A Navy brat for the first 12 years of his life, Dr. Santos moved with his family to beautiful Seaside, OR after his father retired from the Navy. He became a Seaside High Alum in 1995 and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Oregon State University before obtaining his dental doctorate from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI in 2002. After working in Great Falls, MT, and Lake Oswego, OR he returned to Seaside in 2003 to open a dental practice and has been serving the North Oregon Coast ever since. Having been involved with multiple study clubs and endless continuing education courses, Dr. Santos continues his pursuit of dental excellence and is motivated to stay on top of the latest trends in dental innovations.
Despite all the classes and technology available in dentistry, Dr. Santos understands that true success comes from a patient that becomes educated and motivated about his or her unique dental conditions. He views and treats each patient like a family member and understands the importance of a positive patient experience.
Because of his passion for people, Dr. Santos has spent time donating his time and services with Medical Teams International and Mission of Mercy, performing various dental treatments to those in need. You can even find him in the local schools talking to children about the importance of a healthy mouth.
In his spare time, you may find him working on his golf game, hiking to nowhere, watching movies about space and time travel, playing epic board games, helping coach his childrens sports teams, or reading apocalyptic adventures, fantasy worlds, or stories about overcoming insurmountable odds.
A native Oregonian and dental hygienist since 1995, Lisa is an outdoor enthusiast, and when she isnt removing plaque, slicking calculus, and improving the overall health of your teeth, gums, and periodontium, you may find her hiking to the base camp of Mt. Rainier, driving along the Stelvio Pass in Italy, getting lost in search of a hot spring in Iceland, or hiking to Machu Picchu in Peru.
Locally, she loves hiking, snowshoeing, running, camping in her camper van, and explorer breweries all while spending time with her dog, River. While working, she looks forward to meeting and developing bonds with all her patients. She loves how Seaside Family Dentistry is a working family and how everyone has a passion for serving the small north Oregon coastal community.
Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, Domingo began his career in the hospitality and restaurant industry after his schooling at Western Culinary Institute in Portland. In 2018, he made a transition from the hospitality industry to dentistry when he began at Seaside Family Dentistry. The transition has been seamless and his warm, caring personality is evident in his interactions with people. A sports lover, Domingo enjoys playing a good game of tennis, but will watch or play anything. He bleeds University of Washington football, but also loyally follows the Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Cowboys.
Shelbee, a true local to the north Oregon Coast, started dental assisting in 2015 when she graduated from Concorde University in Portland. In 2018 she joined Seaside Family Dentistry and instantly became part of the family. She has a passion for helping people, seeing the positive effects of changing someones smile, and relishes the opportunity to help the community she was raised in.
She devours books, enjoys camping, and attends concerts when possible. A natural singer, Shelbee once sang the national anthem before a Blazer game at the Moda Center. Her favorite things about working at Seaside Family Dentistry is the newer technology available to better treat paients dental needs and the overall team mentality to help the day go smoothly and positively.
