Other dentist couldn't get me in for 2 1/2 weeks. I called Sean Cooney's office after hours and left a message. I got an email at 6:30 am and they let me come in first thing. They are compassionate and efficient. I would rather drive a little further and go to Sean Cooney's office. Thank you so very much!

Dr. Cooney is the best dentist I have ever had. I had a fear of the dentist and after seeing him that fear has gone away. He is so patient and kind and does everything he can to help his patients. His office staff is kind, professional, and very helpful. I will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Cooney and Erin are absolutely the BEST dentists that I have ever gone to! I actually used to hate going, but these guys make me look forward to my next cleanings. My wife, mother in law, and my brother all go here and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Yes, THEY'RE THAT GOOD! Thank you for all you do and all you've done.

Honestly I have had the most excellent experiences with Cooney Dental. I have been bringing my family here since my middle son started to get teeth! Erin is the best always greets us with a smile and treats us like family! Dr.Cooney is a excellent straightforward dentist no beating around the bush! I completely trust them with my family. We have had extractions on a two yo and adults, root canals, fillings, deep cleaning, routine care, and emergency care they have never let me down! Believe me I would absolutely tell you if they did!

I was seen in Jan 2020 for tooth pain on my left side I was 20 weeks pregnant the dentist told me that he did not want to do x-rays because of pregnancy and we would take care of the problem after baby. Went back to dentist in March of 2020 complaining of a spot in my mouth and the same dental pain I had been having since January. Yet again I was denied xrays due to being pregnant and no treatment was performed but he had no problem still charging me. I Trusted my dentist to provide me with sound medical advice, however he told me if I needed a root canal He would just give you antibiotics until after I give birth ... fast forward April of 2020 and the covid19 Pandemic I called him To get help with no avail after getting antibiotics from my ob with a hole and Terrible pain and he had me send him a photo....told me he would see me when the covid risk came down because he lived with elderly people and to call him if it got worse, I emailed him Wednesday instead of calling (because we had been communicating for the photos I sent through email) what doctor doesn't have their office emails forwarded to their home during a pandemic? After no response on Monday I went to another dentist who was still seeing Patients due to covid19 emergencies and explained my situation and they ended up seeing me and sending me to a oral surgeon to check the gland in my mouth then I was sent to a endodontist to check my tooth for the need for a root canal, the endodontist says that I do need a root canal and that I would have to go back to my dentist for the crown, dr Cooney told me that he would not do the crown and that I have seen three other people and he could no longer advise me or be my dentist anymore because I went to a dentist who could see me quicker during a Pandemic and being in pain and barley can eat at 8 months pregnant. fair warning to anyone who uses him he will fail you or push things off to charge you more. I read reviews and ended up still going with him because he supports military as my husband is retired...this is a joke. I have now learned why he is always accepting new patients with a big banner outside his office. I wish luck to any future patient of his.

What a great dentist and staff. Fit me in quickly when I had terrible tooth pain. Dr Cooney was upfront with what was going on. He really took the anxiety out of the equation. The procedure was as pain free as I have ever experienced. Great job and thanks.

Great Dentist! Im forgetting his sisters name right now but she is awesome too! Sean is such a fun guy to talk to and the only dentist I have ever looked forward to seeing. He is straight forward and tells you how it is and recommends only the best care for your teeth. I had Gum Disease and he guided me and educated me to help me get rid of it! He recommended a scaling process which required some money and extra visits but totally worth it. So thankful for his dedicated work!

I had a similar experience like Alison Cooper. Was strongly recommended that I have more things done besides cleaning that I had to pay out of pocket because the insurance wouldn't cover it. He's been advertising, "Accepting New Patients" for some time 2-3 years. You have to wonder and now you know why. Sean is a young guy and he probably has to pay his student loans off still. I would agree as another review stated that he is personable and tries to come off as sincere and honest but now I know different. I have since researched and found a great dentist and hygienist that I'm very happy with that said my mouth didn't have the problems stated at Dr. Sean P. Cooney and his employees. I don't have the time but the Better Business Bureau and/or Attorney General of the State of Missouri should investigate his practice. Wow!! Here it is March 10, 2019 and Dr. Sean P. Cooney is STILL in business!!

Dr. Cooney is unprofessional and will tell you that you need additional work that you don't need just to charge you more! He told me I needed additional X-Rays so my insurance would cover a scaling procedure. Whenever my insurance wouldn't cover it, Dr. Cooney asked me to come back for more X-Rays to file an appeal with insurance. My insurance denied the additional X-rays and I had to pay over $1,200 for the procedure out of pocket. Avoid Dr. Cooney at all costs!!
