Dr. Garcia was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. At an early age, his family emigrated to Miami where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors at Florida International University. Dr. Garcia obtained his dental degree from the prestigious University of Florida in Gainesville. He graduated with special recognition for excellence in Oral Surgery. Since graduation, Dr. Garciahas completed over 400 hours of continuing education, including a Comprehensive Implant Continuum at the University of Florida that focused on treatment planning, placement, restoration, and management of complications. Dr. Garcia is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Treasure Coast Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Garcia met his wife Chelsea (Dr. Chelsea from Seaside Smiles Pediatric Dentistry) at the University of Florida while they both were obtaining their dental degrees. In his free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys spending time at the beach, playing basketball, playing guitar, scuba diving, and reading. Dr. Garcia is very proud to be a member of the Vero Beach community.
