I have been to many dentists, but I really liked how the staff here treated me. The staff worked with my health insurance to figure out a treatment plan and were honest with what I needed. It was evident that they were NOT motivated by pure profit. I came with a defective crown placement done by a different dentist, and Dr. Sean Yar completely redid it. Now, I have no problems with it, and it feels and looks much better. I highly recommend this place for UCR students looking for a dentist, especially with UC SHIP!

Unfortunately, due to a bad experience with my crown I have to change my review score. The Dr treated my teeth by putting two crowns. After a month the crown came out while I was eating food. The Dr put the crown back at no expense. However, recently the crown came out "again" but this time it broke into two pieces. Note that I have been staying away from sticky food and both incidents happened while I was chewing on normal non-sticky food.

Definitely recommend. Everyone is polite and helpful. Never have to wait long and they do a great job. Great prices and top of the line work. Dr. Yarr is very professional and does exactly what you ask and doesnt try to push unnecessary procedures. Ive been to several dentists and this office is by far the best. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this business.

Definitely recommend. Everyone is polite and helpful. Never have to wait long and they do a great job. Great prices and top of the line work. Dr. Yarr is very professional and does exactly what you ask and doesnt try to push unnecessary procedures. Ive been to several dentists and this office is by far the best. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this business.

The last time I had to have any dental work done, I was 8 years old, and it was everything that a child would fear from the dentist, the tarp in the back of the mouth, that awful tasting gel, and just misery all throughout. So I was a little bit scared to see what would happen this time. Dr. Yar and his staff completely shattered any fears that I had. He was exceptionally deft with the injection, so that the discomfort was minimized, and the whole procedure, including letting the injection set in, took less than 30 mins. All in all, 10/10 would get cavities again.

Very welcoming and accommodating staff, worked around my busy school schedule. Dr. Yar was honest with his recommendations, finished my filling real quick and fixed a chipped tooth that I didn't even come in for. Definitely my first choice of dentists

I stayed away from the dentist for a long time due to a traumatic experience but Dr. Yar and his team and helped be overcome a great fear. They are all so love and considerate and excellent at what they do. I actually look forward to every appointment as I journey toward the smile I've always wanted. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this staff!

I would recommend Santiago A. Rojo D.D.S out of Moreno Valley instead of this Dentist. I would give Sean Yar DDS 10 stars if all I needed was my teeth X-rayed. Michele the woman that took my X-rays was AMAZING beyond AMAZING. She was so friendly and comforting. She is even forced to work with machines that don't function properly. (The X-ray machine kept falling forward and bumping me in the face) Imagine all the grief she probably gets from patients complaining. I almost stayed until I met the dentist, I did not get his name because he did not introduce himself to me. He is the skinny short little man with very messy hair. He came in the room rambled off coldly what needed to be done to my teeth .Told me that there was tissues next to me because I was in tears and walked out of the room. Leaving me there not knowing exactly what to do. I grabbed my stuff and Michele came rushing back trying to explain and she did explain she was awesome but I could not in my heart give that man my service he is a hateful person who needs a lesson in bed side manners. I hope Michele will end up working with a better dentist.

I recommend him because of his great skill, compassion, and fairness. Dr. Yar has been my dentist for a few years His advice is wise, and conclusions are well thought out. As an example, When asked should if one should just get full implants, he said "It always better to keep your original teeth." He would make more with implants. Floss before Roto-dent brushing, your teeth should feel shiny and smooth. He would make more with fillings. He has performed on me a deep cleaning, a crown, about a dozen fillings, and his staff two castings, two night-guards, about 15 cleanings, and half dozen x-rays. His other office is in up-scale Orange County. He is great.
