Dr. Sean E. Patrick was born in Iwakuni, Japan. He was reared in a military home and completed high school at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State University where he earned a degree in Biology. After he met and married his wife, Katie, they moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where Dr. Patrick attended the University of North Carolina Dental School on a full academic scholarship awarded by the United States Navy. After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, Dr. Patrick was selected by the United States Navy to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Parris Island, South Carolina. After completing his residency, Dr. Patrick was stationed in Sasebo, Japan, for three years. He served as an Annex Clinic Director, caring for active duty personnel and their families. After completing his military commitment, the Patrick family moved back to the United States where Dr. Patrick practiced in Charlotte. He established Patrick Family Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Patrick, his wife Katie, and their three children reside in Waxhaw. Dr. Patrick and his wife are members of Carmel Baptist Church.
Dr. Patrick loves the hometown feel of the Matthews area. His goal is to provide high quality dentistry for the entire family. He envisions a practice where the children he sees today will eventually grow up and bring their children. I have always enjoyed meeting people and desire a practice where I can form long-term relationships with my patients and take care of all of their dental needs.
He regularlyattends continuingeducation courses to stay up-to-date with current techniques and procedures. In his spare time, Dr.Patrick enjoys family life with his wife, Katie, and their three children. His hobbies include reading,traveling, outdoor activities, cheering on his Tar Heels, and anything soccer related.

My whole family loves Dr. Patrick's office! A couple of us have dental anxiety due to past experiences with other dentists; Dr. Patrick and his staff do a great job of helping us relax. Very friendly environment. So happy that our friend referred us to him!

Absolutely the best dentist and staff. The moment you enter the office you are greeted by Judy who is always so friendly and helpful. She knows your name and immediately makes you feel welcome.I have Linda as my hygienist and she is great. She is quick, efficient and makes having my teeth cleaned not something I dread. Then there's Dr. Patrick. Hands down my favorite dentist I've ever had. He is great about not pushing costly treatments at me which I appreciate. He's very down to earth and just a great guy. I moved from Vermont 2 years ago and am so happy I chose this practice. I recommend it to everyone.

I have been coming to Dr Patrick for years, he's amazing. Does quality work and his staff is always so very friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable of what procedures need to be done and they talk you thru every step of the way. I've had my regular cleanings, fillings and a crown done with him over the years, I love it here.

I've been going to Dr. Patrick for 10+ years. Several other family members and friends are patients of his as well. Friendly, professional, efficient staff. Upon arrival there is never more than a five minute wait. I highly recommend Patrick Family Dentistry.

Dr. Patrick and his staff always show genuine concern for the patient's comfort during each visit. Brandy (the hygienist) is as gentle as can be, and repeatedly asks if everything is OK. I also appreciate the front desk staff being so willing to take extra steps to be sure that insurance coverage is in order.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patrick's for years. I have always had great care. Today was a routine check-up appointment, but the entire staff took care to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. I highly recommend Dr. Sean Patrick if you need a dentist in the Matthews area.

My daughter recommended Dr. Sean Patrick, DDS, as I was not familiar with any dentist here in Charlotte, NC. Being 81 my experience with dentist was not something I wanted.& quite honestly I normally dreaded going. However, I must say it was quite an experience for me as everyone in his office was a pleasure to meet and talk to. This was one of the best trip to a dentist in many years. They put me at ease from the very beginning and I could not have ask for anything better. I would highly recommend (and I don't normally recommend) if you have a dental problem, try Dr. Patrick's, I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised. Ed Henderson

Quality dental practice including latest technology. Clean and modern environment with excellent staff. Brandy is an excellent hygienist and Judy is an efficient office manager. Together, the staff along with a personable Dr. Patrick provided a quick and easy office visit.. I always look forward to my bi-annual cleaning and check-up with Dr. Patrick. His staff is very efficient and easy to get along with. I highly recommended this family practice that is conveniently located in south Mecklenburg

Dr.Patrick is always great with kids of all ages from my 7 to 11 years old. His staff is so friendly and helpful either on the phone or in person. It's such a relief to find a good dentist that I know my kids, myself and my husband can go to and feel comfortable and well taken care of.

This is exactly the type of dentist that we were searching for...a small private practice that is not dictated by a corporate business model designed to make as much money as possible.
