Not only does the practice oforthodontics enable me to create beautiful smiles andimprove oral health,it also allows me to become part of each patients life. Although the treatment journey can be challenging at times, my team and I try to make it as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Being an orthodontist is a dream come true. I knewin 5th gradethat I was going to be an orthodontist. My mom and my two orthodontists, Drs. Gaston and Price, influenced and encouraged me to follow that dream. After practicing for more than 40 years, I still love what I do.
Orthodontics allows me to build friendships with many people and their families. It blends art, science, and technical expertise to create beautiful, confident smiles and friendships. I appreciate the opportunity to transform a timid, self-conscious child into a strong, confident adult and to help my adult patients develop the beautiful smile theyve long desired.
My team is amazing! They project care, confidence, and professionalism. With more than 115 years of combined orthodontic experience, they have the knowledge and passion to provide the highest quality of clinical care and customer service.
Im proud of the reputation weve built in the Lafayette community, and a lot of that is due to my remarkable staff. It is an honor to be seeing and treating the grandchildren of some of our first patients today. That confidence and commitment from our patient family means everything to us and keeps us going!
More than 40 years after completing my formal orthodontic studies, Im still actively learning about the specialty. Im very involved in our local chapter of Spear Education, an internationally renowned continuing education forum. I also regularly attend orthodontic meetings and lectureslocally, regionally, and nationally.
