As a person who believes in creating genuine, healthy smiles for patients of all ages, Dr. Goraya began practicing dentistry over 10 years ago. She is a dentist who goes above and beyond to create the perfect smile and pain free solutions for her patients.
To achieve her dreams of creating healthy smiles for people, Dr. Goraya went to dental school in India, where she was born and raised, and graduated in 2002. She was very excited about offering the best dentistry possible, so after 2 years of practicing dentistry in India, she came to the United States to attend the prestigious New York Universitys College of Dentistry.
Once she graduated, she worked as a dentist in a local practice until she was ready to take the next step of her dream, having a dedicated dental practice of her own. Dr. Goraya made sure that the new office would have the latest technology and equipment in an environment that is clean and comfortable. She is committed to her ongoing education and continues to take part in professional development according to industry changes. She is always excited to learn new procedures, technologies, and techniques as much as meeting, talking to and taking care of patients.
Putting her patients needs first, Dr. Goraya is glad to provide comprehensive dental services to customers in Seattle, Greenwood, in Ballard, Fremont, Northgate, and Shoreline. Outside of her dental practice, Dr. Goraya enjoys music, reading, and spending quality time with her family. Her husband is a veterinarian, and in 2005, he opened his own practice: South Seattle Veterinary Hospital.

We had a great experience with this office! From the very first phone call, to the check out/treatment plan process, each staff member was efficient, kind, compassionate and respectful of their patients. Dr. Goraya has a pleasant bedside manner, as does her assistant. I was impressed with the sincere care and approach to patient care. I definitely will not hesitate to make the two drive to be seen by her!

Solid work. Scheduling and staff are next level. First time going in and wisdom teeth came out without a hitch. Not gonna lie, I always thought the dentist office took forever! Happy to see that I was just going to the wrong dentists! Best place I've been to.

I Went to this Dentist to get a deep cleaning and two fillings for my teeth, and everyone there was very professional and friendly towards me. The Dentist and hygienist were very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs and answered all questions I was asking out of fear. Of course, there was no cause to fear. Excellent service.

I can't complain; they are amazing! Even when I'm in pain and suffering, the Team is willing to stand by me. I know I'm a problematic patient due to my braces, and they always take the time and work me in no matter the situation! Thank you for everything! I can't wait to see my smile at the end of the treatment!

I'm on state insurance, and an older woman named Katrina at the front desk was trying to sell me extra toothpaste that I didn't want. When I didn't show interest in buying, she sighed and said: "I'll bet you dont even have $25 dollars do you? No? I didn't think so." Needless to say, incredibly condescending. I faced this treatment both over the phone and in person. If you're on Medicaid don't bother coming here unless you're up to deal with Katrina's unprofessional and classist nature. It's clear she somehow thinks she's being nice when she talks to patients like they're a pitiful roadkilled puppy. I'm a teacher living in a modest apartment, but by the time I walked out of this place I felt like l was homeless and jobless from the way Katrina talked down to me. I will say that the dental hygenist was very kind to both me and my teeth. Having my teeth cleaned by her was a painless and refreshing experience. There was also a very young dental assistant observing, which was sweet to see. I truly hate to leave a bad review on a family business.

I've been going to Seattle Family Dentistry for about 3 years now and have always had wonderful experiences. Their staff is experienced and knowledgeable, but what really stands out is how friendly and welcoming they are. They create a wonderful environment and treat their patients with care.

I've been coming here since 2019 and I love this place. I know it's silly to care so much about the dentist you go to but EVERYONE who works here is incredible. I should know their names by now, but the woman at the front desk will always help you understand the billing and insurance process and even explains what you can expect during your appointment. Dr. Goraya has a calming personality and lets you as the patient make your own choices. Also, shout out to the dental assistant who lectured me on the importance of flossing and i've been keeping up with it every day for the last 2 years since then! I've gotten fillings, crowns, teeth cleanings here- they even gave me the courage to get my wisdom teeth removed and referred me to an excellent oral surgeon. My teeth and I thank the people at Seattle's Family Dentisry.

Dr.Goraya and her staff are all amazing! I am a sterile processing technician and they showed me the instruments before opening them and i was very impressed. Everything was clean and actually sterile. No rips in the packaging or holes. The office was very clean and all staff was friendly.

I had my first visit today after several years of avoiding the dentist due to Covid. I was incredibly pleased with how safe everything felt and how friendly everyone was. The x-rays were the least painful that I have ever had. I also quite appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of the person at the front desk. From my initial phone call to schedule to walking out the door at the end of the appointment, she made things great!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I know everybody has a fear of the dentist but I definitely think mine was severe and had stopped me from taking care of oral health. I would make appointments just to cancel and it was weighing heavy on my every day stress. Dr. Ajwant was very gentle and gave me a clear layout on what is going on and what a good plan of action would be moving forward. I felt 0 judgement from her or her staff. Her assistant was outstanding and instantly made me feel comfortable. The office is very clean and you have so much privacy during your visit. I walked out of there excited to get the ball rolling. Very thankful to have found this office.
