Dr. Dupuis developed his love for science and medicine while studying Biology at the University of Washington. He graduated with his bachelors of science in Biology and went on to continue his education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he received his doctoral of dental surgery. While in dental school Daniel had the opportunity to work at the Odessa Brown Childrens Clinic in Seattle which ignited his passion for working with kids, specifically medically compromised children and those needing behavior guidance.

Dr. Dupuis completed his pediatric dental residency at the University of Washington where he also obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry. His masters thesis focused on determining the prevalence of feeding disorders in children.

Following dental school, she completed her General Practice Residency at the Loma Linda VA Hospital before finishing her Dental Anesthesiology residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She is board certified and currently holds a FADSA Fellowship with the ADSA. She is also certified in both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

We cultivate a relationship with each of our patients, which not only ensures better childrens dental care, but also turns a visit with our doctors and team into a visit between friends. Our team members look forward to enjoying a long-term relationship with both you and your children.

When Dr. Mikkelson was a little girl, she wanted to be a doctor, a ballerina, AND a fashion designer. She finally found the perfect combination of science, art, and fun in pediatric dentistry. She completed her Bachelors of Science at Oregon State University Honors College and went on to pursue a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Oregon Health & Science University. It was no surprise that Dr. Mikkelson volunteered for all of the extra shifts available in the pediatric clinic in dental school and while completing a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minnesota.

After practicing in Oregon for several years, she continued her education with a residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Washington and also obtained a Masters of Science in Dentistry. Her thesis research focused on the transition from pediatric to adult dental care for patients with special health care needs.

In her spare time, Dr. Mikkelson is most likely to be found having dance parties and crafting sessions with her husband and their young daughter, working in the garden, or tucked away reading a good book.
