Health is very important in our lives. We work hard in our daily lives to give our family the best and keeping them safe. We wanted our children to grow up healthy and strong. Kids often eat sugary foods or food that may harm their mouth and especially their teeth. Thats why pediatric dentistry is very important in keeping our kids healthy.

Pediatric or childrens dentistry is a field in dentistry that focuses on the dental care of infants up to their teen years. Most kids are uncomfortable going to dental clinics because they think they are scary. However, these professionals are specially trained in using tactics to provide high-quality dental care to their patients. They are highly skilled dentists that can give expert treatments to children. In comparison to the general dentist, pediatric dentists can pose several benefits to your children.

Kids can be loud and naughty in dental clinics. Several behaviors such as crying, shouting, and breaking free from the dental seat are being observed through the years. These situations can be very dangerous for the children as they may damage their teeth during dental procedures. However, pediatric dentists are experienced in these kinds of situations and have their way of calming down their patients. They can make a peaceful operation assuring the child that they are okay.

In a study in 2019, pediatric dentists are said to be trained through art behavior guidance. The study involves the circumstances where children are first introduced to dentists and patients with intellectual disabilities. These circumstances can affect the dental operation and may pose harm to the patient. The literature also states that behavior guidance is very important in giving excellent dental care while forming trust with the patient.

Children can have bad habits such as thumb sucking, bottle feeding, or prolonged pacifier use. Some children also have habits of chewing hard objects or harsh toothbrush techniques. One of the best benefits of going to pediatric dentists is they are trained to target that bad habit. These bad habits can cause several disadvantages to your childs health such as bacterial infection, teeth misalignment, and other related. Pediatric dentists study cases of these situations which makes them more suitable in choosing your childrens dentist over at Morrison Dental Group.

Childrens dentistry allows pediatric dentists to understand childrens growth and changes. They can keep track of childrens dental health. Dental changes involve teeth, jaw, and mouth. Pediatric dentists are trained to adapt to these changes and can treat them perfectly. This is also because they are familiar with the levels and stages of child growth.

With the first benefit, pediatric dentists provide a better environment for children. Most pediatric dental clinics are designed with murals, artistic, and child-friendly. This is because childrens dentistry teaches pediatric dentists to form positive relationships with their patients. They create a child-friendly environment in order to make their patients comfortable with the treatment. This will also remind the children of good memories in the place and keep coming back with no more fear.

Childrens dentistry involves the use of smaller tools compared to regular-sized dental tools. Pediatric patients range from infants to teens so pediatric dentists are opt-in using smaller tools. This is so that they can probe on the small teeth of the kids. Pediatric dentists are adept and highly trained in working with specialized instruments and can look at childrens teeth safely.

Childrens dentistry also involves the study of pain reaction control. A 2019 study suggests that circumstances, wherein pediatric patients arent able to tolerate pain despite being under local anesthesia, need communicative behavioral modification. Pediatric dentists are also able to control these situations to make their patients comfortable during operations. The study also suggests the use of pharmacological management should be used when behavioral modification doesnt work. These types of study are what sets childrens dentistry apart from general dentistry.

Health is a very important aspect of our lives and it is important that our children need optimum dental care. Childrens dentistry is a field of dentistry that involves specialization in childrens oral health. Pediatric dentists are highly trained and have special skills in childrens oral health care. There are several benefits to being a pediatric dentist such as enjoying childrens oral development, making children calmer during operations, and working on specialized tools. They are also certified to provide optimum children oral health care.

When my childhood dentist retired, I tried a few different dentist offices before coming to Dr. Anderson's office. I am so happy I made the switch. The hygienists are so gentle (but still thorough) and they never make my gums bleed like others have in the past. Dr. Anderson and his crew are very friendly and make you feel at home in the office. Also- they value your time...they have never been late to start my appointment.

I have been going to Dr. Anderson for about 18 years. I think my patient number is 35. He has always been straight forward on what needs to be done with my TMJ and any issues I may have had with my teeth. The staff is very friendly and professional. They always try and make you feel like one of the family.

