr. Sedaros extracted 2 upper molars at 2pm today . Now I sit eating noodles no pain except a little in my cheek and the bleeding has stopped. I am sooo happy and grateful for this young charming well educated and professional young man and his terrifc staff. He was very understanding of my fears and concerns. I'm impressed and the 45 minute drive to his comfortable calm office was well worth it. Thank you for taking such good care and settling my irrational fears

Dr. Sedaros is an amazing oral surgeon! I was in pain a couple weeks ago and I had my wisdom teeth extracted a couple years ago and he took a look at the area to see what was going on and cleaned the area out since I had a pocket from how my wisdom teeth were coming in. I was so grateful for what he did!

Got my wisdom teeth removed today. Itnwas my first surgery and my first time going under on IV. I wont lie I was nervous. Really nervous. And accordingly to the doctor All four of my wisdom teeth were badly impacted, like completely sideways. So I go in, come to find out I wasn't suppose to eat or drink literally anything so they were gonna force.me to reschedule. I had been in constant daily pain to the point where it woke me up in the night. It was horrible. An hour later we called back and they were fully booked but regardless let me come back the same day a few hours later, aka Today. Apparently they worked through their lunch FOR ME. Because I was in much pain. I went in, they even numbed my arm so I didnt feel the needle go in AT ALL. Im a baby with deep veins and he did it with such ease. Wonderful, great doctor. super caring staff. Linda came into my room and held my hand to personallyy apologize for having to delay the surgery a few hours, even though it is 110% my fault. Dont remember falling asleep I only remember kinda leaving the doctors office. Absolutely recommend going hear for first time people. Or literally anyone such great amazing staff.
