Thats why we focus on thorough exams checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, were also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with excellent, personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Dr. Lemmons graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Microbiology; afterwards, he attended The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. His accomplishments include earning a Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry, completing a mini-residency in IV Sedation at Medical College of Georgia, and successfully completing the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-course in implant surgery and restoration, at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Lemmons currently serves as an I.V. Sedation examiner for the North Carolina dental board.

Charitable dentistry is a mission that is personally important to Dr. Lemmons. He sees patients referred to our office by Care-Ring, an organization dedicated to helping indigent adult patients obtain health care. Dr. Lemmons volunteers at Agape Dental Ministries and our office participates in Give Kids a Smile Day. He recently traveled to Colombia, South America on a mission trip where he provided dental implant surgery for disadvantaged citizens of Armenia. Dr. Lemmons is a founding board member and a participant in North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NC-MOM Charlotte), a charity dental clinic held yearly at the Charlotte Convention Center.

While attending The University of Alabama, Dr. Lemmons was a member of The Million Dollar Band where he played in the drum line. He spent his summers as a camp counselor, teaching sailing at Camp Sea Gull, on the coast of North Carolina. During his four years at The University of North Carolina, he was president of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Dr. Lemmons enjoys Alabama football games, Carolina basketball, playing his drum set, playing golf, and playing with his two Boxers, King and Allie. He also enjoys being a member of Christ Covenant Church.
