Dr. Sean Abidin was raised in Lancaster, Ohio. He earned his bachelors degree in zoology from Miami University, graduating with honors. Later, Dr. Abidin attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated magna cum laude. He was initiated into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received the Ora Beyl Kneisly Award and AOOMS Dental Implant Student Award upon graduation. After dental school, Dr. Abidin completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He has been practicing dentistry in private practice around central Ohio since he completed his residency. Dr. Abidin is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Columbus Dental Society.
Dr. Vanessa Cao grew up in western Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelors degree in general biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Cao continued her professional training with a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The Dental Center at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Since then, she has been in private practice around the Columbus area. Dr. Cao is an active member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Columbus Dental Society.

Dr. Cao was very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. She spent lots of time carefully explaining the details of my x-rays and photos to ensure I was fully aware of where there could be concerns. It was a fantastic first visit!

I started going to Dr. Cao 6 months ago and feel like I've known her for years. I've had multiple issues with my teeth and she has been very attentive to any concerns and on top of the treatment I need. Beyond that, she's very personable and takes an interest in her patients' lives as well. I have nothing but good things to say about her and everyone I've met in the office!

I have been going to this practice since Dr. Lynn Monstwil owned it. The transition a while back to Dr. Cao and Dr. Abidin was perfection. You never really felt like anything changed. From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the professional equipment, to the friendliness & professionalism of the staff- it was like nothing had changed. I love this practice and after having some bad experiences in the past with other doctors who didn't care to put me on a proper treatment plan, I would never refer anyone to any other practice, ever. They are experts and they treat you like family. They are better than 5 stars. I am a forever patient!

Nice people that take time to know you. I had to have an old filling refilled again and I didn't even feel the shot that Dr Sean Abidin gave me to numb me. He explained everything he did before and as he did his work. He was quick and thorough. Dr. Cao has always taken the time to explained areas to watch and why they may become a problem. A couple of great dentist at this office.

The Entire Dentist Staff is very Friendly but at the same time very COVID Conscious. DDS, Vanessa Cao did my Dental work. I felt she was very thorough and aware of areas in my mouth that would be more Sensitive to pain and performed the needed Dental Procedure accordingly. Also, Vanessa and The Smile Staff made sure I was comfortable, explaining to me all of the noises and things that take place at a Dentist Office and/or Your Procedure. I appreciate that, helped me to feel more calm during my visit.

Some people might find it weird when I say, "I absolutely LOVE my dentist," but if they had a dentist like Vanessa Cao, they would be saying the same thing! I have always had a fear of "the chair" from when I was younger, but after going here for the past several years, I've actually looked forward to the dentist. Everyone is so friendly and professional and they remember everything I tell them about my life and follow up at my next appointment! I feel like they truly care about me and it is so wonderful. Thank you, Dr. Cao, for being awesome at your job and being such a pleasant person!

Phenomenal staff. Very clean facility. Small team made me feel very welcome and at home. Dr. Vanessa explained every step of the process and didn't pressure me to have work done that wasn't necessary at this time.
