Dr. Katies father worked in the medical field, and she knew from a young age that she wanted to follow in his footsteps and directly help people. She also spent time working at German Orthodontics in her earlier years (the #1 provider of Invisalign Clear Braces for teenagers), which served as an additional source of inspiration to pursue dentistry as a lifelong career.
After completing an undergraduate degree at Indian University, Dr. Katie pursued her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the prestigious Northwestern Memorial Hospital. During this time, she trained extensively in working with medically compromised patients. Continuing education is very important to her, and she has completed advanced courses in cosmetic dentistry and sleep apnea treatment. She is also a certified Invisalign provider and a proud member of the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Katie has three young sons with Dr. Aaron, as well as an English Bulldog named Chloe. Spending quality time with her family is always a #1 priority when she isnt busy at work! Her other hobbies include traveling, running, and reading a good book.
Dr. Aaron grew up with a father who worked as a family physician, and he got plenty of exposure to the healthcare field from a young age. It didnt take long for him to realize that he wanted to follow in his dads footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry, which was his true passion. He met Dr. Katie while in dental school and the rest, they say, is history.
After achieving a degree in business from the University of Miami, Dr. Aaron pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He also regularly attends post-graduate courses in a variety of specialty services, including oral pathology, restoration with removable prosthetics (with and without implants), CEREC, and cosmetic dentistry. He has studied occlusion with Dr. Frank Spear and is proudly certified in implant dentistry. He is currently a member of the following organizations:
Dr. Aaron has three sons who keep him very busy in his free time theyve also taught him a lot about how to better understand young childrens dental needs and help them feel comfortable in the dentists office! His other hobbies in his free time including playing tennis, running, and traveling.
In the past, Dr. Aaron has also participated in several dental mission trips and volunteers at the Columbus Public Health Department, providing important services to the uninsured and underserved. Additionally, he has served in a program that offers free dentistry to Holocaust survivors in particular.

Just wanted to let everyone know if yal want a very caring Doctor and staff go to Sedalia Dental. Words cannot explain how at ease Dr Katie Angela and Caleb along with the entire staff were there. They go over everything with you and are so helpful and informative. I have never been to a better dentist and if you have fear of the dentist they go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. I recommend them highly to everyone

Very happy with Sedalia Dental! It's close to home, very professional, they are able to make crowns in office so no need for temporary or multiple appointments for a crown! They treat us very well, like customers should be treated!

Sedalia Dental currently does not require patients to wear face masks. I recently had my dental exam. The doctors, technicians, and administrative staff are all courteous, friendly, and professional. Service provided to date has been outstanding and keep informed along the way. Recommended.
