I have been working for Dr. Chappell for four and a half years now. I am originally from Texas, but moved to Missouri when I was younger. I absolutely love what I do! One of the privileges that I have with working at the front desk is greeting the wonderful people that walk through our doors. I love helping others and providing great customer service for our patients. I have been happily married to my husband Caleb since 2015. We have a two year old daughter named Caroline Rose who is the biggest joy of our life. Caleb and his brother own a landscaping company called Venters Bros Lawn Pros here in town that they started when they were very young. I love anything that has to do with Caroline, cooking, family time, and coffee! If you want a fun and family-oriented dentist then this is the place for you!

My name is Kim Parrott and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been a hygienist for 13 years; however, my experience in dentistry began long before I became a hygienist. When I graduated from high school I attended the Kansas City College of Dental Careers and became a Certified Dental Assistant and eventually an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. I worked in a General practice and an Orthodontic practice as an assistant. When my children were older I decided to return to school and become a Dental Hygienist. I graduated from SFCC in Sedalia MO and have been a member of the Missouri Dental Hygienist Association since I graduated. My career in dentistry spans 30 years and it continues to hold my interest and challenge me on a daily basis. I like dentistry because it is a profession that helps people stay healthy and feel good about themselves and it is an important part of everyones overall health. I love getting to know my patients and their families. In my career, I aspire to treat each person as an individual and give the best treatment I can while educating and informing them of their current oral health. I also enjoy traveling to conferences for continuing education to stay up to date on the latest in dentistry, and I love networking with other hygienists. I currently live in Knob Noster, MO with my husband, Drew and I have two grown children and two granddaughters that we are very proud of. We make great memories with them! I enjoy yoga, shopping, bunco and napping with my fur babies.

I have worked in the dental field since 2009 and became an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in 2010. I was interested in furthering my dental knowledge and decided to go to hygiene school in 2013 and I am very glad I did! I truly enjoy hygiene; I love getting to know my patients and the pleasure of meeting such a wide variety of people and hearing their stories! My favorite part about my career is seeing patient compliance with homecare and knowing I played an important role in educating and helping change someones oral health for the better. I began my career as a hygienist for Dr. Chappell in January of 2017; I couldnt ask for a better work environment and doctor- its a very fun and family-oriented office that is great for patients of all ages. I was born in Ukraine and have the ability to translate for Russian/Ukrainian patients which is quite helpful at times. My husband and I have been married since May of 2009 and have two children who are our biggest blessing: Jacob (6) and Ayla (2). Vlad is a supervisor at Duke Manufacturing where hes worked for 7+ years and oversees the shipping/receiving department. In my spare time I love working out and spending plenty of quality time with family & especially my kiddos! Some of my other interests include: shopping in the city, hanging out with friends, decorating our home, and baking for others when I have the spare time.

Lana currently resides in Sedalia, Missouri with her husband, Victor and six kids. She has been working in the dental field for over ten years and currently has been employed with Dr. Chappell for a year and a half. She loves to assist the doctor with patients and work with the kids. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her kids, camping, and cooking. She is originally from Seattle, Washington and can translate Russian/Ukraine. Dr. Chappells office is such a fun place to work. Its like a great big family here at Sedalia Family Dentistry.

Dr. Joel Chappell was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Bring ham Young University College in Provo, Utah in 2003. Dr. Chappell received his dental degree from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2007. He enjoys helping people improve their health and smiles. Spending time with family, hunting, and playing sports are some of the things Dr. Chappell enjoys doing. He is also a huge Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan. Joel currently resides in Sedalia, Missouri with his wife, Carianne and three kids. After practicing dentistry in Texas for five years Dr. Chappell moved to Missouri for better weather and a taste of small town life. We look forward to serving you at Sedalia Family Dentistry!