If you are looking for a gentle dentist and hygienist, with a warm and welcoming staff - this is your place! I had the unfortunate experience of fracturing and loosing part of a tooth one evening and with not knowing where to go, I was referred to Dr. Anderson. I called that moment (in a panic) and the receptionist was great, she calmed me down instantly and got me in right away. I have always had a fear (a ridiculous fear) of dentist and doctor visits but after only a few minutes in Dr. Anderson's office I began to calm down. Dr. Anderson and his staff are the absolute best! They explained clearly what was to be done and made sure I was as comfortable as possible through the entire procedure. My tooth looks incredible! I have already been back for a cleaning and will continue to return. I would recommend Dr. Anderson anytime, hands down!

Where to start? Short answer, every aspect of this office is great. Longer Answer: Great customer service from Dr. Anderson and his whole staff. Front Desk/Billing was great! Honest and direct answers while being polite and genuine. The dental Hygienist did great work; fast and reliable; personable and professional. The dental assistant(s) absolutely made me feel comfortable - I had some major dental work done, and who likes doing that? But they generally cared and gave great support. I almost wanted to ask one of the Dental Assistants to go for a walk or something because she was so nice. But, I was there to get work done! Dr. Anderson is Open, not offended when asked questions, and is honest, caring and competent. I know I have mentioned a lot about service - that does a lot to help retain customers. They had that in bunches. They were honest; they didn't recommend procedures that would have cost me thousands of $$ to do, they didn't exaggerate my condition to make an extra buck. Dr. Anderson gave his opinion and made a realistic plan to fit my needs. I have sensitive gums and I don't numb easily, and the Doctor was very receptive to my concerns. During the procedure the thing that was the "worst" was the noise(who likes the sound of a drill when in your own mouth?) when I had my work done. The assistants and the dentist were very attentive, and when they even thought I was uncomfortable they were proactive in their approach. To which, I didn't feel a thing. Not that I look forward to going to the dentist, but I am 40 years old, and I have never had a dentist office that has performed to this level in every aspect; great dentist, great staff, great work. After care was equally as important. Dr. Anderson's staff isn't like do the work, get the patient out, and off to the next patient. I received a card thanking me, when I had a concern after hours and over the weekend, I reached out to the dentist office; promptly got a call back and they weren't annoyed that i called. I have had several appointments with this office, and I have never been disappointed.

Dr. Anderson's practice is second to none. The inviting atmosphere allows you to relax while at the dentist. Dr. Anderson is very personable. He takes his time with his work. Double and triple checking to make sure he gets the dental work just right. The administrative staff is always smiling and welcoming. You can tell they love working there. The highlight to Dr. Anderson's practice is his hygienist. She is very gentle and talks you through the process, explaining ins and outs of oral hygiene. Easily the best hygienist visit I've ever had. I would recommend anyone to go see Dr. Anderson. You will have found your lifelong dentist.

This is a wonderful office. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. The environment feels more like you are visiting a home rather than a dental office. Dr. Anderson is a great dentist, very gentle and does fabulous dental work! Its a place where you feel more like family than a patient. I highly recommend Dr. Anderson!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson's practice for over 10 years. While Dr. Anderson is capable, caring and competent (not to mention very easy on the eyes) it is actually his staff that makes his office run smoothly. The office is classy and comfortable. I would recommend my friends and family who are interested in good service and have good manners. This is a nice office with nice people who know what they are doing.

This review is long overdue, I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson's for over 15 years. He can change a "Dental Phobia Patient" into a happy calm patient. Dr. Anderson is a great dentist and I would recommend him to anybody that is looking for an excellent dental provider.

Dr. Anderson and his staff are absolutely the best!! Not only are they extremely nice and customer focused, the level of attention and gentle treatment has made the difference in me staying with them as a client for more than 7 years. It is worth the 30 minute drive because I feel totally comfortable with the level of service I receive. Unfortunately, I am one who do not have the strongest teeth, so regular visits to the dentist is a must for me; however, out of all the dentist I've been to in my life, Dr. Anderson is by far the best I've ever had. I don't even mind getting shots (I don't know how he does it but you barely feel the needle in your gums). If you're looking for a professional and friendly staff with great skills, make an appointment with Dr. Anderson's office. I give them 5 stars!!!
