Dr. Sean Thompson has a motto: treat others how you would like to be treated. And he stays true to that motto with each and every patient that enters the practice. Dr. Thompson is a genuine, hardworking dentist here to serve you and your family with the quality dental care and comfort you deserve.
Dr. Thompson graduated with high honors from the world renowned University of Southern California, USC, School of Dentistry. At USC, Dr. Thompson ranked top of his clinical practice, earning his doctorate in Dental Surgery.
Dr. Thompson acknowledges the importance of continuing education courses and participation in dental organizations. By taking extended courses, Dr. Thompson is able to provide state-of-the-art care and technology to make your visit relaxing and enjoyable. Dr. Thompson has participated in extended courses such as the Las Vegas Implant Institute program. A proud member of various dental organizations, including the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry, The American Board of Family Dentistry, The World Clinical Laser Association, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, his consistent and extensive training allows him to go above and beyond your expectations of comprehensive oral care. Dr. Thompsons specialty course training includes oral conscious sedation, six month braces, implantology, TMJ therapy, and advanced cosmetic concepts.
A proud supporter of the armed forces, Dr. Thompson received the highly coveted Meritorious Service Medal for his service in the United States Army Dental Corp. His six years in the service provided him the groundwork of his expertise, later lecturing and training at international seminars on the subjects of patient safety and sterilization techniques.
With over 15 years in practice, Dr. Thompson has proudly served the South Orange County area Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, Capistrano Beach, San Clemente, and beyond.
When Dr. Thompson finds time away from the office, he enjoys flying and surfing with his beautiful wife, Lisa, and his children, Kory, Zach, and Nicole. And even his lovely grandchildren, Sophie, Peyton, and Winter. You might even catch Dr. Thompson playing an awesome drum solo at your local church!
Sandy is our welcoming leader. She brings over 25 years of experience in the dental field and is a valuable asset to our friendly team. Any inquiries you may have, Sandy is ready to answer and assist you. She earnestly loves working with each patient. In her spare time, Sandy is passionate about quilting, sailing, and gourmet cooking.
She has 15 years of experience in dental front office coordinating. She is passionate about patient care! In her off time she loves to go camping, catch up on her favorite shows, and spend time with her family.
ShannonRae is our vivacious and comforting dental hygienist. She graduated with her BSDH from Northern Arizona University and brings over 25 years of dental hygiene experience to the practice. In her free time, ShannonRae likes to take her son, Nathan, to the beach to walk their dog, Mr. Pugsley.
Nicole is our friendly and helpful dental assistant you will meet at your visit to our office. With 5 years of Dental Assisting experience, she is ready and available to help you with whatever your dental needs may be. Nicole is passionate about patient care and makes every visit pleasant for her patients. On her off time Nicole loves to spend time with her husband and kids, cooking and going on family outings.

Transformative. If I had little fairy wings I would be flitting around six inches off the ground! New smile! Dr Thompson made models until it was just right. The end result is amazing. I am me again. Can't stop smiling.

I thought I had the best dentist available for 42 years. Your staff literally blew that place out of the water. I had never received more than two dental X-rays, routine 5 for them showed all my teeth. Modern equipment I'd never seen before. Out of 10 stars, I'd give my new dentist and staff a 20+

Dr. Thompson helped me with my veneers and I'm extremely satisfied with how they turned out. He and his office made the whole process so easy and painless for me. I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. I now feel so confident in my smile and that is all thanks to his great work. I recommend anyone who is interested in veneers to see Dr. Thompson as they will love their results just as much as I did. Could not recommend more!

Reina was my hygienist. She was gentle yet thorough so I wasn't all tensed up like usual. Despite my needing some future work, Sandy worked with me explaining procedures and financials well and including a nice discount for pre-paying. The office is flexible enough to work with you and your insurance. All the equipment and procedures are very up to date in the office. Ya gotta go to the dentist, and Dr. Thompson is a great choice.

I walked in with a broken tooth, and walked out one hour and 15 minutes later with a tooth looking and feeling as good as new. No need for a temporary crown, as the work is all done at their on site lab. Dr. Thompson did a remarkable job and I am so pleased with the result.

I am typically wary of visiting any doctors, because I could never understand the billing aspect. We had been going to the same dentist for about 5 years and things just seemed odd with my last dentist. Both me and my wife brush and floss consistently (my wife does this daily and I.... try to do this daily). Yet we would alway end out paying out of pocket a hefty amount. With my job change, I finally had the courage to look for a new dentist that's closer to home, and then I remember seeing the flyer that's been coming periodically for a couple years--Dr. Thompson. My first consultation visit was yesterday, 9/15/2020, and Dr. Thompson was very genuine and understood the different types of billing names that were needed for me. He wasn't the type that'd simply push me to the front office staff to deal with billing. Sandy, VERY detailed oriented, was able to explain the fee structure to me. And I left the office wondering why hadn't I switched dentist sooner. I understand this was my first visit and it only happened yesterday, so I plan to post an updated review next year. We need reviews like this to have faith in doctors!

This is how I met Dr. Thompson. I went in for a cracked tooth thinking I would need a crown, instead he saved more of my tooth with an inlay. I was so impressed I decided to take a leap of faith on him. Little backstory, I broke my jaw in 4 places 10 years ago and I have a lot of existing damage to my teeth. it's difficult for me to sit for long periods of time getting work done. I decided to get veneer's on my front teeth. Instead of doing six teeth, he was very conservative and said I only really needed to fix four. So I did and they look fantastic and the bite is perfect. He scheduled extra time to work on my mouth without rushing the process. He explained everything in advance so there were no surprises. I'm thankful for Dr. Thompson and sincerely appreciate all the efforts of him and his great team. Personally, I recommend Dr. Thompson for any work you need done. Suzanne Fisher
