After graduating with his engineering degree and getting his first paycheck from his first job, Dr. Sefidpour asked his dentist for a referral to an orthodontist. The effect of correcting his malocclusion and getting the smile he always wanted made a profound difference in his life. After experiencing firsthand the positive effect of orthodontic treatment on his self-confidence, Dr. Sefidpour made the decision that thiswas what he wanted to do as a profession.
He attended the University of California-San Francisco School of Dentistry, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Sefidpour completed a two-year residency at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where he received a certificate and a Master of Science in orthodontics.
Having practiced for more than two decades, Dr. Sefidpour understands that continuing education is essential to keep up with advances in orthodontic treatment methods. Thanks to his continual studies, he has implemented leading-edge technologies, such as digital scanning, 3D printing, and cone beam scanning into his practice to provide consistent, high-quality treatment to his patients.
Dr. Sefidpour has lived and practiced in Granite Bay, California, for more than 20years. He and his wife of nearly three decades have two beautiful children. When hes not in the office, Dr. Sefidpour likes to exercise and restore vintage cars, and above all, spend time with his family.

This girl sucked her thumb as a young child. She started treatment at age 13. She had braces and a special appliance called a crib to retrain the tongue, for 28 months. Now she can bite the lettuce out of a sandwich.
This man, age 25, required braces and jaw surgery to correct his severe overbite. Treatment lasted two years. His problem could have been corrected without surgery if he had been treated before he was a teenager.
