To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Dr. Lemmons graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Microbiology; afterwards, he attended The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. His accomplishments include earning a Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry, completing a mini-residency in IV Sedation at Medical College of Georgia, and successfully completing the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxi-course in implant surgery and restoration, at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Lemmons currently serves as an I.V. Sedation examiner for the North Carolina dental board.
Charitable dentistry is a mission that is personally important to Dr. Lemmons. He sees patients referred to our office by Care-Ring, an organization dedicated to helping indigent adult patients obtain health care. Dr. Lemmons volunteers at Agape Dental Ministries and our office participates in Give Kids a Smile Day. He recently traveled to Colombia, South America on a mission trip where he provided dental implant surgery for disadvantaged citizens of Armenia. Dr. Lemmons is a founding board member and a participant in North Carolina Missions of Mercy (NC-MOM Charlotte), a charity dental clinic held yearly at the Charlotte Convention Center.
While attending The University of Alabama, Dr. Lemmons was a member of The Million Dollar Band where he played in the drum line. He spent his summers as a camp counselor, teaching sailing at Camp Sea Gull, on the coast of North Carolina. During his four years at The University of North Carolina, he was president of Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. Dr. Lemmons enjoys Alabama football games, Carolina basketball, playing his drum set, playing golf, and playing with his two Boxers, King and Allie. He also enjoys being a member of Christ Covenant Church.

I don't like this dentist. They have odd practices. Making me create three appoinments just to get my teeth cleaned. They filled a tooth for me and it felt like it was too high. I have called and asked for an overpayment refunded to me several times and I still don't have it.

Due to a bad dentist experience in the past I was very scared to go back to anyone new. I took a risk due to a emergency situation. Not only did they go out of the way to squeeze me in the same day, they even stayed over to complete a surgery. Of course when you are scared its nice to have some comfort right, well he allowed me to use his stomach as a pillow of comfort which was really what kept me calm. And if you think that was sweet he even went out of his way to call me and check up being he knew how rough the surgery was. I cant think of a better experience or dentist.

Upon moving to the area, I knew that this is who I wanted to be my dentist. I knew of his dad (who was a dentist) and his dental work from Greensboro, being a former dental assistant myself in the field. Dr. Lemmons and his staff are very welcoming, professional, and give excellent care. I highly recommend this team for all your dental care needs.

So went for normal cleaning. Had new insurance, was told in office that all was covered, even new X-rays. Then they tell me oops. Sorry, not covered. Now they are telling me I have to pay the $217 bill out of pocket and it ultimately my responsibility to know what my insurance will cover. Lost my business!!!

Dr Lemon has been our family dentist for over 25 years. We started seeing him in Charlotte and now we live in Pinehurst and still go to him at the Second Street location.

Went through my insurance allotment with x-rays and teeth cleaning. Cleaned my teeth four times within a years time and didn't do any teeth repairs.
